In the majestic Hall of the Council of Gods, carved in white marble and adorned with golden ornaments and sacred symbols, an aura of celestial light envelops the attendees.
Eldor, Lord of Wisdom, respectfully greets everyone present.
— "Greetings. I have summoned you all here to discuss a matter of utmost importance."
Thalos, Lord of War, impatiently interrupts.
— "Get straight to the point," Thalos is a god who prefers things direct, without formality.
Lunara, Mother Nature, smiles briefly.
— "Calm down, little Thalos, we have all the time in the world to hear Lord Eldor's proposal."
Selene, Lady of the Moon, speaks telepathically to everyone:
— "I think it's time we start the meeting." All present confirm, except Auriel, who looks at Selene.
Auriel, Guardian of Light, taps the tip of his spear on the ground and looks with disdain, speaking.
— "We share the fate of carrying the Light to mortal beings, but do not dare invade my mind with your thoughts again, or there will be consequences." Selene then uses the universal language and apologizes to Auriel.
Eldor takes the floor, — "calm yourself, little Auriel. Let us then begin our meeting."
Eldor begins to speak. — "The world of mortals, the creatures of darkness, are becoming increasingly difficult to control. I need your help to contain this invasion. As you know, we are forbidden from meddling in the affairs of humans, which is why I have convened this meeting with the Divine Council. I propose that we vote to release some assistance to the mortals."
Thalos, Lord of War, questions. — "How will we ensure they do not spark a war out of their greed?" He looks at Eldor with seriousness.
Lunara, Mother Nature, suggests. — "I propose that each of us chooses a faithful follower and bestows some of our blessings upon them."
Auriel, Lord of Light, with a serious expression, comments.
— "We can do that, but we must set limits on how many blessings we will send to the humans, as they are extremely weak beings."
Thalos, Lord of War, unable to refuse the terms of the gods, looks at the gods and votes yes. Soon after, Auriel, Eldor, and Lunara also vote yes.
Selene becomes worried, knowing it is impossible to control the human race, as they are greedy and judge their peers. Selene, the Lady of the Moon, leaves the council meeting room, simply opening a rift in the threads of the universe in search of some powerful being to transform into her representative. She then ends up going too far and arrives in an unknown land, where she sees a small young sprout calling for help, and decides to help him.
A New Beginning.
My name is Noboru Ishida, I'm 23 years old, and I feel the crushing weight of life upon me. Since I was 15, I've been battling relentless depression, trapped in a cycle of work to support my uncle and aunt's selfish desires.
Finally, at 18, I managed to escape that toxic environment and rented a small apartment. However... I find that my life is still dominated by work, making it difficult to find time to enjoy my solitary refuge.
After a long day at work, Noboru returns to his apartment, where dust has accumulated, reflecting on his 20 hours dedicated to work.
— "What am I doing in this world, living only to work? Tomorrow, I'm sure to go out and live a normal life."
Noboru Ishida sits on his bed and looks at his phone to see if there were any messages.
— "I should call the guys to hang out, but what friends?" Ishida looks at his contact list.

— "Friends?"
Noboru soon begins to prepare for bed. With tired eyes and a zombie-like appearance, he lies down on his bed and falls asleep.
An Unexpected Encounter.
Noboru Ishida works for a company that tends to exploit its workers, keeping them solely focused on work. Because of this, he hasn't had time to socialize with his neighbors.
— "Hmm, was the day always this beautiful? It's been a while since I've been able to rest.
— "Let's see what time it is... Huh? It's already noon? I need to make the most of the time I have today."
— "This doesn't make sense!" Looking into his fridge and realizing he has nothing to do, he decides to go to a small shop near his apartment.
As he walks to the shop near his apartment, he sees some people setting up tents to celebrate a holiday. Noboru sees the people and decides to help them.
— "Hello, do you need any help?"
— "Of course, I appreciate it. Are you from around here?" The woman thanks Noboru and continues the conversation.
— "Would you like to come tonight? We'll be having a big festival. You'd be welcome."
— "Really, thank you so much. Count me in, I'll be there." Noboru says to the woman with a smile.
He then goes to the shop, grabs some instant noodles, and returns to his apartment.
Later...
— "I decide it's time to go.
Should I really? I decided it's time to start living my normal life."
During the night, he attends the local festival, but he realizes that everyone seems to know each other more than he does, leaving him with a feeling of isolation.
Disoriented and disillusioned, Noboru Ishida leaves the festival while laughter and music echo around him. Feeling lost amidst the cheerful crowd, he quietly withdraws, battling the overwhelming sense of loneliness consuming him.
The Awakening of Destiny.
— "Ah, what a headache! I really wasn't made for this, it's better this way, alone. Wait, where is this place? No, could I be lost? Ha ha?"
His uncertain steps lead him through unfamiliar streets, where shadows lengthen, and the night swallows the colors of the city. In his solitude, Noboru crosses paths with a tragic fate.
— "Stop right there! Don't move!" Shouted the robber at Noboru, trembling and with a nervous expression.
— "Uh, what's up?" Noboru approached without understanding the robber and thinking he might be someone from the festival.
— "Stay still, dude! Ah, and don't come any closer!" Brrrrat! The robber fires in alarm, the shot hitting Noboru.
— "Aaah.."
— "Aaah." Noboru falls to the ground with a gunshot wound.
— "Damn, what have I done... What have I done...? I messed up again... The boss is going to kill me, damn, I have to get out of here quickly."
Noboru Ishida, in his final minutes of life, found himself enveloped by the silver light of the Moon, as if in the arms of love and caring, where he no longer felt pain or loneliness. His last wish could change everything.
— "I want to live..." Noboru closes his tear-filled eyes, then...
Noboru hears a beautiful, sweet voice saying: "Open your eyes again!" Instantly, he obeys.
— "Huh? Where am I? Why am I here? Who is this lady? What's going on?"
Noboru Ishida was completely confused. Suddenly, he found himself in the arms of an unknown woman, surrounded by an aura of mystery and strangeness.
A silver light filled the room, revealing the ethereal presence of Selene, the Lady of the Moon. She looked at Noboru with maternal love, reaching out to touch his forehead.
— "Little Noboru," murmured Selene with a gentle voice.
— "you will carry a special light within you, a light that will illuminate unknown paths. I am here to guide you, with my love and protection, under the soft cloak of my moonlight.”
As Selene vanished into the silver light, Noboru continued to dream peacefully, unaware of the mysterious forces shaping his destiny.
The next day, Noboru wakes up with the feeling that everything that happened was just a strange dream. However, as he reflects on the events of the previous night, he begins to question whether it was indeed a dream or something more real.
— "Huh, was all that a dream? Maybe. Dreams are always so strange! Looks like the imagination is in full swing, haha."
As he ponders this, Noboru is surprised to realize that he is not alone in his room. A strange man watches him with a friendly smile.
— "Huh?"
— "Waaah! Waaah! Waaah!"
Thoth startles and begins to cry upon seeing the unknown man, but soon stops as he realizes that his laughter is welcoming and makes him feel comfortable.
— "Haha, calm down, calm down, little Thoth. Hahahaha."
The man, identified as Eldrick, Thoth's adoptive father, laughs loudly as he tries to soothe the scared baby. Thoth stops crying and curiously observes the man in front of him.
— "So cozy," thinks Thoth as he feels safe in Eldrick's presence.
However, Thoth's crying catches the attention of Sol, his adoptive mother, who enters the room worried.
— "What's wrong, Eldrick?"
— "Ha ha, it's nothing, Sol. Our little pup just got scared when he saw me, ha ha."
Sol and Eldrick laugh together, relieved to see Thoth calm down.
— "Ha ha, so these are my parents, ha ha."
Thoth laughs nervously, realizing for the first time that he has found a new family in this unknown world.
Noboru, now Thoth, then calms down and discovers that Sol Starfall and Eldrick Duskwood are his new parents in this world.
Then, everyone is startled by the door opening. Eldrick and Sol look at the door with angry expressions. They quickly identify who is there: Alyssa, Thoth's personal nanny, and Thaddeus, Eldrick's advisor and right-hand man.
— "Masters, I believe it's time for you to come with me, right?" Thaddeus addresses his masters.
Eldrick holds Thoth and speaks with a beautiful smile:
— "Have fun, little one. Daddy will be back later, okay?"
Sol, on the other hand, quickly picks up Thoth and starts talking about plans to play with him all day. She is full of tasks to do during the day, until she looks at Eldrick.
— "Alright... alright... little one, I'll be back soon. Don't worry, your mommy will be back." And she is forcibly taken out of the room.
Thoth, in his thoughts: "Phew... what place did they put me in?"
Alyssa begins to prepare Thoth for feeding. Shortly after, she burps him. They start playing and walking around the property until Alyssa takes the little one to the garden, where there is a beautiful view of flowers, bushes, grass blowing in the wind, and some small shiny creatures.
Thoth logo se distrai e fica quieto vendo aquela cena encantadora e linda. Alyssa sorri vendo Thoth tentando pegar aqueles pequenos seres. Até que...
— "Roow~ Roow~" Thoth's stomach grumbles.
Alyssa smiles briefly as Thoth looks embarrassed.
— "Come on, little one. Let's feed you, hehe."
Heading towards the kitchen, Sol emerges from a door in front of Alyssa and Thoth.
— "Miss Sol?" Alyssa speaks confused, looking at the situation.
— "Mom?" Thoth looks at his mother.
Sol notices Thoth and Alyssa, quickly picks up Thoth, catching Alyssa off guard.
— "Oh, my beautiful little one..."
—"Ma'am, Thoth is hungry. Could you feed him?"
— "Of course, you can leave him with me. I'll take good care of him."
Sol goes to the kitchen, grabs Thoth's bottle bag, and takes him to a small balcony where the late afternoon light shows the beauty and purity of his mother.
Thoth sheds a small tear seeing that scene. U
naware of the emptiness he felt, he is momentarily forgotten, and a strong determination and courage cover him as he looks at his mother. He swears he will protect his mother from any danger.
