Requirements: level 420+ players of the human race

Limits: 4000 people minimum - 10000 people maximum

Description: the royal expeditionary forces have discovered a new continent that is the home of all demons. But only the strongest can live there. The mission is to scout into enemy territory so that the humans can get a foothold in the demon continent.

HeroicPrince: we will only accept players above level 420. We are recruiting at the most southern point of the main continent at the harbour city, Lellins. We will be leaving in 4 days in real life. And will be led by the first 10 level 500 human players including me

3 days later

Tens of thousands of players went to join in on the quest while some lower levelled players just went to see the famous players that are the idols of most players. The economy in the city of Lellins skyrocketed at the influx of players, the shop owners upped the prices but they still ran out of money because of the sheer amount of loot being sold. Hundreds of merchant caravans came to sell their best equipments to the high level players going on the quest. The king hired thousands of guards to ensure that the city stayed safe in the time before and during the players left for the quest.

On the docks was a makeshift building with lines of players in the thousands trying to get to the front, there was even some elite NPC guards that had heard of the quest and also wanted to join. In the docks were 50 massive battleships that held up to 200 people, so far 31 battleships were full and the 32nd was currently being filled. This meant that so far 6200 players and NPC's alike. News reporters were here to potentially film and broadcast the quest for there own TV stations. They all new that whoever got the best recording would dominate the TV coverage of Royal Road for the next few months.

The next day

The battleships were split into 10 groups of 5 battleships. Each group was led by one of the level 500 players who activated the quest. They had reached the limit of 10000 players and NPCs the day before and had to turn away all the others. The remaining people had started to riot but were quickly stopped by the old and new guards in the city of Lellins. It has reached the moment that the ships are about to leave for the demon continent, on the 1st battleship is HeroicPrince the leader of the 1st group. But on his ship the woman to man ratio is 199:1 as the girls held a tournament to see who actually got to go on this ship while threatening any man that tried to get on or any women that cheated. The other men complained but could not do anything because HeroicPrince was very handsome, strong and constantly surrounded by girls.

As the ships began to leave the reporters started recording and the crowds started to cheer and say there goodbyes.

After constant sailing for nearly 5 days in game all of the players had already logged off then come back in when the news that the demon continent was in sight. The reason why it took so long to discover was because of the constant sea monster attacks that could easily destroy a less qualified ship. But the sight of the demon continent as a lush paradise looking island with giant cities took the 10000 person army by surprise .

But when the beaches were littered with demons corpses suddenly turned the surprise into disgust. But then to excitement like a kid at Christmas when the level 460+ loots that the demons dropped were left on the beaches.

When they got of the boats and the loots were collected they realised the extent that the death had covered, there was thousand of dead demons on the beaches but there were even more in the forests leading to the giant city they had seen. But once again all of the loot was left on the ground, this was the part that confused the leaders because loot is nearly always picked up and if it is left for too long then it would disappear. This meant that the killing had occurred recently, and by now some of the smarter players also started to wonder "what" did this.

After a few miles of walking they had easily seen over 10 million dead demons and had approximately 1300-1400 pieces of level 450+ equipment. Even though had reached the city they had still not encountered 1 living demon and the city was worse. All of the roads were coated with blood and all the demons were dead. The army marched to the castle in the centre of the city. Even in the castle their was not a single demon, but when they reached the throne room they finally saw a living creature. But the "creature" was covered in blood and sitting on the throne.... Sleeping. It's eyes shot open as the army entered the throne room, it clearly sensed their presence.

???:"eh is there more demons.... Ah no you're humans. What are you doing here?"

HeroicPrince: "Who and what are you?"

???: "hey I'm the one asking questions here, I mean I slaughtered the whole Kingdom so that I could sleep in peace"

Murmurs and whispering could be heard in the deathly silence of the throne room.

HeroicPrince: "We're on a quest to gain a foothold in the demon continent. It was given to us by the king so leave quietly!"

???: "You're pretty interesting, I haven't seen a human in thousands of years and the first one threatens me. Hahahahahah"

HeroicPrince: "who are you? Answer me"

The figure on the throne disappeared and reappeared behind HeroicPrince while every other person was paralysed by the sudden pressure. HeroicPrince is blown away and crashes into the wall before his body disappeared into a flash of light. The other players were slack jawed as the strongest player in all of royal road was one shot killed.

???: "ehh, I thought they would send stronger people. But Ooooh are these the famous immortal adventurers I've heard off."

He once again disappeared but this time he reappeared on the throne with a player in his hand, while the army breathed a sigh of relief when the pressure dissipated and they could once again move.

???: "hey does anyone here know the history of the world for the last couple hundred years"

Silence. Nobody spoke, they knew this person killed the demons and could one shot a level 500 player, that was crazy.

???:" heeeey, anybody know what's happened in the past 200ish years I have been here training for a long time"

This time an old looking mage stepped forwards, it was clear he was an NPC by the stereotypical mage outfit and the robes that said "mage grandmaster".

Mage:" I will explain the past if you tell us what happened here and who you are"

???:" ok then I accept.*coughs* My name is Andros and was the first human to achieve immortality"

Andros was interrupted by the murmurs of the players and NPCs about how he must be crazy.

Andros:" hey I'm not finished! Anyway I have been alive for about 700 years. And what happened here was that I finally made a breakthrough so I came out of my cave and found these annoying pests outside so I killed them"

The way in which he said it so nonchalantly scared the army which was only a fraction of the size of the demons and a lot weaker.

???:" hey can I ask a questions? I have been curious since you one shot a level 500, but what level are you??"

The one who just spoke was one of the group leaders, Sophia. One of the 3 level 500+ females.

Andros:" 500 hmm, is that it? Ok lets check then... Show Status To All"

Silence once again. No one dared to offend him anymore even though they wouldn't before. Then the grandmaster mage cleared his throat and began to explain the last 250 years of history to Andros.

Andros:" oh yeah you said you needed a foothold right, then you can have this city but I want you to take me back to the central continent that is my only condition"

The 9 remaining leaders got together to discuss there possible options but we're left with no choice as Andros was simply too strong.

Sophia and the others:"fine"

Andros then casted some magic with no chant or hand sign. The blood disappeared from his clothes, skin and hair to reveal his true appearance. The fangirls all screamed "kyaaaaaa" his appearance was even more handsome than HeroicPrince. He was 6,1 with a slender figure, black hair that came down his waist that had a shine that was like a mirror, big shining gold eyes that seemed to be endless and a smile that looked like it belonged to an excited child. His whole appearance made him look like a 19 year old super model not a 713 year old immortal.

2 days in real life later

There was now a new top post on the forums of royal road, the immortal NPC Andros who was the strongest and most handsome person in the whole of royal road!
