Furthermore, Artemis’ sudden change in personality made Deana think he was making fun of her, and acting like a prideful prick that he had been nine years ago, thinking the whole world is his just because he is surrounded by women that care greatly for his existence. However, he had seen such acts in a way that completely opposes anything these women had worked for in the years to keep Artemis clothed, happy and content with the family.
Even as his sisters sometimes starved to allow Artemis more food to consume, in order to appease his growing appetite. Even more, it is because of Artemis’ incompetence as a male that his mother had brought in a man into the household in hopes of being able to teach Artemis better.
He saw how Deana’s expression dropped to the floor, knowing full well why this sort of thing happed. “Look into my eyes.” He whispered before putting his forehead against hers, the lightning that bounced around within his eyes was captured by Deana, that was now in a trance from such a sight.
A sight impossible to see in real life, a pair of eyes containing the wrath of Zeus.
“Then forget this talk, I will clear your burden away soon.”
His bed creaked as he stood up on unstable feet, the weight of his body falling down to his feet. His mind spun for a full minute before it turned clear and he walked out the room, into the hall and put on his sneakers and left the house after throwing his bag onto his back.
