I Woke Up As A Girl?!
Chapter 3 - Mum and Dad

Chapter 3 - Mum and Dad

What the heck did I just say...?!

Did I really...

"Wah! You're the best, big sis!!"

Yuzu jumped on me again, pulling me into another tight hug.

After changing body, my height was now about the same as Yuzu. It was a weird feeling, considering that I used to be almost two heads taller than her.

She was so close to me that I could smell the shampoo she used on her hair.

She smelled really good.

"Hey, hey..."

I grabbed Yuzu's shoulders and tugged her off me, feeling my face flush from all the excessive contact.

Today was the most that I had ever been touched by a girl, other than my mother, in my entire 16 years of living.

Despite my appearance, I was still a guy inside...!

"Just come inside first, Yuzu," I said, leading her by the shoulders into the house and closing the door behind her. "I have some things I want to ask you..."

"Ah, okay..."

Like why the hell did I suddenly wake up as your big sis?!

Or where is my manhood?!

But, of course... I wasn't going to ask her any of that.

It wasn't like she was going to know the answer to those questions.

All it would do is that it would freak her out.

Besides, I had already mindlessly told her that I was her big sis...

Wasn't it too late to take it back...?

Sitting Yuzu down at the couch in the living room, I faced her with an intense face, trying to think about how to best handle the situation.

"...Are you okay, big sis?" Yuzu asked with a worried look. "You look really tense..."

"Yeah, I'm fine, thanks..."

"Did you want a glass of water?"

"Yeah, thank you--"

Wait, what the fuck?! Why did I say yes?!

Yuzu got up from the couch and headed to the kitchen, and I sighed, leaning forward and placing my face into my palms.

No, no...

This was all going completely wrong...

What the heck was I supposed to even do now...?

Stolen novel; please report.

Why did I say that I was her big sis...?

Just because she cried...

...

Well, she did look really happy to have her big sis back.

And, to be honest, that made me really happy for her too.

I had never seen Yuzu like that.

She always had on a happy face at school as though nothing was wrong, but this time, I could tell that she was super genuinely happy for real.

I couldn't believe that she had actually been struggling all this time inside.

I didn't have it in me to break her heart after seeing her that happy for the first time that I've known her.

...

Okay, calm down, Taku...

Let's think about this logically.

Even if I told Yuzu that I was actually her classmate, Taku Yamato, it wasn't like she was going to believe me anyways...

I still didn't quite believe it myself!

What would probably happen if I told her is that I would be sent to a mental institution and be locked away forever in this body.

...

If I've already told Yuzu that I'm her big sis, I should just keep playing the part for now to keep her happy.

While I'm doing that, I will also try to figure out how to get her real big sis back and find out what happened to my real body.

That way Yuzu's happy, I'm happy, and everyone wins.

I nodded to myself, thinking that this was the best course of action.

The only problem then was...

What if Yuzu realises that I'm not her big sis...?

"I got you your water!"

I jumped, hearing Yuzu's voice right next to me, and I glanced up to see her plopping herself down right besides me on the couch.

She leaned her head down on my shoulder, a big smile on her cute face.

"Big sis, tell me all about Australia!" Yuzu said. "You were there for so long, you must have a lot of stories to tell!!"

Quickly, I shuffled away from her on the couch, her head leaving my shoulder.

Yuzu blinked at me with a confused look.

"A-Australia...?" I said. "Um..."

Of all places for her big sis to go...!

Why did it have to be such a random place?!

I didn't know a single thing about Australia!

What was I supposed to say...?!

"Oh sorry!" Yuzu said, clapping her hands together. "I forgot. You wanted to ask me questions first, haha. I'm such a clutz..."

"Yeah..." I laughed too. "There were some things I wanted to ask you..."

"You go first."

"Um... welll..."

Yuzu stared at me patiently, still smiling broadly.

"How long have I been away for... exactly...?" I said slowly. "I kind of lost track of time while I was away..."

"Seven years."

S-seven years...?!

So that was why Yuzu was so happy... She hasn't seen her big sis in seven years...

"Haha, of course..." I laughed. "That seems about right..."

"You've changed a lot in seven years, big sis..."

"...!"

"You used to be a lot more serious, and that was why you had wanted to go to Australia to study at a better school. Everything in your life used to revolve around studying and bettering yourself." Yuzu said. "I remember crying when I was a little kid, telling you not to leave..."

"Right..."

Sh-shit, I was completely different to her big sis! What if she realised...?

"But, I still love you so much!" Yuzu said happily, then jumped forward so that her face fell onto my lap and her arms wrapped around my waist. "I'm glad you seem a lot more happier now, big sis!"

She started rubbing her face into my thighs playfully, and I stared down with a gaping mouth, my hands raised, but not knowing what to do with them.

Thank god I didn't have my manhood right now, otherwise...

"Haha, Yuzu, that's enough..." I laughed shakily, pulling her up from my lap. I quickly thought up of another question, hoping that she wouldn't realise that I was uncomfortable with all the touching. "Tell me how you've been these past seven years, Yuzu. I haven't seen you in so long..."

"Oh, it's been great...!" Yuzu replied. "I've been trying so hard at school since you left. You've always told me to try harder, and guess what?! All my grades have improved! Everything has been so fun and exciting at school... I really wish you had been here thoughout it all though!"

I breathed a sigh of relief, hearing that.

So it wasn't as bad for her as I thought.

I thought she was really struggling inside and had been putting on a facade at school, but from the sounds of what she was saying, she had still been coping fine.

...

Maybe it was okay to tell her the truth then...

"Yuzu, I'm so happy you've been fine without me, the thing is--"

The door to the house creaked open with the sound of unlocking, and Yuzu turned her head to the door.

"Oh, mum and dad are home!"

M-mum and dad...?!
