chapter 6: Bad wabbit

After finishing the traps and deciding to hunt the bunny, I begin to search for it. first i go to the rabbit mound that i collapsed. All thats left of it is some rubble and a few stray bodies that have yet to be eaten.

[ Where is that rabbit? when i got the warning i was here, so logically it should be close.]

But no matter how much i tell myself this there is still no sign of the rabbit king. [ How hard could it be to find a 15ft blood red rabbit, in the middle of a giant hole?!] i yell cursing the rabbit in my mind.

{ba-thump ba- thump ba-thump}

[ What the hell…..]

I turn around to see what was making the noise and there it is a 15 ft blood red rabbit, bounding towards me like a frieght train.

[ god damned rabbit always choosing the least opportune time to find me!]

turning around i fly away at maximum speed, the rabbit in pursuit. the rabbit is a lot faster than me but because it bounds i have a lot more agility because it can’t move while in midair. Feeling a sense of danger i immediately fly to the side and right where i was standing the rabbit pounds down forming a ten foot crater. [ geeze..] i sigh and wipe off the imaginary sweat, this things a lot more trouble than i thought it would be, even after seeing it tear into those tenebris ultors guys.

As i lead the rabbit back to the traps i notice one thing, as i pass spirits abode i notice earth spirits watching us almost curious, but that’s not it, earth spirits are supposed to have no conscious basically, just floating balls of earth elemental essence. Thats odd but ill worry about it later. I lead the rabbit to hte hill and as it crests the hill i weaken the ground under it causing it to fall into the pit. As it falls into the pit most of the spikes shatter as the come into contact with its fur but one spears it through its side just under the armpit,but it just lets out an enraged howl and jumps out of the hole.

[damn it, that was supposed to kill it!] i growl

I fly over to cliffs in the canyons and as the rabbit crosses the thresh hold i release the earth portcullis.and the boulders smash into the rabbit's head spinning it around and smashing it into the ground. The rabbit layed there for a second until….

{ roaaar!}

The rabbit pulls itself up roaring as it does so. It keeps roaring as it crawls towards me with a defiant look in it’s eyes.

[ so long bunny. earth raise!] a barrage of earth spikes pierce through its stomach and i grin as  the light fades from its eyes.
