For a while now, I knew this would be happening. I've been dreading this moment and it came sooner than expected. The sad truth is that I can't keep up with updating the novel as regularly as I have been recently. While it was a weekly/bi-weekly update, due to issues IRL, I had to make a choice: whether to update monthly (or rather every 40 days) or maintain a weekly update but at a smaller chapter size.
As a fellow reader and fan of light novels/webnovels, I know how jarring it is to read a novel that's updated every month or so. The whole going back and reading a previous chapter just to remember a character from 4 chapters before is ... well, a pain in the ass. That's why I made the choice to shorten the chapters.

From now on, chapters will be released in segments. For example, chapter 1 will be released as chapter 1.1, then 1.2, 1.3, and so on until chapter 2. This way, I can update the novels faster and keep a weekly/bi-weekly update.
I'm sorry for just throwing this out with no warning, and I'm thankful for all the readers for sticking together.
Thank you,
Drakonous
