A Girl stood up on the edge of the building, markings wrapped around her arms glowing a sleight blue color “Madeline what are you doing up here?” someone said, The women turned and saw a boy who had no markings but dirt covered skin and sharp ears “Just observing.” The man smiled, “Well you better hurry up as our party will be heading off soon.” Madeline smiled, “Is it possible to fall in love with a city, Markus?” The boy sighed and began to ruffle his own hair “Is this one of your trick questions?” he said, Madeline smiled as she lost concentration her markings began to recede “I’ll be ready with my stuff soon.”
Later that Night
Markus lowered himself to examine the entrance of the cave, quickly noticing small rivers of dry and new blood he sighed “Tamil we might be dealing with either a lower vampire or a shadow caster, either way it's best we held up our guard with spells defending from Realm augmentation.” A man looked at Markus, sighing, “Realm augmentation is nothing but a myth, or at least it's a very rare skill.” Quickly he entered the cave and quickly the group followed, Markus and Madeline slowly walked in giving them and the two others some space, “Are you prepared if anything happens?”
They quickly caught up to the group, with all four of them ending up in a forked path suddenly a black liquid started to pour from the walls they looked around shocked as an orb like thing expanded to around them, Madeline looked at Markus scared she was close to casting a spell, but a dagger was thrown ripping through her throat, blood fell down her lips without a single ounce of control she fell to the floor with Markus staring at her with widened eyes quickly the group faced forward and saw a shadow of a man “Not even a Shadow caster or vampire shocked?” it said a blade grew from its arm, as it smiled with a twisted expression slowly it began to walk toward the group, and soon it began to run soon Madeline's vision darkened, and soon she fell unconscious, waking an unknown amount of time.
Madeline sat up and turned her head to only see a man with two short black metal blades, “Galen…” The man crossed his arms as his eyebrows lowered showing his anger, “You and Markus are both a part of the Knights of Nine, how could your group fall to such lower leveled creatures?” Madeline looked toward the ground she sighed, “Please Galen understands that thing was stronger than either of us?” Galen slammed his foot onto the ground, “You are my heir for my claim to the sixth barrier you must be stronger than this, you’re lucky only one of you died.” Madeline eyes widened in shock, she looked up, “Who died?” She said Galen sighed “The leader of your adventuring group, unfortunately, but let’s not dwell on the past…” Galen kept talking but was blocked out by Madeline as she was focusing on the one news he’d said, her body began to tremble “Tamil died…” she said Galen looked at her quickly noticing her growing sadness stopping at whatever he was currently talking about “It wasn’t your fault Madeline.” Madeline gripped the bedsheets, “Yes it is, I had a strange feeling the entire mission if I had maybe just listened to it and Markus Tamil wouldn’t have died.” Galen sighed, “When you feel better, inform me, okay.” Galen turned toward the door, opening it but before leaving he looked at Madeline, “Madeline once you get better I’m putting you in charge of the sixth barrier.” Madeline looked at him confused, “Why?”

Galen sighed, “There’s a war brewing in the continent of Aurelia, the emperor wants me to make sure it doesn’t get out of hand.” Galen turned toward the door with one final sigh and left, but before the door closed another walked in, Madeline looked and saw it was Markus who seemed more worried than usual, he ran over and hugged Madeline, but quickly Markus left the hug for holding together her hand “Madeline, maybe it’s time you answered the capitals reply.” Madeline was going to speak but stopped as she knew he was right “Students over there are taught how to sense any differences in the air you… are not your way of being taught is more wild and Fairy like you do not rely on the mana in the air as much as elves and humans do as you are mana, so going to the capital and learning magic the human way will further strengthen you.”
Two months later
Madeline looked at the interviewer, a woman taller than her with dark hair and a dark complexion and one eye covered, “You managed to escape the capital's grips first my your culture immunity and then by your Knighthood immunity, now you're just coming to us, why is that?” Madeline looked at the ground, “Out on a mission I was powerless… I’m better at casting spells when it compares to humans but to my fellow fairies despite my knowledge on high tier spells I’m just a tier 3 mage, with a high affinity to necromancy.” The women sighed she moved her hand toward her eye patch revealing a star like pupil on her intact eye, “Do you know what a Magic bound is?” Madeline nodded, “Explain it to me then.” Madeline looked at the girl's eye, “A magic bound is someone who has a specific magic made just for them, but the adverse effect is that you can’t use any other forms of magic.” The women nodded, “The capital categorizes magic bound dependent on type in classified as a seer, I can’t see the future, but I can see the many possibilities of magic types you can use and which you are attuned with or even mastered it.” Madeline laughed a little, “By that logic you can see the future just specific details about a person.” The women rolled her eyes, “Yes, anyhow, do you know what I see in you?” Madeline shook her head moving her hands from the table to her leg gripping at her pants “If you practiced and attend my school you’d be the most powerful mages, hell given time you can even Attempt Realm augmentation and even master it, which many fairies have failed to do.” Madeline lifted her left hand for a handshake, “I don’t wish to know more, but I will attend your school, though I do need your name?” The women smiled, reaching and shaking her hand, “I’m Principle Wilde, but everyone calls me Orin.”
