*On the heaven*
‘Hum. My children seem to be fine.” God looks through the mirror while smirking.
“What are you watching?” The fairies ask with curiosity.
“Well, just some new-born children. I have given them some instructions. So it will be some time before they come here.” God says with a soft tone and touches the fairies.
“Stop it! It tickles.” The fairies try to dodge away, finds something to play.
God looks back at the mirror and mutters:
“When will you be here? John and Azure?”
*In the chamber room*
Time passes and everything is still the same. I still focus on practicing with building my dungeon. Till now, I have created enough roots for the second floor – about 30 roots. I also try to absorb more elemental power. I got 75% now and I need 25% more to get to the new skill. I also increase my sharpshooter skill when I shoot the target from afar – about 10 km I guess.
“98, 99, and 100” I push up while counting. I stand up and wipe all my sweat. Push up doesn’t give me more strength but I still do it as the beginning of my training.
I wear on the armor made of stone with some elemental power. When I try to move, there will be some mana pushed outside which you’d never noticed. The element will eat up all that mana and make the armor heavier. I pull out the 25-kg bow and start to pull it. The bowstring is made of rope – made from element (Wood).
After 30 minutes, pulling the bow, I start to meditate to get mana back. When you get tired, you will get mana faster. And also the element will flow in faster as it is lured by the mana. I can also use the dungeon core for training but it is a dangerous way so I give it up. I also train in the poison area to make me exhaust faster. And it makes me get the skill faster. The ‘Immunity of poison’ is a good skill to get if you don’t want to be harmed by poison.
It has been a month since the group went into my dungeon. From then till now, there aren’t any adventures to get in here. But there is a lot of noise outside my dungeon. I think the Guild is protecting my dungeon, ensure that I and my dungeon are safe, because the benefits given by the dungeon is very important for the improvement of the Kingdom. That’s why there is noise outside. I don’t care about the adventures. All I want to do is exploring the Forest. My dungeon is located in Cravens Forest. From what I heard, this place is just a low-tier monster's place. The monster’s levels are from 5-20 and the stats are usually lower than 40. Getting deeper is an advanced place. The monster’s levels are from 30-50. The adventures haven’t explored all this area yet but from what they reported, the strongest monster they faced is levels 50 and all the stats are over 300. There is also a place called ‘death area’ because no one can survive when they came here.
With that information, I think I can survive in an advanced area. At there I can train myself and kill a monster from some good stuff. With my low-level dungeon, it may be a good choice to get the stuff from outside. The mana crystals are good but sometimes the weapons and equipment are better. That’s why I need material and some skills in making such as: sew, build, alchemist, blacksmith…
After thinking a bit, I decided when the first adventure comes in, I will dig out when they have finished my first floor. I want to see the other adventures whether they are good or not. With me, it is quite a fun experience.
*An hour ago, outside the dungeon*
“Sir, the report said we should be careful. 2 creatures can easily destroy an A-rank group. Can you think carefully before let a B-rank group goes in there?” One of the senior members exclaims. He doesn’t believe at ‘Black Lotus’ because he doesn’t know what the dungeon lord is. This concept is too hard to believe and that’s the reason why he doesn’t accept to let anybody in.
“Hm. You said right.” (Guild master)
“Yeah! That’s why w…”
“But there is also a small chance that dungeon lord told us a true thing. And if it is true it will be a good advantage to get a lot of herbs, crystals, weapons that we can’t find in the Forest. So I decided to let them in.” (Guild master)
“But sir, that is too dangerous…”
“Just do it.” Guild master interrupts him. He grinds his teeth and says:
“Yes, sir.”
After hearing the command of the Guild master, one of the employees goes out of the tent and says with the B-rank group.
“After the discussion, The guild master decided to let you in the dungeon. But remember don’t try to fight the boss. Otherwise, you will die.”
“We promise not to fight the boss. See ya, Laura”
Laura waves her hand at the group and hopes they are all peaceful.
*John’s sight*
My waiting has been rewarded. A group is coming in my dungeon. I feel thrilled and excited when I see them get in the first room. They are pretty careful because they checked all the traps even there are only pitfalls. They also checked the roots for about 5 minutes and left it when they thought it was ok.
The first room is the easiest. There are only a few core slimes and goblins. With an A-rank member, (s)he can easily defeat it. But I have expected much. They have to fight as a team when dealing with just a small amount of monsters. Especially the wizard, she only casts the ‘petite fire’ – a kind of fire magic but weaker than ‘fireball’. And the accuracy is terrible. If she casts 10 ‘fire petite’, only 5 may hit the enemies.
This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it.
Anyway, they manage to get through the second room and the third one. But they seem to be very tired. And it seems like they want to head back. Anyway, some tiny magic crystals are worth their effort. I sigh at the boring battle and dig another way out.
The hole I made is big enough just for me to get out. I want to make it as small as possible because I want to cover it with some trees around here. I also want to leave the hole in case an emergency occurs.
I once again get out of my dungeon for exploring. I didn’t breathe this air in a long time – so fresh. I take a look at the Guild and move to the East. I need to get to the advanced area. At there I will have what I need and prepare to go to Twilight Forest.
I immediately run to the new area because I don’t want to waste my time. Thanks to the training, I can easily use the skill professionally and rapidly. Although I don’t know where the area is, I can still find it if I can run with this speed in an hour.
45 minutes passed and I arrived in the advanced area. I take look at everywhere and notice some strange things. The Forest at here seems to be redder than the forest in the low-area. The wind seems to soar harder and the sky seems to be darker in the morning.
I can smell the blood flowing in the air. This place is very dangerous. If a person isn’t strong enough, (s)he may be hurt in physical and mental trauma. That’s why I have to prepare carefully before getting in here. I take out my bow and start to climb on the tree. I move from this tree to the other tree to make sure I am fine. The Forest seems to roar causing a hallucination to me. I see a dark shadow floating on the air. I stare at the shadow but it just stands there and looks at me. I shoot a bow and it disappears immediately. I gain my breath back and continue my journey.
I find my first target: War beast. A monster looks like a wolverine but seems to be smaller. Its eyes glow red and its fur seems to be sharper than iron. It has claws harder than titanium. That’s the information I get from Eternal Eye. About the stat, its potential is more than 600 and it’s incredibly strong. The most dangerous thing is the skill ‘rage’. This skill can give the bear 2× stronger. That’s why it’s super hard to kill it when you are A-rank
But even with that, it’s still weaker than me. This is what I got in 1 month:

I examine my stat and pull my bow and arrow. I infuse the mana in the arrow and the bow to increase more power. The War beast notices about the change in mana. It looks around and finds me standing on the branch of the tree. The War Beast gazes at me and growls loudly. It puts mana in its head to cut the tree down. Then, kill me. Well, I aim my bow at its head. I think it will die immediately because of the arrow and I will gain a great amount of experience but I was wrong. The War Beast uses its head and knocks away the arrow. I shock at that scene and focus back on the battle.
The War Beast cuts through my tree makes me jump on another tree. I think for a bit and decide to do it. I pull another arrow and infuse it. This time I infuse elemental power to use the ability roots to tie that monster. I jump around the tree to dodge the War Beast and make times for my arrow. When my arrow is ready, I use an element on the ground to make the War Beast jumps up. I shoot an arrow at it. When you are floating in the air, there is no way that you can dodge the arrow. But I was too confident. The War Beast uses its skill ‘rage’ to make it become faster. It dodges the arrow and tries to rush me. I quickly jump to another tree. But the War Beast quickly changes its direction and cuts through my tree. I quickly jump back on the last tree and look at the War Beast. The War Beast gazes its eys on me and rush again. I smirk and say:
“You are going to die”
The War Beast tries to stop but it was too late. The arrow I shot when the War Beast is on the air, bounced back and hit the War Beast. Its body starts to be tied by roots.
When the War Beast rushes me, I jumped around and set up small circle magic. It can change the direction of mana. That’s why the mana arrow can bounce back. And if the War Beast can notice the mana, I just need to increase my mana to make the entire of this area full of my mana to trick it. And because there is a possibility that my mana, which is full in the area, can cause my arrow turns back again. All I have to do is lower the mana in the area than the mana on the tree.
The War Beast tries to get out but it can’t. When it uses mana, the element becomes stronger. That’s why it can’t get out. I summon a wooden sword and stab its head. Blood flows on my sword. I gave the War Beast a silent death.
I let go of my hands and sit down. This feeling is different from the feeling I use an arrow to kill Bear. The sword is so heavy, not because of its weight. It’s something but I can’t explain. I clutch my chest. It’s hurting. It’s hurting a lot. I have never felt like this. Even I have just killed a monster with a sword. But I can stand this feeling. The murderous in me makes me can’t breathe. I try to calm myself and relax. I think I change into a dungeon lord affecting my emotion. I don’t know how to explain it but it was terrible. It was like an invisible thing pressing on my chest.
And some voices say in my head. I don’t know why I got this. When I use the bow, I didn’t get this but when I use a sword this happens. I think I got some restrictions with the weapons. But anyway, I killed a tough enemy (Not tough as I expected). I stand up, take a deep breath, and start to move deeper.
I climb on a tree and continue my journey.
