I stumble across an article titled 'The History of Invokers (Revised)'. I tap on it and it opens.

In the year 2358, Invokers are essential. But most of the information we are told about them is flawed or false. This is the History of Invokers, now with new information.

In 2028, a new kind of metal was discovered. This metal was called 'Andonus'. And this metal would baffle scientists for decades. When one day during testing, the metal was touched by an assistant of the scientists. The assistant fell into a deep sleep for 3 days. And when he awoke he had gained the ability to manipulate fire. This baffled the scientists of that time.

Now through decades and a few centuries of research, we have learned the types of elemental abilities and have been able to prevent the metal from making people fall into a deep sleep.

Ever since we found out the existence of abilities and Invokers, we have discarded science and physics as nothing but 'delusional imaginations' from cowards. However, according to a new experiment, science and physics does apply to these abilities. In an experiment, when the subject was given a solution made from elements of the periodic table, the subjects' ability changed and 'evolved' into a more powerful version of itself. However, we are still not close to finding out what links these two things together.
