CHAPTER 3: OH DEER

CHAPTER 3: OH DEER

*Black Blob of Curiosity*

Heat Resistant Armor Plating check, 4 heads check, 8 legs check, extra dense muscles check, sharp claws and teeth check. After a month of gathering this amount of biomass, I willl finally get that laser upgrade, now I must simply need to >De^0()r] c0\§UM3 +He!R FLESHH!!!

I position myself lying in wait for the right moment, and it came soon enough, with 8 of my legs pushing me forward and out of the tall bushes I pounced towards the nearest deer, breaking both of its hind legs with 2 of my heads that resembles a cat.

But 3 seconds later our monster have been directly hit by a bombardment of lasers coming from nearby deers, the armor plating indeed makes it more resistant to their attacks but in order to survive, said armor also have to cover most of its body with the exception to its joints, it made a mistake, a terrible one which to be fair it is pretty dumb, in exchange for armor it completely neglected its mobility, its muscles can only be described as spring loaded, it can only move in either a slow run or an incredible burst of speed that can only be done by locking all of its muscles like a spring; a process that takes quite a while to accomplish, meaning our ever curious eldritch monstrosity is a sitting duck.

'Ah shit, shit, SHIT, oh there goes one of my hind legs, I AM SO C|0§3 just get in my belly you stupid deer, stop struggling!! Ahk!' The wounded deer fired directly into its mouth causing one of its head to explode, then another head was lost when a more powerful laser coming from one of the bigger deers slammed directly into its other head burning a hole through it. The armor may have helped it survive longer but its currently being cooked inside-out, and so it lay there until its darken flesh melted off its armored skin.

In the Forest of Certain Death silence is crucial to survival. Stealth and swiftness being the key to being able to thrive. Birds of Prey that are invisible to the naked eye prowl the skies, a pack of giant wolves that blends in with the dark hunt under the moonlit skies, a giant feline that can create a pocket of space where it lies in wait for unsuspecting prey, snakes that can phase through objects, and aquatic predators can manipulate its surrounding water to removes ny disturbance it makes when moving; the forest may be quiet but its most certainly not lifeless nor safe.

But within this deathly silent forest there have been quite the ruckus for the past year or so, and it involves one tenacious bumbling moron and a herd of jacked armored deers that shoots lasers from their antlers.
