Chapter 1

After a tiring and uneventful day, Miller laid down on his bed and closed his tired eyes. The yellow light of the incandescent coming from his night lamp seeped onto his already closed eyes, lulling him into his sleep. Wind rustling and the sound of chimes hanged beside his curtain dancing filled his ears as he fall asleep. When suddenly, a sound jolted him from his sleep.

ZZZAAAAAPPP!!!

What the eff is that?

Miller tried with great effort to open his eyes but nothing happened. He tried to move his body but failed, as if his body was nailed on his bed or a demon was sitting on him to keep him from moving. Surrounded with the ever blindingly shadows, Miller tried to locate where the sound came from. There's no light indicating where that electric shock came from, nor there are smoke or burning smell.

ZZZAAAPPPP!!!

He doesn't know what's going but he can faintly feel the tingling sensation in his body. He can feel the sensation crawling up all over his body and concentrating on his chest. Now slowly regaining his senses, Miller tried to move his fingers and succeeded only to see his fingers slowly being crushed by pressure. It must be the orchestration of the electric shock because while being crushed, Miller doesn't feel any pain. He feels numb while the pressure crushed his whole body.

The whole room was still - moonlight raining through his window, wind carressing his curtains, and his messy bed that experienced the pressure that was brought to Miller. All things remain the same except that Miller disappeared into a void.

----------------------------------------

Miller didnt know how long he was electrocuted, pressurized and pulverized but he seemed to have a long dream. A vast blue sky and a bundle of cotton-like clouds greeted his vision when he opened his eyes. He felt that he was flying, though his eyes were still blurry he can see and feel that he was above the cerulean ocean. He continued to fly 'til he saw a large island. Large emerald and tall verdant trees occupied the whole island and its leaves covered it leaving no ground to be seen.

Just by the size of the tree, Miller can somehow tell that this island is no yet discovered by any man and is unoccupied. The island is rich with trees and fruits but he still haven't seen any animals or bird yet. Miller felt his body stopped flying when they reached a deep valley with a giant tree on the middle. This giant tree seemed to be the middle of the island. Miller felt the rustle of the wind on his ear carrying a soft murmur.

INITIA NOVA

Miller can't quite catch the murmur but he felt something tug at his body. A slender stem trailed and crept aroud his body and slowly brought him to the giant tree. Miller can't point it out. He can't feel anything, physically and mentally.

This tale has been unlawfully obtained from Royal Road. If you discover it on Amazon, kindly report it.

But the vines seem to be celebrating as they all slowly wrap around me, making me and the giant tree exist as one.

As contrary to my expectations that the inside of the tree is just dark and woody place, the inside of the tree is quite breathtaking as it is surrounder by glowing rocks and illuminiscent flowers. The light on the rock is like a pulse, staying on tune with the beat of my heart. Just like how a heart beats and delivers the blood all over the body. The island took on that role and started giving its life to miller. Various trees rapidly shrunk and its verdant and emerald leaves withered and left no traces. All the trees disappeared in a blink and offered its life to Miller with a purpose.

Miller's body which was a human body shifted and changed. His human body shifted into a pink bipedal body. His black and brown eyes turned into large blue eyes. His face became rounded, with a snout and triangular ears just like a cat. His arms were replaced with short arms with three-fingered paws and he seemed to grow a tail. Blue energy surged from his body and he disappeared as the island crumbled.

----------------------------------------

Miller made an effort and tried to open his eyes. Seeing the wooden ceiling and unfamiliar room, he was at lost. Because this is not his room. The room is not rich 'rich' but the room is not shabby. Wooden ceiling and a chandelier, a bookshelf brimming with books on the side and an owl. Just when Miller was about to get up, the owl cooed and the door of the room suddenly opened.

'Oh Merlin's white beard! Boy, you finally woke up!'

The guy with an unkempt brown hair and hazel eyes walked towards me with a worried expression.

'I was just about to go outside when I saw you, a pink haired boy lying just in front of the house. Are you okay?'

The man asked worriedly albeit awkwardly. The man seemed to be not used at social interactions based on his darting eyes and insistence on not looking at me. Or maybe I just looked unsightly right now. Wait- pink hair?

I looked around and saw myself on the mirror. Seeing the pink hair and my now blue eyes, countless informations suddenly flooded my mind and felt that it might burst. Seeing the island, the trees, the giant tree and all of it withered and I became a mew.

A mew.

I am Mew.

Then suddenly, I heard a voice suddenly.

Mew, the New Species Pokemon.

A psychic type pokemon. Its DNA is said to contain the genetic codes of all Pokémon, so it can use all kinds of techniques. Because it can use all kinds of moves, many scientists believe Mew to be the ancestor of Pokémon. It is so rare that it is still said to be a mirage by many experts. Only a few people have seen it worldwide.

A pokedex entry?

Just when Miller was thinking about what was happening, a table appeared again in his mind.

The system is being loaded to the Host and is being binded.
