Leaving home

Not another telepath and he either didn't read my mind or was better than the other amateur because I didn't feel anything tugging in my mind like an alert. Well, it is already late, I can let bygones be bygones.

I was too tired to look at the rest of their teammates and simply said: Well, we can stop here, and all go home."

"I am sorry, but I need to seal the memory, I know you don’t trust us, but it is for your safety.”

“What about another, it’s not like telepaths are walking around the streets.”

“Don’t worry, I will just make so that if someone probes your mind they won’t find this memory, you won’t forget anything.”

Eventually, I conceded, and they gave me a warning before leaving, Rose was a telepath doubled with psychokinesis, she uprooted all the trees in a 15 meters radius, damn guess I am not fated to be strong.

"Well enjoy your day."

And so, I came back home.

On an island somewhere on Earth.

“Professor M you saw it too, the shadow inside him was chained only by his family and another lock was rising with the image of his lover, he may be weak right now but if something ever happened to them, he could ...”

“He could reach a power level simply unfathomable, but he would be broken and would probably kill us all. But don’t worry, how unlucky do we have to be for it to happen? Go and enjoy the rest of the day with Scott.”

A while later, in a room with only Professor M and a middle-aged man, they only communicated by telepathy

‘Luckily she didn’t see it, but there was something even further back, something even deeper inside him, his core, do you remember the war against the magic and qi users, their most powerful were like Demi-gods filling our minds with awe. But even then they were in the realm of our understanding of mortals, he is different the moment "that" smiled at me my mind shook, and I felt like the world would crumble.

His will was everything.’

----------------------------------------

6 months later, school had come to an end, and I spent all my summer break with my family accumulating as many memories as possible, this week I would travel to the country where the portal with the Magic world existed, to study engineering in one of the best colleges in the world, far from my family.

Despite this, I kept training, and made some discoveries, among them an extremely painful technique, like a limb getting ripped off, but leaving a marker on someone.

The marker dissipates quickly if I don’t attach it to someone, I would have preferred to simply do it in my room, clean the blood, and then attach it to my family but it didn’t work like that.

A few days before I left, I gathered everyone for this session, I told them to trust me and to simply turn around and wait for a few minutes. They did so without inquiring, and so I started ripping a part of my mental range.

It was part of me, so the pain was simply too great, I gnashed my teeth and pushed through the pain, blood came out of every orifice on my head, I could hear drops of blood falling on the ground and so a few minutes with only the droplets’ sound making me believe that time was passing.

The 5 marks condensed and immediately began to slowly fade, I pushed to fall on everyone’s back.

I was so dizzy that I sat on the couch, oblivious to the amount of blood on the ground.

I woke up that same afternoon and from my tearful sister’s words: Mom fainted, Dad thought you were dead but checked your pulse and brought you to your bed, I also received a slap from this same sister to not never do it again, to which I answered by saying I know can find them anywhere in the world.

“But who will find you, what if you simply die who will find us? So, promise me to not do anything stupid, and don’t be cocky”

Her answer made me realize something I am not the strongest mutant, I am not invincible, but I will always have a home in this family.

Dying is not an option.

I will break my limitations.
