The Entity dreamed.
Dreamed of tunnels of flesh and water, tunnels of strange creatures and greyish humanoids. Dreamed of its Core.
The Hivemind had done well. Even though the connection wasn't as strong as it was in weaker willed servants, the Core remained under its control.

The Entity didn't care. It couldn't. It devoured worlds for mana, and left them pulsating masses of its servants, seeding more and more worlds in endless cycles. The Core might fulfill this role in the future, it thought, before returning to quiet contemplation.
Thinking, the Entity warped from orbit around Kairos to its home world, an empty plane of energy and massive, fleshy roots. Roots of the Tree of Immortality.
There, it saw to the construction of a eldritch monolith, made of the souls and bodies of thousands of cultists-and prisoners. Soon, it would be ready, and Kairos would suffer the wrath of a servant left wounded ever since the last war.
Kairos was the first and last world to resist it.
E'Mieron the Bloodless would return. IT WOULD RISE!
E'MIERON WOULD DO WHAT IT COULD NOT.
E'Mieron could pass the warding. E'Mieron could enter Kairos itself, and conquer as an immortal monster.
All would bow before their true God.
But first...the Monolith.
And then, the Core would receive presents very soon.
