The captain room is on the top tower and he can see the entire ship.
There are some weapons on it. but they are not designed for battle. they are designed to break big stones floating in the sky for not colliding and break the hull.
On your world a hole in the hull means water entering and on the ship, this is the air we breathe who is going in the void.
Us Wyrm, we can survive there but not the humans. We are Legally, following the nature laws, here. We have broken no laws as we are coming by sail and not by dimension or magic or evocation. So I purchase some barrels of ale for us to celebrate.
We purchase also some utensils as decoration and local specialties in dry meat and flavor so we can make a welcome party.
