[Scene: Black screen.]
[Scene: Black screen with white text that reads “Prologue” and a couple of seconds the letters fade away]
[Scene: A first person view a blue sky accompanied by a bright sun.]
Nearby voice: “Come on! Come on! You gotta see this shit!”
[Scene: The frame changes to become a bit more open. There are two beings that are on top of what seems to be either a pile of leaves or feathers. The one that is talking, is very small at only about three feet or so. They are about as big as a large stuffed animal. It even has sorta of skin texture like a stuffed animal, complete with even stitches and bead-like eyes. It has wild dreads for hair, a small beak like mouth, and a zig-zag shaped tail. The other character in frame is strikingly similar to the Captain. The only difference is that she seems younger and are dressed in much less glamorous and prestigious clothing.]
Young looking Captain: “You do realize I was napping Zizi.”
Zizi: “Fuck nap, you gotta come see this.”
Zizi gestures his hand for his companion to follow him. Yet they still just lay there.
Young looking Captain: “I was dreaming too. It was a good dream.”
Zizi: “You’ll be dreaming about this shit, I guarantee it.”
Young looking Captain: “I dreamt that I was somewhere far away, getting comfortable, without any cares any problems.”
Zizi: “You should care about this!”
Zizi runs over to the drowsy creature and grabs her hand. He begins tugging and gesturing her to follow him. She complies and gradually gets herself up. She is led just a few feet away until she reaches the edge of site. It seems that they are up on an extremely steep cliff. Zizi proceeds to grab the edge and drops down.
Zizi: “It’s right here.”
The young female follows, she gets on her stomach and pushes her body forward to bend over. An underside belly is revealed that is also covered in feathers. There are also legs with talons and a tail that connects to the underbelly. It becomes clear that they are both on top of some kind of bird. However, there is also a large piece of the body covering the scene that one cannot quite see. The camera zooms out and it appears to be a large erected penis. Zizi begins laughing uncontrollably.
Zizi: “Look at that cut! It’s all tagged out for everyone to see! He doesn’t give a fuck!”
The young female seems irritated. Despite this Zizi cannot stop pointing and laughing at the large organ.
Young looking Captain: “You woke me up because of this!?”
The scene is zoomed out and it appears that they are flying over a large city. However, it doesn’t seem to be like any normal large city. For starters the city is mostly carved in on the mountain scape in a jungle. Each building is decorated flamboyantly, painted in bright colors, with gauche design. Whenever possible the buildings seem to be spherical in shape rather than rectangular. While there are some roads within the city, it is clear that the main method of transportation seems to be by these huge bird-type creatures the two characters are riding. As the camera pans through the city, it became obvious that every citizen is at least part of this greater “bird” family. Some stand on two legs while others stand on four. Some are as large as a house while others only stand a few feet high. Some are as long as bus while others have measure more vertically than horizontally. Some have a spikes on their backs while others have horns. It becomes obvious that whatever these creatures are, they seem to be descendents of dinosaurs. They are all dressed in comfortable attire, not too different than how the Romans used to dress, as they all have little more clothing than a robe on. The city is populated with markets, merchants, concert halls, churches, and most notably large statues.
Zizi: “Oh quit whining. We are almost there anyway.”
The flying “bird” begins to descend onto a large open square. Citizens are walking around peacefully doing errands and interacting with one another. They completely ignore the giant fowl landing beside them. Once on ground, Zizi jumps off of the “bird” immediately. In contrast, the female companion slumps over as if she is just getting out of bed. When she lands on the ground she didn’t seem to properly brace for the shock of impact so she needs a second to recuperate herself. Once she is well focused, she begins to walk through the square with Zizi.
Transportation “Bird”: “Hey!”
The young looking Captain and Zizi turn around too see the “bird” trying to get their attention.
Transportation “Bird”: “I realize you two aren’t from around here, but like any place you need to pay people for their services.”
Young looking Captain: “How much do you want?”
Transportation “Bird”: “From the distance I travelled I’d say…385.”
The young looking Captain pulls out a large bag of coins from her pocket. She begins counting them. After some seconds, she drops the coins back in the bag.
Young looking Captain: “Here.”
The young looking Captain throws the bag toward the transportation “bird” overhanded. The large bag hits directly at the center tip of the “bird’s” erected penis. Unsurprisingly, he lets out an extremely loud cry as his legs bend inwards. Zizi begins falling on the ground pointing and laughing, while the young looking Captain turns around and presses forward.
Young looking Captain: “You can keep the change.”
After a few second Zizi gets up and follows his partner. The duo continues walking down the path. Zizi strolls down the road without a care in the world. The young looking Captain seems to have her face pinned on a piece of paper. The two get a lot of funny stares from onlookers, but it doesn’t seem to faze them in the slightest.
Zizi: “Why so preoccupied?”
Young looking Captain: “These descriptions are shit. It’s like they were written as riddles.”
Zizi looks interested.
Young looking Captain: “Okay, let me give you an example. ‘On the red field painted venue-’”
Zizi: “What the fuck?”
Young looking Captain: “‘there is a peculiar object that faces the solar system’s star. Follow it to the towering spiral, then scale up the proceeding vantage point.’”
Zizi: “………what the fuck?”
Young looking Captain: “Exactly. It’s like duder’s trying to make shit obtuse for no reason.”
Just then, the young looking Captain feels something entering her front pocket. She immediately grabs it and has her hands claw over a wrist. She looks besides her and sees the sight of a terrified teenage looking citizen dressed in a blue toga with a blue hood on top. She begins to smile.
Young looking Captain: “Ahh such hospitality! Do you see this Zizi? Here we are lost travellers and one of the locals is kind enough to aid us.”
Zizi: “Truly an upstanding gentleman if I’ve ever seen one.”
The thief begins to panic, he proceeds to punch the young looking Captain with his other hand, straight in her face. Despite the clear power behind the punch, she seems completely unfazed. Her smile quickly becomes a frown.
Young looking Captain: “You people sure have odd customs.”
The young looking Captain proceeds to punch the thief, knocking him back a couple feet into a wall. Being that this is occurring at a busy road, there are many concerned and even horrified onlookers. She then proceeds to walk up toward the thief.
Young looking Captain: “I hope that was the proper way to execute the greeting. Maybe I should try again?”
The thief looks terrified as he attempts to shuffle backwards, but remains stationary being that he is up against a wall. The young looking Captain kneels down to him.
Young looking Captain: “Tell ya what. If you help us find where we are looking for, I’ll let you off the hook. What do ya say?”
The thief, clearly still in pain from the blow, nods his head in fear. The young looking Captain then jumps up and claps her hands together as she smiles.
Young looking Captain: “Wonderful! We are looking for a venue that is painted red, like…a field…a red field. Get what I’m saying?”
The thief nods his head up and down in a frenzy.
Young looking Captain: “Well, do you know where I can find such venue?”
The thief lifts up his arm and points to his left side. The young looking Captain proceeds to grab his hand. She pulls on it to stand him up and then pulls him past her. She then turns around and kicks his lower back. He turns around to see she her giving a serious stare to him. He then begins to lead her and Zizi along the road.
[Scene: The trio is walking along what seems to be a marketplace. Vendors surround the area with little shops and carts. The road they travel on seems to cut right through a mountain and shops all seem to be carved throughout the side. The carts are less organized as they are positioned in any open area throughout the road. Vendors sell things such as food (which mostly consists of different types of fruit and fish), jewelry, clothing, and works of art. The entire area is covered in a sea of people as they are busy shopping, talking, and browsing the area. They all seem to be focused on what they are doing and are paying little attention to the thief and his two captors. There is little light illuminating throughout the marketplace as the mountain covers all light except an opening crevices on top. However, the carts as well as the shops are lit up by giant firefly-like creatures kept in glass jars.]
Zizi: “Your people have so much stuff to sell and it’s all shit.”
Zizi walks up to a market stand and grabs a circular piece of clothing with two big holes in it.
Zizi: “Like this hat. Why is it so ugly! And why is would anyone wear this when it’s so hot!”
Zizi puts the hat over his head, as it is so large on him that it covers his entire body as his head goes through one of the holes. The thief seems a bit distressed as he turns his head toward Zizi.
Thief: “That ain’t a hat. That’s underwear.”
Zizi looks startled at first, then he looks down at his “outfit” and looks back up with a more joyous expression. He then strikes a pose.
Zizi: “I rock this shit better than ya’ll rock your ‘proper’ clothes.”
Zizi puts his hands hands to his side and begins to wiggle his hips.
Young looking Captain: “Zizi! Can you stop questioning your sexuality and focus for a bit!”
As Zizi jumps down from the counter, leaving the clothing behind, the young looking captain continues following the thief. After a few seconds she grabs his arm making him stop in place.
Young looking Captain: “Just how much further is this place? You aren’t just winging this are you?”
Thief: “It’s up the road.”
The young looking Captain loosens her grip and the thief continues walking onward. She follows him as she gives off a suspicious expression. Zizi follows just a few feet behind her, acting very carefree. They continue on for a minute or two. As they progress they begin to notice that the carved in buildings stop becoming markets and hobby shops and instead start to become various bars, general good markets, and living spaces. The buildings seem to be less maintained and garbage tends to be scattered about the area. There also seems to be less and less people walking about the further they continue on. Suddenly the thief stops. He stares down an alleyway.
Thief: “This a shortcut. It’s right ahead.”
The young looking Captain shakes her head as she follows him. Zizi begins to laugh as if he just heard a joke. They both follow the thief into the alleyway. As they enter the alleyway they see four other bird-like creatures just like the thief standing around. Most of them are leaning on the wall conversating about various things. The thief begins to pick up his pace and louden his footsteps.
Thief: “They playin’ tricks!”
The thief runs towards his kin as they charge toward the young looking Captain and Zizi. They each pull out their fists and unleash punches toward female. To their surprise she dodges them effortlessly. One assailant attempts to kick Zizi who responds by twirling around and dodging the kick. The attacker ends up smashing his foot against the wall and letting out a cry. Zizi lets out a chuckle. One of the assailants reaches into his front pants pocket and pulls out a knife.
Thug: “I don’t get what species you from, but I do know that everything bleeds. You messed with-”
Young looking Captain: “You a bitch.”
The thug and all the other assailants look surprised.
Thug: “The fuck you say?”
Young looking Captain: “You a bitch. Ya’ll act so tough, yet you attack me, a female, and my midget companion with all of your fully grown mates and can’t do shit. So now you pull a knife on me. Ya’ll dicks just shrank three sizes.”
The entire gang grinds their teeth, with the remaining ones reaching into their pockets and pulling out their knives as well. They begin walking toward the young looking Captain.
Thug: “I’m going to chop ya up and feed ya to-”
The young looking Captain immediately punches the thug straight in the face, propelling him into his collegues. They all fall down like bowling ball pins. They each begin to stand up and run toward their “prey.”
Gang member: “Get that bitch!”
Gang member 2: “Stitch her up!”
As they attempt to stab her, the young looking Captain kicks them across the alley one by one. Eventually a final gang member remains as he simply stands and stares at her. He hesitates for a few seconds and then proceeds to scream and charge toward the young looking Captain. She then uppercuts him as he soars above her head in the air and then begins to fall down, crashing into the ground.
Young looking Captain: “At least you got guts.”
Zizi approaches her from the side and points his hand down the alley.
Zizi: “You’re one short.”
The young looking Captain looks straight ahead and manages to see the thief who led them there darting away as he is about to get out of the alley and turn a corner.
Young looking Captain: “Motherfucker!”
She begins running at a blistering speed toward the thief, who takes a sharp turn to the left. The young looking Captain follows him just a couple seconds behind. She turns the same corner and presses on as she looks around. She sees the thief through the window of a bar across the street at the corner of her eye. She pivots and heads for the entrance. She barges through the door and comes to a complete stop to take in the area around her.
The first thing that stands out to her is the spiral counter in the middle. It looks like the typical counter in a bar, except that it spirals up toward the ceiling like a spring. However, the spiral is jagged like a jigsaw, giving each patron a space for their drinks and elbows.
At the end of the counter at the top, there seems to be an opening for rooftop seating. A mirror spiral staircase closely hugs the counter which, like the counter, also leads to the rooftop. A piece of flooring comes out from under the counter giving a seating space to thirsty patrons. The counter is completely covered with customers as there is no seat open. The bartender seems to be a bird-like creature that can actually fly. They are able to serve drinks top to bottom without even touching the ground, as they can just flap his wings while holding the beverages with their foot. It isn’t just the bar counter that is busy, the floor around it is filled with people mingling, dancing, and/or drinking. The entire bar is covered in gaudy lights form large firefly-like insects in jars, the same ones seen in the market. The jars seemed to also be filled with opaque green colored rocks to give the area a colored tint. There is stage in the back of the building with a band playing some very strange music that is heavy on drums and distorted vocals. The young looking Captain begins searching for the thief with her eyes, trying to get a visual on him. She can’t seem to find him.
Young looking Captain: “Where’d you run off to coward?”
She continues scanning the area, and soon focuses on the particular large crowd in front of the stage. She then sees a figure wearing a blue hood trying to shuffle through the crowd. She proceeds to walk in a brisk pace toward the crowd. She pushes patrons to the side, not even bothering to acknowledge their reactions. She finally reaches the thief who seems to be conversing with someone. She wastes no time in immediately punching him. His associate screams as the thief crashes into other patrons and knocking them down. As he lays on the ground, the young looking Captain stares at his face. She realizes that this is indeed not who she was looking for. She grinds her teeth and proceeds to turn around and looks past the angry crowd to see the, now hoodless, thief scaling up the spiral ramp that is connected to the bar counter. The young looking Captain immediately chases after him, pushing the crowd out of her way. As she approaches the spiral ramp, two large males, one would assume security, block the the way.
Security Guard #1: “You doing way too much!”
The young looking Captain ignores them and hops on the bar counter. She bends her knees and jumps to the very top of the counter at the roof. As she solidifies her landing, she begins to take in the surrounding area. There seems to be significantly less people on the roof then there are on the ground floor. Most seem to be casually socializing with one another, not taking too much mind to anything. Except those sitting in the bar who seem to be shocked at the young looking Captain’s sudden presence. There isn’t much for decoration on the rooftop, it is simply a rooftop and not much else. The young looking Captain seems angry as she can’t find the thief on the roof. She begins running toward the edge of the rooftop and walking along the edge to see if she can spot the thief in the distance.
After a few seconds she stops. She catches clear sight of him walking in the middle of small crowd on the sidewalk, trying to blend in. She jumps off of the roof and charges toward the thief. He looks behind him due to his sheer paranoia and becomes shocked when it pays off. He begins darting away as the young looking Captain trails just a few seconds behind him. The thief charges straight ahead, allowing nothing to get in his way. He knocks down various merchant stalls and has no problem physically pushing or tackling pedestrians in his way. In fairness, the young looking Captain isn’t much better as she literally runs over the fallen victims as if they were doormats. Seeing that the gap is becoming even tighter between the two, the thief jumps into a nearby window. Immediately a scream is heard. The young looking Captain doesn’t hesitate to jump in as well.
Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.
Resident: “What the hell!? Get out of my house!”
Despite the resident’s cries, both of the intruders ignore him. They continue running at full speed, barely catching a glimpse of anything. Inside the house are two rooms. A large room that represents a living/dining room and a bedroom. All of the walls and floors are made from rock and mud. There is a single table in the middle of the room and with no chairs accompanying it. Some feet from it is an open crate that seems to hold various fruits and vegetables. To the right of that is another closed crate that is leaking blood which (hopefully) contains common meat. There are many other items about, however they are all scattered throughout the floor. These include clothing, plates, books, utensils, and various garbage. The bedroom isn’t much better as its only differentiating feature is its single bed. There are kids sitting a few feet away from the dining room table playing with toy dolls made of straw.
They look up at the two intruders, however they don’t seem scared. The father is standing right by the fruit crate staring at the intruders with fear. The thief cuts through the main room and jumps through the next window. The young looking Captain follows him. They seem to be in an alley which is surrounded by similar houses. The thief proceeds to jump through the adjacent window and into the neighboring house. The young looking Captain does not hesitate to follow. This house has the exact same layout as the previous one. However, it is significantly cleaner as there is little to no trash on the floor. A mother and her pre-teen children sit at the table eating what is presumed to be lunch. They all shriek when they see the intruders. The thief runs straight ahead and finds himself in front of the table, he jumps on it kicking away all of the food before landing back on the floor and jumping out the window by the entrance.
A few seconds later the young looking Captain follows who manages to jump over the table completely and upon landing on the floor braces to jump again through the window. While landing on the small alleyway, she jumps into the next house. She stops and looks around to just see an elderly female reading a book. The senior doesn’t even register that she is there. The entire house is clean, minimalistic, and quiet. There is no sight or trace of the thief. The young looking Captain turns around and looks out the window down the alley. She sees nothing, but begins to hear intense yelling from a few houses down.
Unknown resident: “Rat piece of shit! Swinging on me! Get the fuck out my house!”
Two seconds after the sentence is finished, the thief is seen flying out the window and hitting the outside wall of the neighboring house. The young looking Captain smiles at the sight. The thief picks himself up and rubs his head and speaks under his breath.
Thief: “Punk bitch motherfucker.”
He pauses and turns his head toward the young looking Captain. She responds by lifting up her hand to say “hi”. She then snuffs out a laugh. The thief pauses for a second then bursts out running. The young looking Captain jumps out the window and follows. The thief runs dozen feet and takes a sharp right at an intersecting alleyway. He keeps running until he reaches the end of the alley attempts to turn to the left as the road stops ahead and takes an abrupt turn. Unfortunately he isn’t quick enough to stop and pivot and thus slides off the edge and begins rolling down a fairly steep hill. He eventually stops on the paved floor in a town square. He looks up and sees the young looking Captain staring at him from up top the hill where he just was.
She walks down a few feet and proceeds to slide down. She makes a smooth landing and then walks up toward the thief. During all of this he is breathing very heavily, implying that he is out of energy. Eventually, the young looking Captain is right above the thief, and she grabs his the part of his clothing right by his neck and pulls him up. She then hesitates for a some seconds, looking straight ahead of her, rather than down at the thief. A few seconds past and her gaze does not change. The thief then tilts his head up and sees a building with a mural on it.
The mural is of a sunsetting on a large open field, due to the sun’s vibrant color, it gives the field a red tint. The young look Captain stands up and walks toward the mural. She touches it, as if she is confirming that is isn’t some sort of mirage. She then walks around it to see various tables set outside. Upon closer observation through the windows, it becomes obvious that this is a restaurant. There are dozens of patrons inside eating and drinking. Upon the entrance is a statue that is only about two meters tall. It is a figure of a heroic looking bird-like creature with their right arm curving above it’s head and pointing to its left side. The young looking Captain turns around to see another mural on a building right across the statue. It is of variously sized silhouettes on the edge of a cliff kneeling. Upon closer observation they seem to be praying. What catches the eye, and what one cannot miss, is what is in the background of these silhouettes. A huge painting of a dusk sun. The young looking Captain then turns back to the statue and then looks at the direction it is pointing at. To her left she sees a long road with a very tall and thin carved building, almost the size of a skyscraper, in the distance.
As the young looking Captain is faced toward the road, the thief struggles to stand up. He pants and after a few seconds briefly sprints toward the alley to his left side. It is brief because he stops only after two seconds. Zizi is walking toward him from the alley. The thief freezes as Zizi walks right past him and heads toward the young looking Captain.
Zizi: “Just because I can always manage to find you, doesn’t mean chasing your ass isn’t annoying. You got me running around town all over.”
Zizi pauses and observes the area.
Zizi: “Oh.”
The young looking Captain turns around and stares at the thief for a moment. The thief is visibly frightened. She then turns back forward and proceeds down the road with Zizi. After a few seconds the thief proceeds to run and limp toward the alley.
Scene: An upclose shot of the road. The multi-colored tiles seem to pop out more than usual due to their textures and imperfection being so much more apparent up close. The camera begins to pan up until the base of the tower becomes visible. The base of the tower is pure black and is very reflective. It seems to be made of ebony or some similar type of material. There are two extremely large doors that act as the entrance to the tower. They seem to measure thirty-six feet height and sixteen feet in width. The camera keeps panning up. Soon the base of the tower ends and the material switches from ebony to something akin to bamboo. It is light brown in color, however to get a good look at it is difficult.
This is because there seems to be various designs all throughout the tower. The designs are of various creatures, mostly of their faces or body parts. The paintings are rather primitive, but when put together make something rather pleasing to the eye. Each painting is in one unique solid color. The camera continues to pan up, the tower continues, as well as its unique decor. What’s odd is that throughout the tower there are no windows, despite the humid climate. Eventually as the camera pans up it reaches the top of the tower, however by this time the camera is virtually angled 90 degrees. After a few seconds, Zizi’s back encapsules the camera and he then gradually becomes smaller as he moves away from it with the young looking Captain by his side.]
Young looking Captain: “From my experience there are only three explanations for a building this large in such a backwoods. It’s either a monument, a fortress, or a prison.”
Zizi: “Are you trying to get me to make a bet?”
Young looking Captain: “You act as if you don’t want to.”
Zizi continues walking as he puts his hand on his chin.
Zizi: “All three.”
Young looking Captain: “You either brilliant or just stupid.”
The duo continue on until they reach the tower entrance. The young looking Captain pulls her arm back and jolts it forward to give the door a heavy bang of a knock. Almost instantly the massive doors began to open inward. The duo waste no time as they walk right through the doors as soon as there is enough space for them to get through. Behind the door is a very loud and busy lounge. The room is as large as the tower’s base and is filled with dozens of patrons standing over tables organized throughout the room.
Each table is accompanied by what seems to be a host. The tables vary such as having cards scattered about or having three eggs that are cut in half that are moving around. WIth closer observation it becomes obvious that these people are gambling. The room is decorated in a very gauche design. The walls are covered in sophisticated patterns that are so elegant, they are borderline tacky. The floor is at a strict contrast to this as it is merely a cement-like texture that is painted dark green. The ceiling seems to be made of something similar to bamboo, each one is painted deep blue. Zizi and the young looking Captain continue walking about half a dozen feet from the entrance when a large tail comes crashing right in front of them.
Bulky voice: “An’ jus’ where do ya think you’re going?”
Both the young looking Captain and Zizi turnaround to find a large creature in front of them. It is clearly a descendent of a T-Rex. The creature is fairly tall, about ten feet, and stands on its hind legs. It is also exceptionally long, close to twenty feet. It’s body is filled with muscle and is covered in feathers. It has a huge head and equally huge jaws, but also has very short arms with talons at the end. A few feet beside this intimidating creature is another of its kind. Both stare down at the site’s newest guests.
Bulky doorman: “Its not ery’day we have a fresh face come in here. Let alone ones we allow to set foot inside without checkin’ credentials.”
Young looking Captain: “And who might you be?”
Bulky doorman: “Most think of me as a bounca, a bellboy, a host. But to you, I’m your transporta’.”
Young looking Captain: “Ehh?”
The bulky doorman sneers.
Bulky doorman: “I was told to look for a rodent on its hind legs with it’s doll companion. And lo’ and behold ya show up.”
Young looking Captain: “Don’t start pushin’.”
Bulky doorman: “Thought he was jokin’. Didn’t think there were creatures that look as ridiculous as ya two”
Zizi: “You’re one to talk. Your stubby little arms are so short that you can’t even reach your dick.”
The bulky doorman lifts his foot and smashes it on top of Zizi. After a brief moment it is shown that Zizi managed to be completely unscathed as he is standing in between the creature’s large toes. Zizi lets out a smug smile. The bulky doorman sneers and looks toward his colleague.
Bulky doorman: “Take ’em. I’m already sick of their shit.”
The other large doorman begins walking forward. He motions his head to the side, signalling the duo to follow him. They press on to the back of the room. The duo look around and observes the area. They notice that upon further observation, some of the games the crowds are playing are more morbid than others. These include a game in which the top of the table is encased by a dome as two small creatures cockfight, and another with a living being tied up to a wall while players use throwing knives as darts. The trio walk by as one patron manages to get a “bullseye” both literally and figuratively. The tied up creature lets out a cry. The trio goes through a door and into a large hallway. At the end of the hallway is a large platform with a single lever. The doorman walks on top of the platform and turns around. Zizi and the young looking Captain pause once they are on top of the platform as well. Zizi looks toward the doorman.
Zizi: “What are you waiting for? Just reach out and-oh…”
The doorman lets out an annoyed expression. As he lifts up his leg and kicks the the lever. The platform begins to move up as it is revealed to be a primitive elevator. In each end of the elevator there are two wheels with chains wrapped around them. The chains move clockwise as the platform is pulled up. Soon the floor disappears and all that is seen is plain bamboo-like wall. After a few seconds a new space opens up.
There appears to be a new floor that is collection of several large areas closed in by metal bars. Inside each of these areas are dozens of “residents”. Most seem to be sitting on the floor by each other in groups merely talking amongst themselves. There are no beds, seats, or anything recreational inside these cages. Just living beings. The floor seems to be similar to concrete, along with the wall. It is dimly lit by only torches connected to the ceiling. The elevator passes along a few levels, each just like this one. However, after the sixth level the scenery changes. Instead of being individuals in cages, it is rather individuals in uniform. Either training for combat or loading and preparing weapons and items.
Each floor they pass by offers them only a glimpse of what is occurring. After a moment the elevator begins to slow down. While this is happening light begins to illuminate from above, as if the three were entering heaven. Soon the elevator stops at the roof of the tower. The duo is initially blinded by the light but they soon regain focus of their surroundings.
[Scene: A large rooftop that measures around 50 x 50 feet. In front of the elevator is a purple carpeted way that spands about 30 feet and is about 5 feet wide. The entire rooftop, except the carpet, is covered by shallow water that is about four inches deep. There are various flower petals and flower tops scattered on the surface of the water, to the point that it may be difficult to tell that the surrounding area isn’t solid ground. At the end of the carpeted path is a purple boxed curtain. It is clearly made for someone who wants to engage in privacy. There are no other living beings visible on this rooftop besides an ostrich-like creature, that is standing by the boxed curtain while singing a melodic hymn.]
The young looking Captain and Zizi walk on top of the carpet following the way, while the doorman treads along to their right side on the water. They eventually reach the boxed curtain.
Doorman: “Sir! The visitors are here.”
High ranked individual inside curtain: “Fan-tastic!” *claps hands together*
Doorman: “Is it okay if I part the drapes?”
High ranked individual inside curtain: “No thank you.”
Zizi: “You’re right. You should at least wait until you wash your hands.”
The doorman gives off a frightened look.
High ranked individual inside curtain: “I prefer to make my own entrances.”
The curtains are soon opened by the mysterious being inside. Out comes a figure with its arms spread out to embrace the surroundings. The figure has pale purple skin, long blue hair, while wearing what looks to be similar to a fedora and sunglasses. They also are wearing a sleeveless shirt and pants with many patches and stitches on it. They proceed to walk toward the young looking Captain as they kneel down and sticks their hand in the water to grab a flower. They then stand back up and hand the flower to the young looking Captain.
High ranked individual: “Welcome to my humble abode, my sweet sweet princess.”
The young looking Captain casually smacks the flower out of the individual’s hand.
Young looking Captain: “I already regret coming here…What’s so ‘humble’ about this place anyway? How you of all people being treated like a king?”
High ranked individual: “So curious, but that’s what I love about you.”
Zizi: “I swear you be getting more desperate each time we run into you.”
High ranked individual: “Right, why don’t I start from the beginning?”
Zizi sighs.
High ranked individual: “After our agreement, I randomly selected a location, dimension, and time period for us to convene. I ended up here on this realm. As I explored this planet I came across an unruly group of individuals.”
[Scene: At the the edge of a lake near the shore, the storyteller stands in the shallow water. Behind him is a large waterfall that reflects off light that illuminates the area in a large bloom. He seems to be wearing the same outfit, however what stands out is that he has a large arrow lodge in his right arm. Standing in front of him on the green shore are what looks like two dozen armed soldiers.
The front is lined up with creatures between five and seven feet tall, each holding a weapon similar to an axe or a sword. Behind them are two key grips who tower at about twenty feet high and are armed only with their fists. In the back are about a dozen archers who are all slim and vary in size. But who captures the eye the most is a creature wearing fur who sits on top of a throne. The throne is being lifted up by three soldiers grabbing rods that are connected to the the bottom of the legs. They are standing in the center of the troops. ]
Leader: “Who shot him!?”
The soldiers stand silent.
Leader: “I said who shot him!?”
A slender archer from the far right of the row raises his hand.
Slender archer: “Me sir!”
The leader gives the slender archer a nasty look. After a few seconds passed, he reaches into his coat and pulls out a knife and throws it directly at the slender archer. It strikes him right in his head to which he collapses immediately.
Leader: “When you shoot, you shoot to kill!”
The storyteller begins to walk forward.
Leader: “Make one more step and I’ll have them shoot!”
Storyteller: “Aren’t you going to have them shoot me regardless?”
Leader: “That depends on how you answer my questions.”
The storyteller shrugs and and twists his arms.
Leader: “Who are you and what are you doing here?”
Storyteller: “I’m just visitor trying to find my way around.”
Leader: “A foreign visitor. You clearly aren’t from around here, nor anywhere I’ve ever been. Where are you from?”
Storyteller: “It could be best explained that I am from a very very distant land.”
Leader: “So where exactly are you going?”
Storyteller: “I’m just on my way to meet someone.”
The leader gestures his hand forward, signaling the storyteller to continue.
Storyteller: “Someone dear to me.”
Leader: “...I don’t believe your story.”
The leader lifts his right arm up and motions his hand back towards him with his index finger up. The archers shoot their arrows as the storyteller dashes toward the soldiers. He manages to dodge all of the arrows and runs up to the frontline and jumps directly on a soldier’s face. He leaps from it and flies over to one of the large creatures behind him and lands right at their knee. This leads to the large creature kneeling down from the pain. The storyteller proceeds to jump on the large creature’s head and grabs it. He quickly pulls out some type of putty from his pocket and sticks it on the creature’s neck. The storyteller falls to the ground as the substance he applies crackles pops. Suddenly and explosion happens as the creature’s head is blown clean off. Blood pours out of the neck like a waterfall.
As the storyteller stands back up, one of the large creature’s smashes their fists toward him. The storyteller does a forward backflip to dodge the attack. The fist smashes into the ground and creates a small crater. The storyteller lands on his hands and proceeds to do a backflip to where he was before. He lands on the giant’s wrist. He begins to run up the key grip’s arm as he reaches for in his pocket again. Charging up the arm, he brings out what looks like a shuriken and throws it directly at the large creature’s eye. The creature cries out in pain, as the storyteller hops off of it’s arm and back to the ground. The giant begins swinging, punching, and stomping everything in its range. Unfortunately for it, this includes its allies. Those in the frontline begin getting stomped and smashed by the large creature.
As this occurs, the storyteller rushes toward the archers and immediately kicks at their throats. At one point finds himself between two archers. As they aim to shoot and begin to release their fingers from the string, he purposefully falls to the ground, so he dodges the arrows as the archers strike one another instead. The storyteller picks himself back up, just to dodge an attack from the raging blinded creature. He then throws a few small objects toward it. Suddenly small flashes of lightning occur, which results in the giant collapsing.
The storyteller begins charging toward the leader. He takes out something similar to a knuckle duster and attempts to punch him in his face, when the leader blocks the attack by putting the palm of his hand out. Out comes from the knuckle duster a mini-drill, as it slices right through the leader’s hand. Despite clearly being in pain, he seems shockingly composed. Around him are all of his soldiers who are either dead or dying.
Leader: “Where....where you really from?”
Storyteller: “Far far away.”
Leader: “Clearly...I’ve seen lots and lots of fighters but none like you. Not with those weapons. I have proposition for you.”
Storyteller: “What exactly makes you believe that I would accept any offer from you?”
Leader: “No one travels without reason. I promise I will satisfy that reason.”
Storyteller: “Bullshit.”
Leader: “You already killed so many of my crew. What could I possibly do to you, even behind your back?”
The storyteller pauses for a moment, then begins to pull the drill out of the leader’s hand.
[Scene: The scene cuts back to the top of the tower. The storyteller has both of his arms out as if he is about to embrace someone. Zizi and the young looking Captain stare at him.]
Zizi: “Well…?”
Storyteller: “Well what?”
Young looking Captain: “Well what did he fucking say!? You can’t just leave your story linger like that stupid ass!”
Storyteller: “Linger’s just like our love.”
Young looking Captain: “I swear to god I’m going to fucking hit you.”
As she is speaking, Zizi puts his hand inside himself and pulls something out. He holds it out and it looks much like the diamond-like object Devonte picked up before. Only this one glows not blue, but purple.
Zizi: “Are we going to get down to business or not?”
Storyteller: “Ah, where are my manners? I suppose I get a little too passionate in the moment. I guess they don’t call me ‘Romance” for nothing.”
Young looking Captain: “Just give us the fucking coordinates!”
Romance: “Mmmmmm! Damn I love a feisty girl.”
The young looking Captain walks up to Romance and punches him in the face.
Young looking Captain: “Don’t think just because we need something from you means that you can spurt your shit all over us! You need this rock just as much as we need the info! Now stop fucking around and hand it over!”
Romance refocuses himself and chuckles.
Romance: “Well of course.”
Reaching in his pocket, Romance pulls out a piece of paper. As he begins to hand it to the young looking Captain, she snatches is straight out of his hand. She begins to read the paper. Her expression quickly changes to one of confusion.
Young looking Captain: “The fuck is this?”
As the young looking Captain holds up the paper in her confusion. Suddenly a large spear impales her from her back. It cuts straight through her body and through her chest. She lets out a loud scream and she falls to her knees. As she falls, one can see dozens of archers and spearmen from behind her. Zizi too is struck, but instead by multiple arrows through his back, as he lays on the floor to his side motionless. Romance walks toward the young looking Captain and kneels down to her level.
Romance: “They say many things about love. That it makes you blind. Makes you appreciate the more subtle things in life. These are mostly true, but one thing that isn’t true, is that love makes you stupid. I knew that you weren’t planning on giving me key. You are crafty I’ll give you that, but you are still a naive girl.”
The young looking Captain spits at Romance’s face. Though the spit is more blood than saliva. Despite this sign of disrespect and repugnant behavior, Romance continues to smile.
Romance: “Never change Corsica.”
As Romance begins to stand up, Corsica grabs his arm.
Corsica: “Coris. It’s Coris you shit.”
Romance: “Of course.”
Romance stands up and begins to walk toward Zizi. On the floor right in front of him is the ‘key’. As Romance kneels down to grab it, Zizi lifts up his head and spits something out which hits Romance in the face. It stuns Romance briefly. During this Zizi grabs the key and turns toward Coris. He rams into her as she flies far to the other side of the tower. Zizi continues charging toward her as spearmen and archers attempt to hit him. Due to Zizi’s agility, every shot misses. As Zizi nears toward Coris, a knife strikes his hand and he drops the key on the floor. It turns out that Romance quickly recuperated from Zizi’s surprise attack. Zizi slides to the floor, pushing Coris over the edge of the tower and they both fall. Romance looks down at the object that hit him. It is black metal orb with simple markings on it. He quickly becomes alert. Suddenly the orbs explode.
