>

>

>

> “Do you know who did this Detective?”

>

>

>

> I pushed through the crowd finials reaching the police tape. A officer came over to handle the reporter situation. A man with a brown suit and holding a cup of coffee started to walk over to me.

>

>

>

> “Who dragged your ass out of bed Ronhouse, I thought Monday’s didn’t work for you.”

>

>

>

> I smiled, while I gestured towards the coffee. He handed me the cup and I took a sip. “The old man did, said if I don’t get my ass down here. I can forget about my weekend off. Tell me what we got Hence.”

>

>

> “Well we got about 30 stiffs, all had guns. From what we can tell, they were shooting towards the front entrance. That’s where we found most of the bullet casings.”

>

>

>

> I flipped over the white sheet that covered one of the bodies, there was a bullet between the victims eye’s. “Professionals?”

>

>

>

> “As far as we can tell.” Hence said. “We found dragged marks and tire tracks near some builds. I’m thinking that the attacker’s took their own to hide evidence or they took some people.”

>

>

>

> I covered the body back up. “I’m guessing it’s the latter. Have we identified anybody?”

>

>

>

> “We have…they all got connections to the Tama family.”

>

>

>

> “Fuck..” I said under my breath. “Looks like I won’t get that weekend off.”

> The teacher talked on and on about shapes and lines, How I wish I could kill this man. I was happy when the bell for lunch had ranged and gladly left the classroom. I made my way to the cafeteria, and ordered my meal. Steak, with some potatoes. A man's meal I like to think. I sat at the table near the window, watching the kids walk about below.

> If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.

>

>

>

> “Did you hear about the attacks in the game?”

>

>

>

> Hearing this I could help to turn my ear towards the conversation across from me.

>

>

>

> “Yeah, even my clan was attacked. A lot of my friends won’t be able to log in for about a month.”

>

>

>

> “If this really was done by one single group, the. This is the biggest wipe in the games history. So many people got a game over.”

>

>

>

> “Yeah wouldn’t you think the games company would be doing something about this.”

>

>

>

> “They said they will look into this blah blah crap. But so far no word.”

>

>

>

> I couldn’t help but smile, a lot of people are still confused. It’s only a matter of time before the game company reaches out to me. I couldn’t help but think of the quest when I first got the crystal. I was still deciding on what I should do, when I was in some old ruins on Jara. Jara was always my favorite planet, a little more less advanced than HomeWorld but had the most unique theme...magic. HomeWorld is more about science and guns, and ships, But Jara is more about magic, and fantasy. They had ships to but it was more powered through magic then science. My quest was normal at first, Just clear out the old ruins of monsters and submit it to the the adventures guild.

>

>

>

> I cleared the monsters but I ended up falling through the floor on my way back, landing in a big chamber. On a podium was a box much like the one in the palace, and that’s when I discovered the crystal. Taking it back to my ship a studied the crystal, I then set up a small base in the woods to study it even more. I found that this could give of powerful energy and do amazing things. But most importantly is that this was just a piece of a whole. I don’t know the backstory of this crystal, but a plan started to form in my head.

>

>

>

> I finally knew what I wanted to do. Another crazy idea at the time came into my head, what if I could somehow fuse this crystal to my body? I would be able to use the world power that some NPC’s use! Making my plan a lot more possible to pull off. After a year of experimenting I finally found a way to fuse the crystal inside me. Then I felt this calling...I could sense another crystal.

> The bell to end lunch brought me back out of my memories. The group that was talking about the game had gotten up to leave, moving on to a different conversation. I got up as well. “Sigh...more math.” I felt like jumping out the window.

>

>

>

> So your saying a young man, killed my people and tortured you?

>

>

>

> “Yes...yes Mr.Tama.”

>

>

>

> I looked and the man standing at the end of my desk. “Somebody come kill this man.” Immediately two men In suits dragged the screaming man out. I did not have time for storytelling, right now the police was covering the docks like ants. And had to be ready for there questioning. Then there was knock on my door.

>

> “Come in.” I said.

>

>

>

> “Daddy are you finished with you work?”

>

>

>

> I smiled, it was my daughter. The only thing in this world I care about is her. She brought me lunch. “If it isn’t my beautiful princess, what did you cook dear old dad this time.” She walked in smiling setting the try on my desk.

>

>

>

> “I made your favorite, steak and potatoes. Like you always said. This is a meal for real men.”

>

>

>

> I laughed out loud. “If you are able to find a man who eats this, then he shall have my blessings.” I said.

>

>

>

> “Dad!”

>

>

>

> “Ok, ok. I won’t tease you” I said smiling at her. “ so tell me how has school been Nanami?”

>

>

>

>

>

> “It’s been ok, the same really. We did get a new student.” She said.

>

>

>

> I looked at her. “Hmmm you got that look on your face, what did you do?”

>

>

>

> “I can’t hide nothing! How do you do that!”

>

>

>

> I smiled, it was the same look her mother used to make when we was young. But I didn’t tell Nanami this. “Out with it young lady.”

>

>

>

> “Ugh..well there was this boy named Luke or whatever, and it was said he was peeping in the girls locker room. So I planed on teaching him why that was wrong. But instead of him coming in, it was the new guy. Dad I couldn’t beat the guy! He kept blocking my hits. So can you send people to beat him up?”

>

>

>

> I stared at my daughter, with a helpless smile on my face, she was just like her crazy mother.
