As Asuha regains her consciousness she recalls someone catching her. As she looks around for the figure of that man and then looks at her body. She wonders whether it was a dream or not.

As she stands up words began appearing in her retina one after another. It seemed her earlier outburst caused her active skills and passive skills to be unsealed.

Who would blame her for getting angry? Imagine an angel stalking you and feeling the Goddess gaze on you from a far behind that Angel. Then that said angel ever so randomly attacks you and ever so slightly normal looking Goddess goes sneaky sneaky on you and uses whatever bullshit of a magic that locks her movements. Then with a very smug grin she walks towards you with an army of angels and tries to possess you. Of course you'll wonder what the hell is going on at first but with distorted common sense like Asuha's you'll find yourself asking about strange things less and get used to things first.

While she was being possessed memories of the Goddess had entered deep into her brain. And that's not the end of it. She gets someone's else memories showed up. If it weren't for the fact she somehow strange darkness around her appeared and consumed everything she would've been possessed.

When that Goddess saw that darkness she immediately ran away with very terrified expression. Asuha would've probably not noticed what she felt during that moment if the person calling her didn't actually mention it when she had abnormal urge to kill that Goddess.

She noticed her deep hatred and anger towards them she momentarily wondered whether there was a misunderstanding or something for a moment. But that was gone as quickly it came because she actually tried to use space and time magic to kill her. Luckily for her this VR-Game is very pretty much realized with 'reason' not 'anything' goes rules. She managed to use space rend to reflect one half of it which caused some sort of mass explosion that transferred her. She saw her very same smile once again on that face before she found herself falling from the sky.

She kinda doesn't recall much other than losing it. As she recalls that face once more she couldn't help cursing out loud.

"Shitty Goddess..."

Two voices echoes in the quiet forest. But sadly for Asuha her voice was a little louder so she couldn't hear it.

Asuha proceeds to take out an Arcana that has a golden symbol of a closed eye. She vaguely recalls the Goddess memories that she saw and her knowledge of this Arcana. This little card in her hand is supposedly one of the 7 Divine-Arcanas. They are as follows: [Love], [Life], [Death], [Wisdom], [Freedom], [Order], And supposedly the hardest to acquire [Truth].

Each of these Arcanas choose by themselves who use them. She honestly would've liked to lie to herself saying that is [Love] since she started the game for her beloved. But sadly she isn't that much of an idiot moreover why would the supposed Goddess of light go for all that trouble for it? She cursed whoever made her a Goddess of light.

"Oi. Wake up before I burn you."

Asuha said while gazing at the card with intense killing intent. Unfortunately for her the card in her hand seemed unresponsive. She was thinking that since it 'chose' her she must be at least sentinet and can possibly communicate with her.

However that silence thickened her kiling intent as she drew her katana she focused on the space with dry branches and leafs and slashed the air to gather it all in front of her. She then slashed once more to cause intense friction on it and also focused the air in other places to converge it in the core of the fire which resulted in a bursting wild fire.

As she was about to the throw the card in her hand the eye opened and it looked at her straightly

[I've seen many people do strange things but this the first time I've seen people use such an amazing technique to light up a fire. Were you really going to burn me?]

A feminine voice echoes in Asuha head. Asuha cold-killing intent didn't disappear at all. In fact it increased. She put her pointed tip of the card on fire as it catched on fire very slowly burning as she heard a scream in her head.

[You really did it! Put it out! Put it out!]

Asuha coldly glanced at the card before she spat cold harsh words.

"You were trying to lead me around."

[It was necessary baptism! You should be honored!]

"Baptism? I think 'Tragedy' is a better word for it."

[I won't argue on that but it is a necessary experience for my holders to understand!]

"Understand? In which part experiencing betrayal, torture, rape, death of their loved ones, deception, lies can make someone understand? It makes them learn the darkness of humanity and the one reality of the world and nothing more. How can they realize what you are trying to make them understand?"

[Th-That! Can you first put out the fire so I can speak!]

Asuha casually swings her sword causing the fire to disappear from the card.

[Such natural execution and genius usage of Space Rend to cause wind to disappear and extinguish fire...]

The card muttered in a quiet voice which got her a stab. She used her katana as a stake she then put her directly above the fire.

"Answer my questions. If you get too side-tracked or I think you are suspicious I'll let you burn for a minute."

[How the hell is that fair!?!]

"You are a divine-arcana aren't you?"

Asuha completely ignores her retort and asks a question.

[Fufufu~ you figured it so quickly. Fate indeed works wonders. Yes I am a Divine-Arcana.]

Yes, it is the most difficult Arcana to awaken. Now some might ask why? According to the Goddesses memories they'll experience what is called Baptism of Awakening. And that Baptism isn't quite 100% successful. They'll often die without awakening it. And those who do awaken it were all old and one-foot into their graves already. These are necessary in order to seemingly cultivate a firm resonance with the Divine-Arcana.

"Were you the one who unleashed that strange darkness?"

[That my dear holder is something a fragment of your past soul carried. Sadly though she's sealed and you too were sealed because of that part of you. So during the moment I kinda established a link between you and your fragment awareness which broke the seal to some extent. The rest was all you and her.]

"Hmm... is that all you did?"

[Quite sharp aren't you? I changed your sight a little. Disguise won't work on your eyes that is why you can see through the goddess disguise.]

In fact because of her sight that she modified she can see the levels of the instructors who no one beside her and them knows. Heck even Goddess level was much lower than those instructors. She was around level 300.

Asuha breathes as she focuses on the card in her blade and looks at it with a very piercing gaze.

"What is your purpose?"

Silence descends momentarily until a sound of laughter emerges

[Hahahahaha! Wonderful! Extremely wonderful! Truly worthy of becoming my mas-]

Before she can even finish Asuha already put her in fire. As she begins screaming while being burnt it wasn't only til a minute passed that she was out of the fire.

"Just answer my question."

[My very own existence resonates only with those who are genuine and what they do. But what if they are just momentarily genuine? will they stay true to themself til the very end? What I'm looking for is a genuine master! A genuine master who doesn't actually comes to understand [Truth] is really is!]

Asuha silently looks at the card in her blade. Embers of fire brushes past her she recalls some of her past. The Truth of her parents who thought of her nothing other than an experiment. But she won't forget the pain she had to gone through because of them. She eventually killed them after tracking them down. She accepted the truth of her being a killer.

If she had a choice between killing 5 strangers and killing 1 stranger. She'll kill that stranger. If it was between 5 strangers and 1 important person to her. She'll kill the 5 strangers. Why should she choose to lose someone important to her? Morals? She frankly doesn't understand it... 'yet' at least.

Even the people who saved her tried to use her as a tool but they failed and ended up dying at her hands. It wasn't til other people who discovered her who were the first genuine to her. They treated her as a human and they battled together and did missions to save people and protected citizens. She even fell in love with the one who saved her during one of her

They taught a lot of things so she trusts them greatly which was proven by their actions. But still she can't help but wonder who really she is? She's for one a killer, barely human, and she lacks common sense. For example...

[Of course.... not. Other Arcanas can't contract without me being awakened first. My power will then affect everything. Contracts will exist to form a certain trust between people. Of course that contract will be using my proof the Truth. And for one thing... people can awaken their souls that forms their True-selves if they really stay true to themselves like you. Even while still I'm not awakened some people out there already awakened their True-selves through their utmost sinceresty.

There are other minor things. If I were sum it up if I were to awaken regardless if we form contract or not I'll still affect everything since I'm a Divine-Arcana after all. And if we do get contracted I'll awaken and be part of you. So what do you think?]

Asuha refused immediately without hesitation.

Asuha shamelessly criticizes the Goddess of light even though exactly 15 minutes ago she was almost possessed. To this the Divine-Arcana doesn't know whether to laugh or cry.

[So what you'll do?]

"If I can't save her then kill her."

[You know you can get a lot of enemies for that. Especially her believers.]

"Well it's either them or me. Who the hell told her to get possessed? What if what possessed her possesses my darling? Me considering even to save her is just hypothetical. I don't even know if she's going to be an enemy or a friend after she's freed. There's even a bigger question... how do I free her?"

[You really are a worthy master... Well what if I told you she's actually the biggest ally among existent Goddess. She's even looks highly upon you.]

"Why?"

[You see... in your previous life you sacrificed yourself in order to grant people another life. The Goddess of light has actually found traces about your past but due to one wrong step she's already possessed by the very same thing that sealed your past self.]

[Gerald Gravelheart the last known holder of Divine-Arcana [Life]. He was passionate about living life to it's fullest. Without regrets. He fights to protect innocent lives. You can even describe him as a fool who won't back down. Luckily he has the Divine-Arcana or else he would've lost his life since numerous times. The scars on his body shows how much he fought. It is the very proof of how valiantly fought. Gerald greatest wish is for life to continue. For it has it's beauty and greatness. He died unjust death... his guardian and lover failed to protect him. But her lover didn't die without leaving her something. The Divine-Arcana [Life].

That is the moment her soul changed because of her lover's death. She changed from a [Guardian] to an [Adversary]. The worst of them all too... The [Adversary of Life]. Those people who tried to contain her fought her. They tried to possess her but they failed. They were killed one by one til they managed to seal her away. But no matter how hard they tried they couldn't possess her even after sealing her away. They wanted her power... the power of [Origin]. All that effort for naught and the price of their actions? The end of fate. That is when 'we' came to her and spent time with her.

She felt devastated to know that everything was consumed by the abyss. She's the only one who can't be consumed by the Abyss because her power of [Origin] became the [Abyss] after being effected by it for long. Using the [Death] she formed souls from the fragments of the souls in the Abyss. Using the power of her [Abyss] she gave an abyss inside their souls that supports their souls to grow stronger. They'll consume power of their Adversaries and reach a higher 'level'. Using [Wisdom] she gave them knowledge and allowed their abyss to help them to accumulate 'skills'. Using [Life] she gave them bodies to live. Using [Love] she reunited lost lovers. Using me she allowed them to see their power and growth. As she planned on bearing the consequence of moving the wheel of fate of her world once more... She discovered other worlds whose wheel since then stopped.

She decided to save all people. She built the [Tower of Arcana] and gave 50 people who made a contract to teach every 'Outsider' and help them grow. She then connected Abyss with [Tower of Arcana] using [Freedom] Arcana she allowed every soul that comes from the 'other' Abysses to be free of other worlds wheel of fate. Using [Order] she created such System for our powers to give Every soul that is consumed by the Abyss to go through what other's did. But she gave Outsider's connection to [Life] rather than giving them bodies at the cost of the power they've consumed to create balance. In other words they had the power of rebirth.

She then gave birth to Gerald child and then finally became the [Adversary of Fate] to move the Wheel of Fate. Before she formed one last contract with my power. To take care of her daughter, Arietta Gravelheart... Who later on became the [Goddess of Light].]

The moment Asuha heard of Arrietta Gravelheart she grabbed the card from her blade and looked at her with eyes that now had black sclera now.

"That better not be a lie!"

Asuha figure was overlapping with the transparent form of a woman with black horns and her same eyes.

[I have no reason to lie. She's your daughter. Oh, poor her~ she was just looking for traces of her mother but look at how did she end up. While her mother who went to move the wheel of fate suffered the conseqeunece of her actions she finally wakes up in a new life but she's long since forgotten by the masses since she forced the wheel of fate to move again... Only those who were really close to her were pardoned from this.]

"You bastard!"

[You bastard!]

[I'm fine with being called that. So? Are you going to hurry and contract me so we can go and save your daughter? Without my power awakened I doubt you can save her. Or are you the type who risks it?]

She's not sure whether she's telling her is truth. But she rather believe it than passing it as a lie because if her supposed daughter is really in danger she's going to regret it for a lifetime.

As her voice echoes the transparent figure overlapping Asuha becomes clearer each passing second.

[Very well! Do you vow to stay true to yourself from now on even when you change?]

Golden light begins to gather around Asuha as the card floats in front of the symbol of a golden opened eye to stared into Asuha.

"I vow!"

[I vow!]

[Very good! As long as you uphold this vow I vow to serve as my True master!]

Blinding golden pillar shot upwards piercing the Sky. From far away many people turned to look at the pillar as they heard two different voices echo across the world.

"Arietta... I'm coming."

[Arietta... I'm coming.]

[Global announcement: The forgotten one has awakened.]

What Asuha didn't know the lightning sparks appearing from the necklace in her chest.
