1: mc is an arcane mage of a lower noble family who has discovered that the arcane elemental energy that a lot of people posses can be combined

this would be able to destroy the social standings of higher nobles and for that reason he is hunted down in a last ditch effort to escape he performs a forbidden spell of soul transfer in his ancestral archives

centuries if not millenia pass by till the spell finally discovers a suitable host for the soul

and he is reincarnated in a (wolf) puppy?

2: what is there after death?

after death there is the nether...

in the nether one dreams of what he desired or feared most that which was most on his mind slowly forgetting who they are the were and so on till they are once again clean souls...

however if a person doesnt have enough desires or fears to weigh on his mind he will start seeing the truth what there really after death is nothing but a collection of souls forgetting themselves

some of these souls then decide to forget to start a clean slate

others however want to see more live more and our mc is one of those (obviously)

with all the time in the world he learns from his fellow souls (magic, qi, runes, technology,...)

and occasionally he hears some calling and finally he decides to follow

turns out its a dark summoning ritual

3: when a weapon or armor(mc) has fought enough killed a lot felt the power and desire coursing trough their bodies they gain a desire for more and with that first drop of conscience more will come from a simple desire to a consciousness and perhaps even a person

4: dreams they call it, illusions, things you see while you sleep

but are they truly nothing but illusions? are they not something more?

i think they are, no im sure but do i really want to know what they truly are?

(this is more of a mystery story if it inspired people good luck with it)

5: when all else fails one can always turn to the goddes xxxx the one who will fullfill all your wishes but in the way you regret the most the way you desire the least

6: after a life and death accident mc becomes blind he cant see things healthy people but he sees those on their dieing bed those who breathe out their last breaths those who walk on their last feet

in short he gains the ability to see death to see who is going to die soon

and when he realises that he thinks: "i always wanted to be special but now that i am i wish to be normal"

( the idea is that someone who becomes different learns to live with his difference its kinda supposed to be making people a bit more happy when reading it well just an idea feel free to twist it in any sense you wish)

7: our mc is decently talented does not have any OP items or reincarnations which make him OP thus what does he do when an OP dude comes straight at him because he looked at him strangely?

12:when someone dies his soul is sucked in a vortex to the purgatory where he will be judged however

the moment our mc would get sucked into that vortex it dissapears...

so what now? will he haunt some beautifull chicks and do xx and yy or will he get captured or something else?

13: in a very different world where magic doesn't exist there exist people with the gift. those with the gift have different kinds of powers

basically espers meet middle ages which gives several settings: church domnating and hunting espers while having their own in the ranks

war between 2 esper factions

espers daily life u know....

14: mc has a wife whose pregnant but he gets hit by a car...

when mc became a ghost a vortex appeared above his head but he tried to escape it but he cant move (he doesnt know how to in ghost form) buuut the moment he is going to get absorbed the vortex closes result ihe is there learning to use his ghostly manipulation stuff but then he notices he isnt alone! there are other ghosts out there and theyre not all sane or human for that matter

in the meantime an outbreak of ghost sightings appear and lots off bizarre accidents

demons who devour the not so sane ghosts and feed on emotion to grow more powerfull

angels who hunt demons and ghosts and feed on pure cleansed soul essence to get stronger

a broken soul cleanser(sabotaged by demons)

and mc trying to survive and protect his family from demons insane ghosts and from angels(or perhaps he gets recruited)
