It baffled me how I could not feel tiredness or hunger. Was it because my whole being was dead focused on the idea of surviving?

Even when I wanted to pause for a second, my grave fear kept pushing me to keep going no matter what.

The sun was starting to set. It was getting darker and darker on the path I was going through. The jungle haze was starting to get thicker as I traveled. Tall, unfamiliar trees were scattered all around this jungle, and I was doing my best to dodge every obstacle that would decrease my speed. The tickling scent of mosses in this place was making me sneeze from time to time.
