"Itsuki… Itsuki Wake up!! Wake Up Itsuki!! WAKE UP!!!" an angered voice was calling out to Me,

It felt like I was out cold for days… At least until I started faintly hearing someone call out my name…. They were demanding I wake up. After what felt like 20 minutes… My eyes finally opened and as My vision cleared up I could see Hotaru holding onto my shoulders and calling out to Me.

"Itsuki! Y-your finally up~" Hotaru voiced out her worries but it looked like the sight of Me recovering eased Her as I felt Her arms wrapped around My neck and Her head resting on my Shoulders.

This was the first time She hugged me that Tightly, I guess Hotaru was very terrified of losing Me so I hugged her back in response to ease Her out of Her worries. The embrace that Hotaru gave Me was very warm, I can only guess that she woke up a few hours before I did.

"How… How long have I been gone?" The tone of My voice is very soft and rigid, I stuttered a bit, so I was just barely able to speak to My childhood bestfriend properly.

"I only just woke up too Itsuki, I was just worried that You might have not wake up again…. But I'am happy your back now" She said as if she was about to cry.

Her voice was really trembling but it quickly softened and returned to Her usual happy self. I would definitely get depressed too if I ever lost Hotaru but it feels good knowing that there is someone out there that cares for You even if it isn't openly shown.

We finally separated from the embrace after 15 minutes, Hotaru was back to Her same old self, Her "Happy Cheerful Self" and I was glad to see it, She has never really been that emotional around Me, It's because Hotaru hates becoming vulnerable in front of others due to some of Her abandonment issues during her childhood.

The Inside of the captain's Office was silent but Hotaru Broke this deafening silence.

"Anyway, What happened earlier?" She asked in a concerned way.

"I'm not sure, but from my Understanding When I read what as written on the sheet of paper inside the Captain's chest, The mirror that came with it started flashing green lights…" I tried my best to answer the question that Hotaru asked hoping to not get Her to worry any further.

"Were you feeling dizzy during the moment that mirror was shining all over?" She asked as if she was a detective.

"Yes, I did feel a bit dizzy." I answered to ease the tension in the room.

"So We both felt it… anyway let Us get some fresh air Itsuki, I can smell your body odor fogging up the room." She teased

Hotaru was definitely back to Her cheerful self but it feels like She is trying too hard to hide the vulnerable state She has shown me not too long ago.

I noticed that the parrot that Hotaru was twiddling earlier was on the floor, I picked it up and handed it to her.

"You forgot this." I said as I gave the Mechanical parrot to Her.

"Thank You, Although it seems to be missing a piece." She laughed as she pointed out that theres a hole in it's back.

It looked like one of those wound-up keyholes you would see in Old toys from the 40s or 50s.

"Shall we look around the room more to see if We can find the key?" I asked.

"But I already have it." Hotaru said while pridefully showing the Key.

". . . . . . . And Where did you get it?" I held back on talking but I mustered up asking anyway.

"Well it was inside the beak." She gleefully said while twirling the key in her fingers. She then inserted the key into the hole and turns and to our surprise, it wasn't a wound-up key but acted like a regular key.

The Bronze Mechanical parrot's eyes lit up, its legs and fingers started moving and its wings adjusted as if it was shut down for a while. The bird Squealed and started Talking. The sounds of its gears grinding weren't noisy but it was noticeable.

"Squuuaaaawk!!! My name… Is Nugget! Your new Operation Assistant!!" The little guy's voice was robotic and endearing to hear.

The robotic bird's eyes lit up like a flashlight as it scanned both Me and Hotaru.

"Ah!?" Both of us Yelped while getting scanned.

"Nugget is now your Best Buddy, Squawkkk!!" Nugget shouted

"It seemed to have imprinted on Us…" I spoke nervously

"Well at least we know She isn't a threat." Hotaru giggled.

I don't know if this bird was dangerous or not but as of right now it really was the only one Me and Hotaru can reliably trust. We really didn wanted to stay in this dark office any longer so I got up and headed for the exit

"Hotaru, Let's get out of here already, I need to stretch my feet." I said tiredly.

"Oh? Sure! C'mere Nugget." She accepted my proposal to go for a walk as Nugget landed on Hotaru's shoulder, Nugget followed Her command which looked really cute.

We finally got out of the Captain's Private Quarters which was starting to creep Me out and what We saw wasn't Okinawa Prefecture. It looked like the ship was on top of a large rocky platform in a lagoon and what I can only describe as an endless ocean.

"How did this happen to us…!?" I thought to myself full of curiosity as I gazed upon the sunset occurring at the horizon of endless waves and seas with my childhood Best friend and our Robotic companion.

Hotaru pointed out the nearby beach as it seemed to have a town although it wasn't the resort We were at

"This isn't Okinawa prefecture," I said as my voice trembled

"Are…. Are We in… In another world!?" Hotaru asked silently.

I didn't know how to respond to Her Question at all but I can only think of the mirror that sent us here.

"Are we able to get back?" Hotaru asked with concern in Her voice.

"Get back?" Nugget asked us.

"We got here with the mirror on the floor earlier," I answered Nugget's question.

"That mirror is called a dimensional mirror, only 6 exists in the world, they're very fragile and is considered collector's item, They are also unusable anymore if they break!!" Nugget screamed excitedly.

"ONLY 6 !!?" Both of Us asked loudly

"So we're stuck here!?" I yelled.

"Dimensional Mirrors are rendered worthless once broken, If that was your only one I'm Very sorry, Squaaaaaawwkkkk" Nugget said in a descriptive voice.

"So what now?" Hotaru asked in disbelief at the situation.

"We find one…. But until then….. We must survive." I coldly answered.
