In the dormitories of University A sits a young student with long, graceful, silky hair. Her hair reaches to her waist, tied into a single braid. Her eyes as clear and calm as a lake hid behind her glasses. Her hair frames her small face. Cherry blossom lips, cute and dainty.

But the warm and pretty feeling stops there.

She's wearing a baggy, out of shape t-shirt. Oversize sweatpants that are longer than her feet. Her eyes are emotionless and her expressions are ice cold. There no hint of a smile to be found. And those very same eyes are glued to her PC

The Quests in Hell's Gate. The top trending RPG game this year. Under constant updates, it never gets boring. They are being sponsored by a mysterious company that no one really knows about, but because of that, everything is of high quality.

The whole point of the game is that you have fallen into hell. All the way to the very bottom, or 100th floor. You have two options, become the king of the underworld, or make your way to heaven.

The CPU's AI's are programmed with a more complicated tree than any other. Almost as if they were played by actual humans! They also made the game so that each and every skill is one of a kind. That's why they are constantly updating with the number of people playing.

It only came out in the summer and wasn't well advertised. Nonetheless, it was still extremely popular with those obsessed gamers and with the help of streamers, it spread like rapid fire! Everyone knows the game, although they never really call it by its official name. They call it "Microwave".

Slender, smooth fingers fly across the keyboard. The sound of fighting can be heard from the computer. Flashes of light streak across the screen. Dark realistic blood sprayed across the screen.

"Shit!"

Another reason why Microwave is so well liked is the fact that the developers made it very adjustable to accommodate all types of players. Neve is playing with high sensitivity and 1st person view on hard mode. Just now, she lightly pressed on of the wrong keys causing the enemy to blind her with blood.

She was in a dark forest with withering plant life. The only living organisms are the minions of the creature inside of the cave up north. In order to pass, she has to either sneak past all of them or annihilated everything in her way.

Since she already killed someone by accident, it's already too late to avoid them.

One by one, notifications popped on the screen. Finally, the prizes and awards stopped showing on the screen. If this was in real life, she would be rich. Seeing all this money and rare items, she couldn't care less. People would have lost their souls seeing her act this way. The only thing she cared about was...

The merchandise.

Neve doesn't really see the point of RPG's that much. It's always the same storyline or goal. "Become the strongest" or "Defeat them all"! She honestly couldn't care less about these types of games.

Microwave was the only exception, however. It was actually interestingly fun to play. With all the different monsters and challenges, it was really fun. At first, she was just going to play this game on the down low but after completing one mission, on a stroke of luck, she won a plush version of the boss she just defeated.

Unlike what she thought, it was unbelievably cute. Her cheeks turned red and she couldn't stop her body from shaking. They are so much cuter than a baby who only knows how to eat and poop! (Fact: Neve is not really that find of children).

And with that, she became addicted to gaming and collecting plushie.

*ROAR*

The sound of endless typing and clicking filled the room. Even though she hasn't shown a single sliver of emotion the whole time, anyone can tell she was pissed.

She made her way into the cave but that decreased her eye sight by half. She was facing the demon boss of this forest.

Black skin with red, boiling veins popping out. An uncountable amount of teeth were packed into its jaws. Giant horns on both sides of its head. The demonized ram.

Neve is a swordswoman. She works best at close combat. So she immediately rushes in.

She doesn't even wait for the ram to finish roaring. She starts her non-stop attacking and defeats it with brute force.

"Player: Neve_rLoses is the first player to clear the 'Demonized Ram' quest! As a reward, they get....The DemonizedRam plushie!"

You could see the shadow of a smile on her face. Although her lips didn't curve up, you could tell by her eyes that she was happy beyond compare looking at the announcement.

"Looks like I'm not going to eat dinner tonight"

All she had left in her fridge were lambchops.
