what the heck!!!?

The person looked around with eyes wide open and dumbfounded look, clearly surprised with the situation

Well who wouldn't be when seeing the familiar apartment you lived for years turned into a rather dusty, rusty, old, and ruined look in the very moment you open your eyes

This person's name is Lyr, he is a guy who graduated for almost 4 years but because of incompetence and the lack of talent up until now he still couldn't find a stable job, most will last only for months before quitting for various reasons

And as they say misfortune sometimes comes with pairs

His mother called him saying that his dad was hospitalized beacause of over exhaustion and was still lying in the hospital bed up until now

His father was a construction worker and being the head of the family and him being a useless bumm, made his father do overtime work with limited rest just to sustain his mother and siblings

His mother sobs while talking in the phone which made his mood very heavy

Hearing his mother cry and knowing his father being in the hospital deal a huge blow to him making him feel that he was very useless,

But being a good son he still try to make his voice calm while comforting his mother saying that she shouldn't worry as he is there

In fact he is not entirely useless as almost all his salary from his previous work is being given to his family living only enough for him to at least eat three times a day

In a society nowadays finding a suitable and good job is not  easy without connections so until now he still couldn't find one

After comforting his mother 

He sat in his apartment bed holding a bottle of cheap beer not knowing what to do and when to start finding money, he really feels useless and loss

While thinkiy he didn't forget to drown himself to drunkness with the beer

And so this happened, he woke up only to find the apartment being so old and ruined

The reading table having cracks and dust, the floornbeing so old and fragile looking, the quilts become rugged with dust, and the clock that stop working and covered with rust

The only thing that looks new is him

the drunkness and heavy mood made him forget to take off his clothes even his slippers which slightly made him thankful for doing so

Slowly calming down from the initial shock he slowly and carefully stood up afraid that the floor can't take his weight, his apartment is in the second floor of the building

Fortunately though the floor still stand strong

As he stood up the first thing he does is to go to the window to check things outside because of the quietness here he seemingly hear the spash of waves which is impossible because he clearly knew that his apartment building bis 500km away for the sea but he clearly heard it 

So as they say thet seeing is believing so he mustered his courage and push aside the rugged and dusty curtain
