Clarence or rather Laurence was transported to the second trial a screen popped up in front of him

Trial twoYou must escape the cave .Your familiar must be in their passive state you may only use their abilities

Around Laurence   was darkness he could sense one thing and that was Soar  he seemed to be linked to Laurence .

“Soar what is your passive state ?”(Laurence)

“It is a tattoo  on your body?” (Soar)

“Ok then do that ,” (Laurence)

Laurence felt a warm sensation going across his back

“Done,” (Soar)

“Good how do I use your abilities,”(Laurence)

“I will implant them into your mind ,” (soar)

The knowledge started to flow into his mind and he understood all of Soars moves and he saw Soars past he had apparently  been an egg that was accidently dropped in to a dragons nest ( He have no idea how it didn’t  break) He had been brought up by an elder dragon but sadly she had passed mysteriously and Soar had now become an outcast and became the focus of the younger and older dragons bullying .

Laurence’s  heart ached he had been bullied really bad when he was in his world.

Anyway back to the trial at hand . Laurence activated night vision an ability of Soars it was really convenient  and he had a heightened sense of hearing as well.

Up ahead he heard screams .

He used another one of  Soars  abilities called dash and he got there in a split second. He entered a large cavern and In front of him were what looked like goblins fighting against some human the size of small children which he presumed were kobolds .There were at least ten thousand of each .(It was a big cavern)

He smiled “great time to test out his new abilities,” he activated his ability dash and tried out new abilities void claw and light fist the void clad seemed to weaken the soul and kill the person the light fist seemed to give too much power to the soul and it exploded into soul shards.

Suddenly out of nowhere  light and dark exploded out of  Laurence’s body .

“What is happening soar,”(Laurence)

 It felt like his body was being torn apart

He couldn’t hear Soar .

He let out a gut renching scream .

Everyone turned and stared open mouthed at him agape and they looked horrified.

When the light and darkness faded there was a figure that didn’t even look human

What used to be Laurence stood a being clouded in darkness.

He had wings that were just bigger than him but that wasn’t the strangest thing about him. One of the wings that look of an angel but the other one was pure black like that of a fury from Greek mythology.

His clothes were also split in two one side white and the other dark darker than the night sky than a black hole.

His face looked young and he looked more handsome and all his blemishes disappeared.

Laurence felt powerful he had knowledge more knowledge he had ever had. He looked at his body and clothes he was half white and half black.

He noticed the wings and he thought “I look more like a demon than God.

He could not sense Soar anymore and he knew why because of the knowledge. Soar was now a part of his soul as a familiar he could summon him but his wings would be gone.

He could suppress the wings too be smaller but he could also urn into a griffin but it was dangerous because he could lose his mind and become a mindless monster.

Laurence changed the wings to be bigger.

He tried to fly by flapping his wings but he could only hover.

He decides to use dash to get a run up and flap at the same time.

This worked but he was uneasy at the start but then he gradually got better with the help of his knowledge he had from Soar.

He felt free he could feel the wind on his face and he could smell grass ………. Wait! Grass he was in a cave he shouldn’t smell grass.

He searches for the smell and found it quite quickly because his senses were heightened again.

He exited out the hole and a blue box appeared in front of him
