Roy was startled awake by a loud rumble and soon open his eyes to see that the craft he had boarded was jostling quite violently. After gaining his bearing Roy stood up and began to approach the front of the craft where the pilots were surely located.

As he pushed his way through the door he was greeted by a blinding flash as something exploded in front of the craft in a bloom of fire.After rubbing his eyes clear he sped in through the small hatchway and approach the seats in front of the craft where he was greeted by one of the crewmen a concerned look plastered on his face.

"So can to inform me what is happening right now?"

After a brief pause, the crewmen look to Roy and informed him that upon entering Ledour airspace we were fired upon by a group of what we assume are either insurgents who mistake us for a Ledour military craft or simply don't care who we are and want us gone.

"Hmm well fine then I must ask how far are we from the drop point?"

The crewmen then told Roy that they were with several miles of the drop point and if the could keep the craft climbing higher should be able to avoid the flak and get to there with no further complications.

After hearing this Roy turned back and headed to the cargo area where had been moments before to find Indulf awake and preparing his gear upon finishing he turned to Roy and cleared his throat to speak with Roy.

"It appears that this matter may be more complicated than even we first predicted Roy so I would like to try and set aside our differences here for I'd like to know that I don't have a dagger to my back."

After taking a few moments Roy approached exclaiming.

"I refuse to set aside our differences but I can assure if I were to attempt to deal with you I'd do from the front for it is a great dishonor to strike a foe back but I will say this if you take that as a chance to strike me down then know you will be hunted till your death is brought upon you!"

After packing his gear into his bags and strapping on the equipment he brought Roy and Indulf were informed that hey had reached the drop point and were soon given to bags as well as a mask with a glass visor that sealed up upon donning them and with a hiss. Air began soon flowed in and out of them.

Upon getting everything in order the pair approach the rear of the craft was to ramp was slowly lower. In the gaps in the ramp as it lowered the two could see blossoming explosion rip through the air below the craft but still not quite high enough to threaten the craft.

After the ramp finally lowered all the way the two were then given a blue and red flare to attach to their legs so as to mark them out so they'd be able to keep visual contact whilst jumping in the dark after striking the flares ends and then the two jogged to the end of the ramp upon getting the go signal and lept out into the abyss that stretched out before them.

As the two fell at a rapid pass they soon reached the point where the flak was capable of reaching them but soon a flash erupted behind them as a lance of light skewered the craft causing it to blossom into metal and fire after which it began to plummet out of the sky with several figures leaping from the craft. Although not as many as it held at the start of this journey.

After plummeting several miles further down Indulf and Roy reach over their shoulders and pull on the cord where soon a chute opened up slowing they're decent after what seemed like forever the two reached the ground where they detached from the chutes and began to move away from their landing as fast as possible.

But soon lights could be seen swaying through the forest around them obviously searching for something or in their case someone after looking at each other Indulf made a gesture of splitting off and going around them and striking from behind. Roy turned looking around attempting to count how many people were looking for them and from his rough estimates there were roughly thirty or so which were spread out in a loose semi-circle.

Soon he turned to Indulf and nodded his approval and the two split off but after making their way about halfway they heard several voices shout and turned to see that one of the crewmen had been found and was attempting to escape only to be tackled to the ground from in front.

Soon they heard a shriek from the crewmen it appeared from the looks of it to be one of the pilots she was kicking and screaming as the figure attempted to detain here and from where Roy was sitting he could see indulf get to his feet and draw a weapon from its holster and fire striking one of the figures off to the side in the neck. Who went down with a shout but soon the figure turned their weapons to Indulf’s location and open fire causing the forest to light up in brilliant flashes of light.

Soon Roy could see Indulf move from his position darting towards the position of the shooters and upon getting within range of one swung the same steel case had before sending the figure flying with a sickening crack after seeing this Roy also rose from where he was hiding. He darted forward strike one man present in the jaw and with the momentum from the run slammed him into a tree.

Soon a skirmish broke out with no ability to figure out where the attacks were coming from they began to fire off into the dark only to be struck down by either Roy or Indulf and as soon as the skirmish had started it was ended with a silence filling the forest till the ambient noise of insects and other wildlife flooded back.

After a moment both Indulf and Roy walked to where they last saw the pilot and found here laying next to a tree in the fetal position shaking slightly.

As they got within several feet of her she sat up and slide back shouting, begging for them to just let her go but Roy just let out an awkward cough at which she looked up to see that it was Roy and Indulf which upon seeing this her eyes seemed to shine with new found hope.

She stood back up and slammed into Roy and Indulf begging them to get her out of here but upon saying this she realized she'd forgotten about here crew members and turned to try and go look for them but was soon met by the darkness that was the forest at night but off in the distance she could see multiple lights moving about.

She could also see other figures being lead away by the lights and knew that is may be too late to save her crew she then turned to Indulf and Roy disappear welling up in her heart. She soon asked if there was anything they could to which Indulf looked around then looked to Roy and stated.

"Before we do anything I think it best to find somewhere to hide her and ourselves I'd rather not be caught with my pants down around my ankles."

After thinking for a moment Roy turned around in a circle in an attempt to gain his bearings and see what would suit their purpose best for as much as he'd hate to admit it Indulf was correct it would be far too reckless to simply charge around fighting anyone they come across.

Soon he saw something that caught his attention off in the distance and found that the area began to slope down at a point after pointing it out to Indulf who nodded his approval to go and examine it further. And after gather some more supplies of the unconscious combatants the trio set off to explore whatever the area could reveal.

After silently making their way there they found that the area sloped down into a decent size cave that was somewhat obstructed by bushes and other plant life. After checking that the cave entrance was clear they left the pilot there in the cave and began to move to deal with the other insurgents inside the forest.

But soon something of greater concern reared its head as the ground began to tremble repeatedly as something large something very large approached and soon screams echoed through the night as flashes of light began to appear and then shortly disappear in the forest.

Soon Indulf and Roy came across a group running from where the screams emanated among the group were several of the flight crew as well as some people that neither of that the pair recognized but soon the pair leapt from hiding and directed the new group to the cave.

After which Roy and Indulf returned to creeping close to where the screams had emanated from only to be greeted by what would be best described as a bloodbath bodies were every in varying state of mutilation upon moving into the clearing of corpses they spotted a figure huddled against a tree trembling in absolute fear.

After making sure the area was clear Indulf against the suggestions of Roy moved to the figure to find an old man if he were to guess he was in his mid-sixties he wore a long black robe with white detailing embroidered onto the sleeves and other areas.

After a moment Roy reached out and shook the old man only for him to tremble harder in fear if he were a tree he'd be shaking so hard that it loses all its leaves. After a moment in a quiet tone whilst kneeling next to the old man Roy spoke.

"Sir you safe now the areas clear you can stop trembling."

After stating this the old man looked up uncovering his head with his hands his face had signs of wear and tear from what seemed to be conflicts long past. One of the scars on his head ran from the top of his brow down of his left eye to the bottom of his chin the left eye was mile white while the right still maintained color it was a dark shade of green almost like that of emerald.

Soon Indulf after confirming that the area was indeed clear turned to Roy and indicated with a few hand gesture that they needed to move due to the fact that whatever had done this could come back any moment.

To which Roy nodded while moving to grab the old man and attempt to carry him away from the forest clearing but the old man simply waved him off and struggled to his feet and began to walk in the direction that Indulf had pointed to.

Soon the trio was marching through the woods with Indulf and Roy's eyes drawn needle points to make certain that they wouldn't be caught off guard in an ambush but no such ambush came and soon they were at the small cave to which the old man sighed in relief and took a place next to the crewmen of the fallen craft.

But before he could get too comfortable Indulf cleared his throat and asked if he could talk with the Old man hoping to get some answers about the events that had transpired occurred.

As soon as Indulf asked the man eyes began to constrict in fear and he exclaimed in a shout that seemed to be filled with utter madness. It-I-It was a beast of horrid origins its-its eyes emitted a hatred so vile that it caused the poor few whose gaze met it's to whimper in complete despair after which is bellowed out such a-a heinous cry and charged forward turning an unfortunate group of souls it nothing b-b-but smear upon it form but soon it turned to the rest of the group letting out a wheezing breath from it nostrils it was then that I could see its head clearly for the first time it was it was canine in nature but the jaws and teeth were complete visible as in there was no muscle or skin to speak of and yet there was more to it then that it had too great wings sprouting from its back it soon flew down and bit down on some poor soul and severing him half but after that it soon began to slaughter anything that stood in its path cleaving through any and everyone and matter what they tried it was in vain for it simply shrugged off mortal wounds and as soon as it came it-it simply vanished!

But after it did so I simply couldn’t bring myself to move in fear that doing so would draw its wrath. After hearing Man's tale Indulf sighed and walked away in his heart he couldn't simply accept all of the info the Old Man provided for there were details that didn't seem to add up and for him to truly be at ease he would need at least for his own assurance check the clearing once more but put it under a more focused investigation.
