Hazel decided to greet everyone and be done with it because she did not feel like it. She waved at Jet and Russet who were boarding their transports already with their partners tagging long. She did not hate them but she just did not see the need to talk to them more than necessary. Knowing you would be meeting for many eons did not make parting hard. Jade had a different idea though. She had hugged Hazel so hard she felt like her insides were going to come out and there was nothing she could do about it. Jade was just so sweet to be refused anything. After what felt like forever, she was let go and could finally breath again. There was no need for promises to catch up and the rest for communication was banned outside the meet until one became a Prophesy Watcher. She quickly bid Sterling bye before she ran to their transport to wait for Gray.
This all arrangement was still too foreign to her. She had known from five Meets ago that something like this would happen. She had tried to to push the decision so far out that it had made itself. She was stuck with Gray for better for worse and for eternity. It is not that she did not like him, she did. They had been friends even if only through their mutuals. He was Sterling's friend and she was always with Jade. Of all the spawn of this batch he was literally the only one she could go into the unknown with and not feel like she had thrown her life entirely to fate. The fact that she spent most of her time in the knowledge repository meant that she even had less time to to interact with anyone. At least she had Lumin to keep her company. It was time to activate him officially and hope he was agreeable with the name she had given without his consent. Not that he could give that consent while in the Sanctuary. Until they were officially released by the caretaker, the only way they could communicate was through text. It is just she had spent so long in the conversations with him that she felt she knew him personally.

Gray watched as Hazel basically ran away from her friends. He knew she was nervous and did not want to leave the Sanctuary. If it were up to her she would have been a caretaker. He had been tempted to even fail this first game so that she could be allowed to come back and work. The look in the eyes of the black haired woman and the shiver from Ruby was enough to kick such a thought out of his mind as far as he could. If he could then he never even wanted to ever meet that Void Master guy. His thoughts were interrupted by Sterling patting him on the back. "You will be okay, right?" How was he supposed to answer that. "I hope so," was all he could come up with. Jade looked at Gray with a raised eyebrow when he said that. She went to him and gave him a hug just like she had given Hazel. Her small stature meaning Gray almost had to bend to get to her height. She then whispered slowly into his ears, "Take care of her for me." All he could do was nod his head in promise. She then turned and walked towards their transport. Gray then nodded towards Sterling and then also turned to leave. There was nothing more to talk about. They would meet again, that was a given so there was no pain and uncertainty in parting. The only thing that was up in the air is how much they would have changed by the time they met again. Unlike mortals, there as no fear of death or loss in the time they were apart.

The transport was colossal but bland on the outside. It was the height of three floors of a mortal building( and looked like one) and the width and height was the size of ten of what they called soccer fields. That was small by the standards of the galaxy especially when considering the size of some warships he had read about. This wasn't meant to be a warship, or even a colony ship. It was called a transport because that was what it was meant to do, transport them. It carried provisions for the journey and space to make sure they lived comfortably till they got there. It was also designed for stealth and was undetectable by anyone who was not intended to see it in the first place. He had read that smaller, more elegant versions had been built with time from lessons learnt from all the peoples they interacted with but this version, over seven thousand Meets old as of his time was till the one used - more out of tradition than anything. He went round to admire it before going in though what actually looked like a building door. He then went up to the highest floor using the lift. Time to meet his partner and move out. Hopefully, the void would be kind to them. They would not die of course but he knew there were things in the void that would make death a better option.
