"Lord Juan? Why can't you introduce yourself to the village?" Neritha asked in the dark of night, as they traversed the woods to find the Twikmoth nest.

"I am a wanderer, Neritha. I am who I am because I remain anonymous and known only to you."

Dante said. The two of them were following the tracks of the Twikmoth that had escaped.

"Are you sure you are okay with coming with me here, Neritha? It's dangerous for you out here."

"It's fine, Lord Juan. You are a Wanderer and are not familiar with the land. Let me serve as your guide at least. And I have already determined that I will sacrifice everything for the sake of my village."

He was impressed with the little girl's determination and this inspired him to truly ensure the success of his endeavor.

Dante then looked at his screen.

[Healing Light: Cost -20 MP]

[Divine Vigor: Cost -20 MP]

[Guiding Light: Cost -20 MP]

"All of my common Classless Invocations cost -20 MP since they are all at the same tier. And I gave away Zylthar's Radiant Blade to Ravka so I don't have the Blessing of Silent Prayer for now. I still have 90/100 MP and it hasn't grown. That means that I have to at least 1-hit kill 6 of the Twikmoths with Holy Smite, so I can' regain 60 MP. Enough to have 3 more 1-hit kills. Then I'll have 9 kills plus the 1 I killed earlier. Then Pilgrimage accomplished, right?"

Dante thought about it hard. While they were walking through the woods with a fire torch, Dante remembered his adventure with Garek Drekthar the Holy Paladin. And Garek had taught Dante that there was more than one way to use the invocations. And that innovation and creativity in their use is up to the invocator.

The rustling of wings was heard from the distance. "We're here, Lord Juan. My uncle told me about this nest. The Twikmoths have been living here for hundreds of years. And its location is common knowledge to us. But no one from the village dares to come here."

"Why is that?" Dante asked. He peeked through the trees and saw a large mound of dirt. That had many cave-like openings in it. But it was too dark to see any of the Twikmoths.

"It's because the village has been forced to convert to the Horizonic by Wilomen Joralinda, a powerful councilor of the Council of Harmony of the nation of Serenita."

Dante heard this and doubted her for a second.

"Wilomen Joralinda the Peacemaker? That's impossible." Dante ignored it though as he thought that education and information must not travel well in distant villages like this one from the outskirt town of Minova. "But hearing that they were in the nation of Serenita had confirmed Dante's suspicion. That this land was in the Phirc Diasphere. He was at the opposite end of the world from where Rhiqualon was."

As Dante and Neritha stood before the entrance of the Twikmoth nest, Dante took a deep breath to steady himself. He knew that their success hinged on proper execution and careful use of his invocations.

Dante had finished planning with Neritha. He could see in her eyes that even as a little girl she already had a charism. But it was a gift that no innocent girl should have.

Dante ready to implement the plan, stood in front of the Twikmoth Nest, and with firm belief in the Holy System, he prayed.

"Oh Blessed Holy System, infuse me with Divine Vigor. Grant me the strength and endurance to overcome all obstacles, bolstering my physical prowess with your holy energy."

The divine energies began channeling within him.

"I can do this," he whispered, casting the invocation upon himself. A surge of power coursed through his veins, enhancing his physical abilities and preparing him for the upcoming battle.

With Neritha safe and positioned strategically for their plan.

Dante with his Divine Vigor ran straight inside the Twikmoth Nest and under the cover of darkness arrived at the center of the nest. He found an opening in the ceiling of the nest, but many of the Twikmoths had already detected the intruder.

Dante prayed.

"Oh Blessed Holy System, let your Guiding Light shine upon those who are lost. Illuminate their path, dispel the darkness that surrounds them, and lead them safely toward the embrace of your divine love."

[Guiding Light Granted: -20 MP]

He activated Guiding Light, creating a mesmerizing illusion of moonlight deep within the nest. The faint glow shimmered in the darkness, attracting the curious Twikmoths toward its source.

When almost all of the Twikmoths hovered over the Guiding Light, Neritha signaled to Dante with her loudest scream, "NOW!"

Dante prayed with his quickest invocation, sounding like Eminem.

"Oh Blessed Holy System, may your Healing Light flow through me, mend the wounds, and restore vitality to those in need, bringing your divine touch and comfort upon them."

[Healing Light Granted: -20 MP]

He unleashed Healing Light in a blinding flash. The creatures were momentarily disoriented, their movements slowed. The Twikmoths fell one by one and crashed with each other, landing toward Dante.

"Strike now, Lord Juan!" Neritha urged.

Dante reacted swiftly. Using his Gift of Discernment, he found the right Twikmoth to target with Holy Smite.

"Oh Blessed Holy System, empower me with your righteous fury. Through Holy Smite, let your divine light burn brightly, striking down the undead and evil, weakening their grip on this world."

[Warning: 10/100 MP Remaining]

But Dante did not mind this. A huge lightning struck Dante's target but it created even more powerful explosions that rippled through the group of confused Twikmoths, causing a chain reaction that killed half of the flying creatures and injured the rest.

One by one, as the Twikmoths fell to their deaths, Dante's Mana Points replenished.

"It's back to 90/100 MP. Alright. Time to finish this."

Many of the Twikmoths were able to escape but were injured and enraged. The creatures regrouped and entered their nest through the other passages.

And Dante found himself surrounded, and a large Twikmoth struck at Dante with its large talons. Acting quickly, he used Banishment to force back the group attacking him, forcibly ejecting it from the nest.

Dante prayed with the fastest words he could expel from his mouth.

"Oh Blessed Holy System, I invoke your divine authority. By the power vested in me, may the forces of evil be banished, sent back to their realms or origins, unable to bring harm."

[Banishment Granted: -20 MP]

While the Twikmoth ran away, Dante struck with precise melee attacks with the enhancement of the Divine Vigor. He killed and injured many of them on their way out. And managed to critically injure one. But even with the physical enhancement, he was still nowhere close to being able to kill the gigantic Twikmoths in combat.

To trick the Twikmoths that Dante was still inside, Dante cast the Guiding Light inside the nest again. Dante ran out of the Nest as fast as he could. The Twikmoths crawled back inside the nest, but could no longer find Dante there.

And with the Celestial Protection Invocation, he prayed.

"Oh Blessed Holy System, provide your servant with Divine Protection against evil and those who seek to obstruct your will. The Holy Shield that you bestow upon those with unwavering faith will never be overcome."

This created a radiant barrier that covered the nest's entrances. The creatures attempted to pass through the barrier but were struck with great damage further weakening them, and trapping them inside as Dante and Neritha ran back to the village.

The sunrise had arrived, and the sun's hopeful light was cast on Dante and Neritha's faces.
