Chapter Zero - A sort of prologue

Somewhere in the next Existence

Sometime in the future

‘No story can truly begin in the beginning…’

The Primogenitor stood in front of the group of people, of all sorts of races, right outside the circle made of tiny Ether crystals. They were in the north-western area of the park in which these kinds of gatherings were held. A large park for a smaller town. Raising both smooth, lizard-like arms and moving them right and left like a relaxed wave, the Primogenitor continued, manipulating the energy of the Ether crystals with his Soul powers.

‘....for He is without one and without end. What we know, however, as believers…’

The lights pulled from the crystals began to dance, being stuck in the air. The Primogenitor looked at them with his orange eyes with black pupils and blew over the clusters of energy. They began to spread around, moving around him in circular motions, apparently entering the Ether crystal he wore as a pendant.

‘...is that the Creator was always there… An aspect neither understood nor needed to be understood by the physical and mental aspects of the being, since…’

The lights began to concentrate more and more inside the translucent pendant, which was in the shape of a sphere.

‘...as we would find out, this is the truth. Simple, yet immutable. The issue arises with the ‘how’, because…’

More and more lights started filling his pendant, making some of the people blink in reaction. However, the light was not unbearable. It was warm, smooth, and welcoming.

‘...no two beings are completely the same. They may be similar in some aspects, or most. But not all. Because one of the great gifts of His will - apart from our own free will - was that of uniqueness, and so…’

The lights spread out in an explosion of harmless energy, which caressed the bodies, minds, and souls of the ones there. Then, the lights became stationary, each of them with a certain position in the large yard, between the people.

‘...Existence itself was born. A truly wondrous creation, for…’

The wide eyes of the individuals there were bringing a smile to the Primogenitor’s face. He then moved his strong and elegant arms in a harmonious pattern, making the small but strong spheres move above him.

‘...we have never seen such diversity of good elsewhere. For, of course, we know of no other Creator, but the one that made us. But even in our imagination, which is believed to be limitless…’

The lights began to dim, slowly taking their place above his head.

‘...we can see no such goodness. For he is truly infinite, and, what’s more…’

The lights all began to fade, except for one, directly above the Primogenitor, but a bit to his right. He used his Initiatic powers again, but this time to draw the sphere of energy towards him, right into his open palm. The sphere itself was no larger than the length of his hand, and as he looked at it, the light began to intensify itself again. This time it was a beautiful white, calm and soothing.

‘...he chose to let his Essence be, to be found by the right people. For the Choice to be made. A Choice for an endlessness of souls…’

The ball of light started expanding slowly, and the Primogenitor reversed the process of intensifying it, the sphere losing part of the power with which it was shining as it was growing. When it was as large in diameter as the Primogenitor, he stopped the growth and let different, smaller clusters of energy, inside of it, appear.

‘...souls that have awaited for long - too long of a time, for that exact Choice to be made. And it came through a pure, crystal experience, which formed across countless existences, just…’

The sphere began to dissipate as the focus began to be on the center of it. There, the symbol of infinity began to form.

‘...like this one. And so… This story’s inception is in a world, just like the one we’re on, with people just like the ones in front of me…’

The lights forming the universe jumped in all directions, enveloping the people in there, creating a sense of discovery of the mystic and mysterious. The children watching were joyous, trying to catch the tiny pieces of harmless energy which were going through their hands. That is until they all returned in front of the Primogenitor to reinforce the symbol of infinity, making it larger and brighter. He extended his right hand and ‘picked’ a light from it, right from the middle. The little globe of light was in his palms, more material than before. He looked at the crowd, which became even more numerous, and tapped on the light bead. It immediately ‘exploded’ into images, coloring the environment for around 10 meters. The children were ecstatic and the grown-ups were surprised. He, on the other hand, was calm, but with a smile on his face.

‘Now… Shall we begin?’
