I just connected to Dragon's Lair. It's time for the first phase of my plan, I'm exactly where I disconnected at last night. I walk out of the city. I find a calm place to begin my training.
Deadly told me it was possible to create your own abilities. I investigated more about it and it seems that nobody knows exactly how to create abilities but there are a lot of theories about it. From my investigation, I reached the conclusion that using any type of technique can lead to the creation of an ability that improves them.
After that, I looked up a lot of martial arts videos on the internet, I saw the last world championship of Dragon Lair too. I analyzed all of the movement from the techniques I thought I could copy. At first, I couldn't figure anything out but with time, their heart began showing me all the bits of their movement.
So, now that I think I got their movement, I have to practice them. It'll take a lot of time to replicate and master all of their movements so I only selected 5 of them for now.
I'll begin with the techniques from “Blue sky”. He is a rogue and the guild master from “Heavenly Sky”, one of the top guild contenders. He has two useful techniques, Skywalk and Stonekick.
Let's try skywalk. This one was quite tricky, I had to watch a lot of his footage to figure this one out. It's basically a way of walking, he uses some series of steps to make his movement evasive and bizarre, it also facilitates dodging. When he is full into it, it seems like he's floating.
I begin training. At first it seems like I'm a baby giving his first steps but as time goes by, I gain some confidence. Even though it's still lacking compared to Blue Sky, it is usable. Now I should go to the next phase. I have to be able to use them in normal combat but I’ll be practicing that later. For now, I'll try the Stonekick.
The Stonekick is a lot easier. It is about using all your muscles while doing any type of kick. I begin moving all of the necessary muscles and I try to kick the air. It hurts, my muscles have to get used to being moved in that way. I continue trying until my body feels somehow comfortable with the movements, it doesn't take too long. It is a lot easier practicing this type of things inside the game since your muscles get healed by the regeneration system. I'll go to the next move. Handcutting.
Handcutting is a move I designed based in the style of “Danthelyon”, the guild master from “Hunters”, another top guild, he is a fighter known as the best long-sword user. Since there are basically no monks in the top ranks, I couldn't find any cut type techniques, so, I created one based in the movements of Danthelyon and some other information I found on internet.

It has two principles, one is the muscle movement, which is not the hard part, the hard part is the fury technique. At first, I didn’t understand how he could cut even a dull sword but latter I found something strange about his usage of fury. I found on internet that you could take fury outside of your body and make it take forms. When I searched more about it, all I found was that it is extremely difficult. I’ll try to make it work through experimentation.
After learning the muscle movements, I begin trying to take out fury, I find that it's not that hard to take it out, the problem is that you have to be actively controlling it to make it stay with you, if not, it begins scattering. It took me some time but I can somehow control it, I begin trying to make a blade around my hand. I manage it but I can't make it sharp. I practice some more time finding no results, so I decide to go with the next ability for now since it's getting late. I'll try Heavenlyhand.
I found this one in some old martial videos. It's an ability from "Benn Thomson” a famous boxer. He had a signature punch. It was an extremely strong punch, even if the opponent was blocking, they were just blown away. At first, I thought that it was just his physical strength but after some examination I found what he was doing.
He didn't just punch using all the muscles in his body, he used them in the last moment. He contracted all his muscles and in the last moment his released them like a slingshot. I think I can get this one quite fast. If I get this one, I can probably use it to improve stonekick too.
I try contracting all my muscles, when they are properly contracted; I release them all while punching the air. Aahh!! I think I dislocated my arm... I sit for some time, waiting for the regeneration to work. I continue trying, it doesn’t take too much for my body to get used to it. I feel like I’m very compatible with this one. There’s still the last one.
This one comes from “One”, he is the winner of the past world championship, he is one of the few solo top players. He is able to connect all of his abilities with amazing grace, I analyzed his abilities but I don’t think I got even 10% of what he does, so I focused in the most important one, his ability to connect attacks. I didn't know how but his attacks gained more power, the longer he was fighting.
After searching some more, I found that he is the son of a famous martial dojo. It seems that his father developed a technique to connect attacks and make them increasingly stronger. Fascinated by this, I knew I had to learn it. I’ll have to train until I get it. I try all of my new attacks in succession; I try to make them flow just like One. I can’t even do two in succession. Trying to make them connect with One's technique is way too difficult. I stop to rest a little and see it’s time to disconnect.
I have to train these abilities for some time to master them, I can’t just see and replicate them.
Well at least for now...
