"Four Despair-level magical creatures... Is this place truly the legendary Abyss?" Li Sheng frowned, deep in thought. He had no idea how vast this area was. Just the three flesh mountains in front of him were accompanied by four Despair-level creatures at the canyon's entrance. How many more lurked elsewhere?
This notion filled him with unease. "I need to find an exit before they awaken and leave this place. But there's a Despair-level creature guarding the canyon entrance as well. What a headache..."
Feeling restless, Li Sheng vanished from his spot, charging forward.
An hour later, he stopped as the blood-colored flesh layer disappeared, revealing a rugged terrain of rocks. Li Sheng furrowed his brow; he had flown over three thousand miles from where he had awakened to reach this point, finally escaping the area enveloped by the flesh layer. He had seen hundreds of towering flesh mountains along the way.
"Just in this one area, there are over a hundred Despair-level creatures. How many are in the entire blood-colored flesh layer? A thousand? Or ten thousand?" The weight of this thought pressed heavily on him. The entire Xuantiandi only had eleven Grand Masters.
"If these creatures all invade Xuantiandi, the realm would surely be overturned... No matter what, I must leave this place first..."
Li Sheng collected his thoughts and floated on the rocks, moving forward. As he advanced, invisible currents of air filled the space, exuding a violent aura. Wherever these currents passed, dirt and stone, whether a few feet or hundreds of feet in size, were reduced to powder.
Li Sheng expanded his spiritual sense, carefully avoiding the path of the raging currents. As time passed, the density of these invisible currents increased. After pausing briefly, he pressed on; he knew little about this place and could only explore anything that seemed unusual.
Though this method was somewhat clumsy, it was effective, albeit time-consuming.
Suddenly, Li Sheng's expression shifted as a pleasant fragrance wafted through the air. Following the scent, he moved forward, and after a while, he halted.
Ten feet ahead, an invisible barrier deflected his spiritual sense. Beyond the barrier, the area was dim, but a small, crystalline tree stood proudly, about a foot tall. Its branches twisted and turned, with a dozen leaves resembling jade that shone with a brilliant white light, casting luminous halos.
Li Sheng's eyes lit up as he fixated on the fist-sized, bi-colored fruit atop the tree. One side was crystal-clear, while the other was pitch black.
"There's still a rare treasure here?" Li Sheng approached cautiously, summoning two celestial power orbs. One transformed into a green armor, and the other into a bell shape, enveloping him.
As he neared, the barrier rippled like water, allowing him to pass through unobstructed. Before the small tree, Li Sheng reached out to pluck the bi-colored fruit. The fruit fell into his hand, and the tree burst into a white glow. Its essence transformed into a flowing light that merged into the fruit, causing the other branches to disintegrate into ash.

"This..." Li Sheng shook his head, initially planning to take the fruit along with the tree. However, as the fruit fell, the tree crumbled to dust.
Just as he was about to turn away, a familiar wave of energy swept towards him from the right.
Li Sheng's brow arched as he turned to see a graceful figure wrapped in a red silk dress. It was his senior sister, Liu Hongfeng, though her appearance had changed drastically she looked even more stunning and regal.
The aura around her was stronger than Yan Shengjing's, and behind her followed a three-meter tall giant, who looked oddly familiar.
"Senior sister? Crimson Giant?" Li Sheng exclaimed, only then realizing that she and the giant seemed to be fleeing.
A wave of invisible energy surged behind them, a constant buzzing sound filling the air. Upon sensing it, Li Sheng's expression shifted dramatically.
Within that wave were clearly countless creatures, each about the length of a finger, numbering in the tens of thousands. Each one emanated a presence stronger than his.
If they caught up to him, he'd likely be reduced to nothing.
Liu Hongfeng noticed the commotion and flew over, her brows furrowed. Looking at Li Sheng, her expression was filled with disdain as she delicately covered her nose with her exquisite hand, as if trying to avoid an unpleasant odor.
"Ugly mortal, disgusting scent, lowly being!"
"Ugly? Disgusting? Lowly?" Li Sheng was bewildered. Had his senior sister become so consumed by her power that she no longer recognized him?
"Senior sister, you..." Faced with someone familiar yet strange, Li Sheng didn't know what to say.
At that moment, the Crimson Giant beside her glared at Li Sheng and roared, a faint red glow flickering within its mouth.
Li Sheng's expression changed as he hurriedly retreated. That was a magical creature equivalent to a Grand Master. Although its aura had diminished, its strength was still formidable far beyond what he, as a mere Master, could confront.
"Senior sister, have you really forgotten me?" Li Sheng called out as he backed away.
Liu Hongfeng's look of disgust faltered, a hint of joy crossing her beautiful face as she exclaimed, "Junior brother!?"
With a swift motion, she kicked the Crimson Giant, sending it stumbling, and then zipped toward Li Sheng, grasping his arm and saying, "Run! Those monsters are coming!"
Li Sheng extended his spiritual sense, and the wave of invisible energy was now only a hundred feet away. Realizing the urgency, he was about to activate his abilities when he suddenly felt a tight grip around his waist.
A soft, delicate touch radiated with the scent of iris flowers enveloped his senses.
The two became a flash of red light, darting forward at a speed that astonished him.
Li Sheng sighed in relief; thankfully, his senior sister recognized him. He was astounded by her overwhelming power.
"Her strength has increased so much..." he thought.
At that moment, a heavy pressure came from behind him. Turning his head, he saw the three-meter tall Crimson Giant charging forward with incredible speed. It seemed to sense Li Sheng's gaze, turning its massive head with malice. Yet, oddly, its gaze towards Liu Hongfeng revealed a hint of respect.
Li Sheng was astonished; his senior sister had managed to tame a Despair-level creature. Just days ago, she had been pursued by three ordinary Grand Masters and was gravely injured, yet now, only a short time later, her progress was astonishing.
"Senior sister, how did you end up here? Could it be...?" Li Sheng began, only to see her profile glimmering like smooth jade, her lips curling into a slight smile.
But as soon as he spoke, her expression turned cold, her brows furrowing as a killing intent spread. Li Sheng's heart sank.
The soft, white arm around his waist suddenly released him, and in the next moment, she struck him away.
"Ugly mortal, lowly being, dare you defile this princess!"
Li Sheng felt as if he were about to cry; just moments ago, his gentle senior sister had transformed into a completely different person, intent on taking his life.
The blow caused his organs to shift, and he spat out blood, but the injuries on his body paled in comparison to the frustration in his heart.
