While I was walking out of the transfer circle of Elian Academy, I was welcomed by every student and staff.

“WELCOME BACK PRESIDENT!” Said the students.

The teachers, who didn’t came to the tournament, was silent but their joyous mood could easily be seen with their smiles.

Why they're doing this for me? Well, I was second place in the seventy fourth academic magician’s tournament, giving fame not only to me but also for the academy.

Someone standing behind me said. “THIS CALLS FOR A CELEBRATION! THE HEADMASTER WILL PAY FOR IT ALL!” She then raised my hand. “ALL HAIL THE PURPLE TYRANT!”

Every student and staff became more delighted and yelled. “ALL HAIL THE PURPLE TYRANT!” While the headmaster who was beside me became pale and looked at the person who did it. “Victoria!”

Are they cheering because I won or is it because the headmaster will treat us?

“Father, just go with the flow.” Said Victoria.

Victoria Nix Reiloss is one of my closest friends and the current student council general affairs manager. She’s also the granddaughter of the headmaster.

“I Agree” Said Noah.

“I concur” Said Nia.

Noah Lithe Escaria and Nia Lithe Escaria are twins and also my closest friends. They’re the secretary and treasurer respectively.

“Headmaster, I also think it’s nice if there would be a celebration, but if it’s also ok if you decline.” I said with an innocent smile. Heh, free food? Why not?

The headmaster looked at me and sighed. “If you say it that way, then I have no choice but to accept.”

Hearing that, everyone became even more delighted, while the headmaster sighed again and said. “Victoria, you’ll get punished for this later.”

The celebration was scheduled three days from now and the budget will all come from the headmaster, nice one Victoria, but I hope your grandfather doesn’t kill you....

After that, Victoria, Noah, Nia, and I went to check on someone who stayed in the student council room. A man with silver hair and eye bags under his eyes from doing all of our work for one week straight, Jecht Ralvas Edna. Leor on the other hand, went back to the dorm by himself since he was still sleepy.

The moment the door opened, Victoria jumped inside and yelled. “We’re back!”

Noah and Nia both ran into the door trying to get inside faster than the other, leading them to push each other and quarrel.

“I’m a lady so I should go first!” Said Nia.

“No, I’m the older one so I should be first!” Said Noah.

The two raised their fist and was about to hit each other, but I showed up between them and pushed them back. “Both of you stop!”

They regained balance and pointed at each other at the same time. “It’s his/her fault!”

At the same time they spoke again. “No, it’s his/hers!”

And again. “No, it’s his/hers!”

I just ignored them and entered the room while they brawled with each other. These two are always fighting, yet they’re always together, how strange....

“I’m back, Jecht.” I said.

Jecht halted his work and looked at me with delight. “So, did you enjoy the tournament?”

I walked to the side of the room and sat on a sofa. “Yes, I guess it’s fun. But it would have been more fun if you joined.”

“Not like I had a choice, who would do the paper work while you are gone?” He made a look implying that the others can't do it.

“Hey! I could do it!” Said Vicotria.

“I can also do it!” Said Nia who was at the door.

Noah then jumped inside, and said. “No, I can do it!”

Nia pulled her brother’s leg and threw him outside. “I can!”

Noah then pulled Nia’s leg and slammed her to the ground. “No, I can!”

Then it became another brawl, so we ignored them. Seriously, these two only exist to hurt each other....

“So how’s the materials we’ll use for the foundation week?”

Jecht ravaged his desk and took a document which he presented to me. After I took it, he said. “We have seventy percent of what we need, we’ll have everything ready a week before the foundation week.”

“I see, thanks for the hard work.” I said while smiling.

“Only doing my part as a vice president.” He also smiled back.

“Kyaaaa! The president and vice president are gonna kiss!”

Both Jecht and I widened our eyes and looked at Victoria. “Huh? What? NO!” We said at the same time.

“*cough* I do want to kiss her, but I don’t want to force it if she doesn’t want it.”

What the heck are you saying!? “I told you, I’m a lesb-“

“If that was really true, then why haven’t you made a move on the beautiful me?” She said while trying to make a sexy pose.

“No, you’re too crazy.” Seriously, I can’t imagine having a peaceful life if I have a relationship with you....

“That’s mean!”

Sigh, how did I become friends with her and the twins again? If I remember correctly, I met them on the third quarter of my first year. I was slowly raising a friendly reputation and became friends with them after I entered the academic magician’s tournament.

My popularity rose after that. From a loner, I became a popular student. Seriously, there are even groups calling themselves my fan club or my elite knights, isn’t that going too far? I’m not an idol! By the way, I only got to the quarter finals then, since I lost to Rowen and Loon.

Speaking of him, he’s no longer in the academy. He’s been picked as a future court magician and is now training in the castle. The next time we’ll see him is at the graduation of the third years.

For my career, I’ll either enter the magician’s guild or be an adventurer. I like the latter more, but I might change my mind in the future.

After that, we all took a break in our dorm, the student council’s dorm which is located at the back of the school building. It’s a three story building with wide living rooms, one at the first floor and one at second floor, eight rooms, five for us and three for the guests, a kitchen, and a dinning hall. The third floor is for storage and it’s divided into five, one for each of the student council members.

We let Jecht rest on the living room while Victoria and I cooked. Although I say that, I'm just an aide since I can only cook basic foods. Of course Noah and Nia were still quarreling....

While cooking, Leor who was resting on the second floor came to the kitchen with his tail moving around. What a strong sense of smell....

Talking about Leor, he’s the only humanoid servant in this academy. The others are either spirit or monster types, and unlike Leor, they don’t need to always be with their masters. Take Jecht for example, his servant is a fire bird and since it’s too big, he usually leaves it at the dorm. Victoria, Noah, and Nia have spirit type servants, which are usually in astral form and could take a physical form when they call them.

Also, spirit and monster type servants can evolve based on how much experience and affection their master gives them. It’s divided into classes, with class five being the highest and the strongest.

An example would be Rowen’s servant. At first it was a simple slime with no abilities whatsoever, but now it’s in class four, an omega slime. A simple slime is said to be useless, but his is different. It could perfectly copy any object that it scans, not only that, if it scans something with power, it also attains the power of the object is changes into. What’s more, it could even manipulate its mass, shown by the usual form it takes, a strand of Rowen’s hair.

Hmmm, if Leor can evolve into something what could his evolution be....a gundam? That would be funny, awesome, and awkward at the same time.

After we finished preparing food, it was time for all of us to eat. We’ve been eating together for more than a year now, and I’m quite happy when I’m with them. Despite the craziness of Victoria, the endless quarrel of the twins, Leor’s bottomless stomach, and Jecht's seriousness, I can easily say that I enjoy their company.

We just came back from the tournament, but we’ll be busy again preparing for the foundation week, what a tiring life....but I don’t hate it.
