Slimes
Slimes are the most common monsters in all off Dastrum.
Monsters are categorised by the system as living being that have a magic core.
One might assume due to the name, that the viscous substance that makes up the body of a slime is an actual body like in other animals, but the only vital part of a slime is its core.
You wouldn’t be wrong to argue that a slime is nothing but a very complex magic core that is able to manipulate liquids to form its body.
In fact a slime body physically is only made up of simple materials that are saturated by the slimes magic to make it liquid and acidic or any other property that the slime has.
Because their make up is so simple and their ability to evolve based on what the ingest, they are the most adaptable thing alive, the only thing they depend on to survive is mana.
Slimes as a whole represent adaptability with in the system.

Humans are by far the most numerous civilized race in all of Dastrum.
While there are a few other civilized races their numbers are generally so small that they either aren’t known about unless you live near them or they join human civilisation without building their own.
The 3 most common human races, exept the standard Human, are the Elfs, the Dwarfs and the Goblins.
Humans as a whole represent potential and as such the major subtypes of humans usually represent one or multible aspects of potential.
Elfs represent tradition, repetition and nature.
Dwarfs represent change, experimentation and civilization.
Goblins represent groups, coordination and adaptability.
