{POV: Jona}

Feeling something heavy on me… it's almost impossible to move my left arm….

When I opened my eyes, I see Nimue passed out with her head laying on my chest… is this how one treats a sick person? I mean… it doesn’t bother me much, and I can’t help but smile at her… since I don’t feel the pressure of anyone else in the room…

What? Yeah I smile… I have expressions like everyone else… just in my old life they betrayed me too much. Specially remembering my smile at school… people usually thought I was thinking of some evil plan.

My free hand seemed to move on its own and brushed her hair out of her face, though this idiot didn’t seem to wake up….

*cough*

Making me nearly jump as I put my mask back on, I look towards the door where an old man is standing… in some sort of flashy outfit… too bright… too idiotic….

“It seems thou have awaken, young lady.” Old Man.

I can’t help but just blankly stare at him as he slowly walks forward.

“Not much of a talker…… Well this one here on behave of the Sky Kingdom, and as a Father, thanks thou for putting up with my daughter.” Old Man.

Is he some sort of king or something? And what is with the funny way of speaking…

“Oh, honey! Behave~” Female voice.

Said an Elven women that looks in her twenties that walked in while laughing at the old man… well I say old… but really doesn’t look over thirty…. But besides that point it seems this Elvish couple is the parents of Nimue….. Well not like it has anything to do with me.

“Nimue, wake up your friend is awake~” Female.

She breathed in Nimue’s ear…. And made Nimue jump quite high and kind of looks funny from my point of view…

“Mother! Why did you have to do that!” Nimue.

“Oh my… darling, you know that you wouldn’t of woke up otherwise~” Nimue’s Mother?

I tilt my head at them with confusion… really a weird bunch…

Nimue then turned to me, seeing me looking at her and before I could say anything, I felt my bones pop… in a crushing hug… ugh… so painful…

“Nimue, you're killing the poor girl” Old Man.

She seems to realize it and let’s go and looks away with her hands behind her back as if she’s forcing herself to not attack…..

“Nimue, you should have seen your friends face… when she thought no one was in here… that was quit----“Old man

“Who are you people anyhow?” Jona.

Cutting him off only made him smile…. I knew he was acting weirdly before when he talked… maybe that’s how he acts when he is around strangers?

“Oh my… it seems we have forgot to introduce ourselves. I am Caius Blue Alister, and this is my wife Emilia Blue Alister, you can just call me Kai.” Caius.

“Yes I am Nimue’s mother Emilia, and that block head is the Father… if you can believe it…” Emilia.

Tilting my head at the really confusing couple… but is also like watching animals…

“Now then, I want to know how you got a Blight mark.” Caius.

“…?” Jona.

Now that he mentions it… before I fainted, I did hear that….

“It seems you have no idea what we are talking about…..” Caius.

He seems to be thinking of something before sighing and leans against the wall, I guess to try to look cool… but fails with the funny colored clothes.

“A Blight mark is something the Undead army marks targets with, when this mark finalizes it will turn the person into an undead puppet. In some cases, the person will keep their mind and self… these people become generals for the undead army, but everything in common between generals is that they hate the way this world is and wishes to take it over, or destroy it.

To get a blight mark, you must gain the interest of a general… and to gain one you must have shown a great power to make them to want to make you theirs.” Caius.

Ah… that demon looking lady… but really she just has a sense of familiarity to me… I want to fight her and at the same time I want to make her mine? I can’t really understand this feeling; it certainly isn’t one of love… more like possessiveness…

‘It is because she has the Dusk Maidens blood, making her half flame… but as to how she was made is unknown… since Dusk Maidens are born of magic… in order to have someone being half… would mean a Dusk Maiden didn’t fuse with the real form but had a child… maybe… this is just a theory.’ Kuro.

Hmm… but that doesn’t seem like that would make me want to have her…

‘You’re a true Princess of Flames. Any Dusk Maiden would be something you’d want to command and control’ Kuro.

How… do you know all this?

‘Because I am a Dusk Maiden… the other side of you that was fused to make you who you are.  Just like Rose is the real Princess… you’re the fusion of us combined.’ Kuro.

Not possible… since I had a life before this body…

‘Yes… you did…. But really was that you… or me?’ Kuro

It should be me… I have all the memories… just like it was the other day….

‘Your life was filled with dark days, the same as a Dusk Maiden, even if you lived as a male it is the same thing, only on a smaller scale.’ Kuro.

‘Enough of this, we know that you are the real you… Kuro is the real Dusk maiden…. Didn’t you remember when they said the body itself couldn’t move on its own? Yeah… to me that mean they failed in fusion, or didn’t know the true way of doing it and used someone else to fill the blanks.’ Rose.

True… this does make sense… I’ll think about it more later.

“That Blight mark almost killed you. If it wasn’t for Nimue bringing you in at the right time, you would have died!” Emilia.

After saying that, as if she wanted to give us some time alone, she took Caius’s arm and dragged him out of the room, leaving us alone.

“So, you saved me?” Jona.

“Yeah….. I brought you hear but my family did the rest…” Nimue.

“Thanks… “Jona.

I almost couldn’t hide my smile; I turned away, but I take was a mistake because I seemed to have break Nimue’s control and she hugged me tighter then before from the back…

“I… love you like a sister, Master…. So please try not to make me worry again, we are family right?” Nimue.

…. Really now, not knowing how to respond I just could only nod… not even knowing why I felt happy about this… but I know my emotions will get the better of me and if not under check I’d eventually go on a rage again… it’s best to keep them under control..

“You’re smiling….” Nimue.

What!

Reaching up to touch my face only to notice I was tricked….

And she started laughing at me and said, “Your eyes… I can see them through the window… even if you keep that mask your eyes can’t hide it you know?”

As the day ended, I didn’t see Kira but I guess since I couldn’t really get out of bed…. But when I was allowed to drink Nimue’s blood that night, I felt it had a higher effect then normal…

So the next day I was already able to get up… it seems the main I was weak wasn’t due to the dragon power…

Does that mean it let me use it? Or at least has some more respect for me then in the game? Not like I want to chance it… but since I know it was forced, the class has been on a lock down… I’ll be able to use it again tomorrow if I need be… but the truth is I need to train in Summoner… since it is lv 1 right now…

It is still morning as I decided to walk to the library here, if there was one, but apparently the maids in the hallway showed me the way when I asked…

When I got there, I found Kira really into some book…. But when I got closer to it… it indeed was a romance manga….

Let’s say none of the ones I’d want to read okay? So let’s ignore that book for now…

We had our greetings, she hugged me tightly before going back to her book… as I went to books hoping to find one of summoning or how to level the class, though right now I guess I could summon my two spirits… and get the info but it would be better to see if there isn’t anything here about it.

Lo and behold, there was one… mostly about the devastating army the summoner Tama had at her power during the war of the Gods… and how to level it by getting more summons, and how to do so, really you just need to capture spirits of monsters, people, or eggs from the living.

Though one thing is in common, people have to agree willingly to become your summons…, monsters have to basically do the same, they have to agree to have you as their master.

As for the eggs, well that is just you have to raise them and make a contract with them…

So simply, they all have to be willing to be yours.

Speaking of which… during my gaming days I did have some eggs… but never hatched them since usually I had stronger partners in battle… they didn’t seem to come with me through my Tamer class. At least not that I know of, but because it would take too much time to hatch an egg, I will wait for later… since I remember some of them are not that nice even to their owners…

After a few days of trying to find methods, I did get two new summons; I could summon Rose and Kuro… believe it or not these two summons are a bit different than the rest… since we figured they really didn’t have any more power than I did myself, so really no different than just using clones.

There is only really one thing different… is it seems they can fuse with me, probably because they are really myself anyhow… and our fusion isn’t one that can last a long time, but doing so it seems to level the class of summoner and themelves. It takes a lot of mana though… to keep it up, making it more or less hard to move after… the most we can stay fused is like three minutes… before they are un-summoned…. However, our power together seems to be doubled… for a short time, though keeping them out normally can be for awhile…

Rose can fight like normal, but Kuro is a lot different… she doesn’t seem to be good at being physical… according to her it is because her main power is to fuse with me even not being summoned… but that I am too weak right now to use it without going into a blank rage.

Though, she has no combat value… she seems to be good at bringing in chains of darkness to bind her enemy, other than that she really has not much use… though when we fuse this way, according to her it is a weaker version, I can clearly feel more power coming out making me a bit faster… though as for actual power it is hard to tell…

Anyhow, after a few weeks more of practice, I got summoner up to level 10, and still can only last three minutes in the fusion. But it’s fine, and so we set off back to the beast area… only this time Nimue’s father decided to make us appear close to the beast capital only a day away.

I am glad he decided to do so… we wasted too much time as is…
