CHAPTER 1 – SAFE ESCAPE
There have been times in my life that I stop and think, ‘maybe I shouldn’t be doing this?’, however, I've ignored my own advice just as often. So far it has worked out perfectly fine. Sure there have been cases of severe blood loss and complete and utter mental collapse, but I always bounced back. Somehow though I don't think I'm getting out of this one alive.
Over the past 20 years, I have developed my body into a weapon that rivals the toughest of beasts. Skin durable enough to defend against a boat thrown at extreme speeds. Senses sharp enough to find anything within one kilometre. Bones dense enough to support bridges. Muscles compact enough to crush rocks in my bare hands. Reflexes quick enough to catch individual raindrops.
The number of people that could take me in a fight can be counted on my left hand. Despite only being 5'9 with an average build I can be considered one of the apex predators in this world. According to my status screen, I am in the top 1%.
Even though I am strong, even though I am smart, even though I had a plan; I will die today. At the ripe age of 20, I have no one I can spare my last thoughts on.
As far as my enhanced eyes can see enemies surround me. Their formation is spotless without a glimpse of weakness. Everywhere I look I see eyes filled with blood lust. Every hand in the vicinity holds my life in it. Millions of people from every race surround me in hopes to corrupt my mind. Everyone in this world supports one agenda except me. The world is at peace. Nobody is left out and everybody has a role except me. I am the black sheep of the world.
"Give it up, George. Accept the ancient one and you will no longer be alone. Abandon these chains that hold you back while we all roam free. Take a breath and live."

Every mouth opens and closed as one. Every tongue shifted as the syllables flowed and pierced the cold air. With a shaky sigh, I open my status screen to use the forbidden skill. No matter who you met or where you went you would hear the same thing. The 'Self Destruct' skill was never to be used. Using my eyes I scroll down to the bottom of my long skill list; with each movement, my life gets closer to the end.
Weapons lurch desperately towards me in an attempt to halt my attempts even at the cost of my life. Closing my eyes for a brief millisecond I activate it. A loud wail splits the air as a cloud of white breath covers the faces of everything. With one final corny quip, I accept my death.
"It has been a blast, Asshole."

A tug in my hair and a pop in my ears cause me to open my eyes. Pure energy streams and screams through my body. Even though I should be feeling pain as my body is ripped apart and shred into nothing I can't help, but feel nothing. Eyes wide, I look around in awe as my body is thrown through space. Never before had I believed I would step into the realm that the gods reside in.
Within seconds I was crashing directly into the surface of another planet. From the outside, the planet looked beautiful. Large bodies of perfect blue water hugging lush green land, topped off with a layer of clouds for protection. A large crack filled the surrounding area as I landed on the ground.
Focusing my mind I quickly suppress the shock and fear running through my body to asses the situation around me.
Large humanoid creatures trudge around me without a care in the world. Humans in what appear to be forest green cloaks and some form of improved belt dangle from their mouths. Blood stains the floor in an attempt to dye the planet itself. A slow trickle of the thick substance dribble down the large creatures chins.
Turning around I find large blue eyes peering into mine. Normally those eyes would shine and bring hope to anyone who sees them, but all they showed at the moment was a hollow feeling of death and determination. Blonde hair sways in the wind despite being slightly restrained by the blood. A raw stump dangles lifelessly on the left side of the male.
Body walking on instinct with long and confident strides I reach the man who was only 10 metes away. Slowly as if to show I meant no harm I extended my hand towards the man on the floor. Blue eyes track every movement until they settle back on my face. Using as much willpower as I can muster I smile through the impossible amount of emotions bashing around in my head.
"Fighting is my game, George is my name. How about we get you up so you can tell me what the fuck is going on?"
