I want a Dragon Waifu!

First of all let me introduce myself. I, the greatest of them all am not very popular especially towards humans. I laugh almost every time I realize it but oh well that’s life for me. Then I like books and any nerdy things which interest me. Mainly, I like stories. Lots of it. Before I forgot, I am not totally human. I am a dungeon master commonly known, wait I am more famously known as Planter.

My dungeon, which probably the oldest one out there mostly has plant monsters. Every single one of them and I have them on my list. Why don’t I have only those? It’s the rule that any dungeon must be specialized or every race will unite and take it down due to it becoming an Abyss.

Let me explain what is an Abyss then. Gosh I wish there is a book so I can just give it to you guys. Anyway, Abyss is a name for those dungeons who broke the rule. Any dungeon can actually be an Abyss before anyone knows since one only need to have multiple type of creatures on their own dungeon. Though the risk is the whole world will be turning their swords and spear to you since an Abyss can really grow out of hand and have the potential to threaten everyone. So yeah… We dungeon masters have it hard too.

Imagine having a separate world inside your own dungeon! A whole lot creatures roaming and high trees where the birds can rest when they are weary. Just imagining it makes any dungeon master’s heart beat faster but of course most dungeon masters only imagines it.

Why do we even follow those? Because we are weaker compared to world. It's funny how they fight among themselves but when an Abyss appear every kingdoms and empire unite like they are long-lost brothers united. Though the most commonly reason is that dungeon masters wants to live. It's on our blood to creat things to defend ourselves. Those things in the end attracts other races and they come to our place killing those poor children of ours and making things out of them. Even the cores of my poor babies can’t escape from their evil clutches.

I’m not trying to portray them as evils okay? I am just… Maybe I am.

So, back to the more important things! I want a dragon waifu!~ !

Why? Of course because they are great and beautiful creatures. Sadly, there is no way to create them inside a dungeon. You can consider them as field boss. Wait that is too little power in comparison. Maybe a raid boss that roams every  few million years across the plains and spread fire and death to the world. They are so cool right?

So… I like them and I want one in my dungeon but sadly they are so rare to find when they go into deep sleep. They are like programmed cleaners of the world. They only wake up when its time to burn most things into ashes. Though I lived long enough for one to consider me as their great ancestors, I never once experience the awakening of the true dragons. Like I said, they only awaken when it is time for clean up.

There are tales of them slaying a dragon but mostly they were lesser dragon or an ancient dragon but those can be considered as minor characters compared to true dragons. The difference is lesser dragons and ancient dragons likes to hoard things which interest them. Those shiny things makes them go Abyss mode so there are a lot of those junks on their lair. Because of their habit of collecting junks, many races covet those properties and hunt them down. On the other side, true dragons does not need or want anything aside from sleep. Yeah, they are like cursed to sleep for long period of times.

The greatest difference between those three is that only true dragons can change forms into humanoid or whichever they wish. There is even a tale of a slumbering goat for millenniums and suddenly one day transformed into a mighty dragon which burned nearly a quarter of a continent when people disturbed its sleep.

You can probably imagine how long I have been around for and how strong and awesome am I now right? It is a bit sad that there are only plant type monster in my dungeon and there are only a few wandering lost wild animals every few centuries so yeah I only look at green lush forest around me. You can summarize me as a sage. Don’t ever call me a hermit ok? I’ll go Abyss mode on you.

Some of you probably noticed the long list of those hostile kingdoms and empires. That is mainly due tot he SSS Grade Fruit of life in the deepest part of my dungeon. Of course it is not a shortcut to immortality for mortals but it can add up to a thousand years in their lifespan once they consume it and one can consume it as long as they have it. Pretty nice right? Sadly those empires sent waves and waves of soldiers and adventurers to get their hands on but how can I let them? Those trees of life are my babies and they make other plant type monsters stronger around inside my dungeon. More trees of life increases the power of plant type monsters by 10%/ tree and they only bear a single fruit every 100 years which only has 10% chance to grow into a new Tree of life so you can imagine how I am not willing to give a single one fruit since I need them!

Due to that, my dungeon is a popular suicide spot for adventurers and unless they are that desperate, people don’t come to my dungeon often.

I miss those old days when people rush madly and get eaten by my cute Man-eater.

Now that basically I am invincible unless I turn insane and go Abyss mode, I will be staying for a long long time in here.

True to name, It is now time to plant another SSS plant and I have variety of what to choose.

Seed of Greed: Success chance: 5%; Cultivation time: 200 years.

When planted a chance to obtain the Three of Greed..A tree that steals a portion of good luck around the world and grants it to nearby plants for better chances of bearing fruit and survival.

Seed of Tree of life: Success chance: 10%; Cultivation time 200 years

When planted, a chance to obtain a Tree of Life. A tree that grants 10% increase of overall power and defence of all monster inside the dungeon.

Seed of Wish: Success chance: 1%; Cultivation time: 2 days.

When planted, a very slim chance to get a single wish which the heaven won’t be able to refuse. Caution: Extremely unstable outcome.

Seed of Terror: Success rate: 35% Cultivation time 200 years

When planted,  a chance to spawn Terror pawns. Extremely hard to distinguish from normal plants but have strong piercing power. Have great endurance to blunt, slashing and fire attacks. Spawns 50 Terror spawns every two years.

You can already somehow guess at this rate what I want to plant, so everybody stand up and look up in the sky with me.

“I WANT A DRAGON WAIFU!” I said as I threw the seed of Wish towards the best area around my dungeon.

Two days… Let’s see if it will succeed.
