Welcome,to the new world

I went to bed like any regular person would, and then when I woke up I was here.

So yeah that sucked.

And now I'm here in this body that definitely isn't mine, and the first thought that came to my head was, 'are you kidding me?'.

The second thought, that I was definitely isekaied.

Next to me was a longhaired.. person? I wasn't really sure, they did float, but I'II just stick with that for now.

Anyway they we're basically explaining to me the whys and hows.

Also why I wasn't in my body when I came here.

"Well the thing is..

while you were getting transported through worlds, your life force was starting to shorten.."

"So I was going to try to temporarily freeze your life force— but it was too big and I couldn't handle it."

-"So you switched my consciousness with a child's and left the rest of me fall into the world seprately?" I stared at them with an expressionless dull face.

"I.. found a better solution..?"

-".."

"..Well I mean! It's just temporary!"

-"And how long is temporary exactly?"

"Until you can find your body.."

-".."

".."

-"You might aswell have just let me croak right then and there."

I sighed.

Generally though there weren't all that many issues with this, children are less suspicious in manwha and mangas ( not counting the imortal lolis ) but really the only disadvantage is that I'II have to do everything behind the scenes.

"Adults" as you'd call them aren't as mature as you might think.

They try their best to hide things from kids until they're older to understand,it's not kinder or better it's just easier.

Which is why if they saw a child prying into something they "weren't supposed to" pry into they'd probably try to distance it ( in this world though doing something out of the blue might cause me to draw attention to myself which is not what a side character  would do thus ruining my sideline roll )

With that being said.. children aren't usally the center of attention, depending on their age.

I looked a bit over 12 here.

Well at least I didn't get put into an infants body.

-"Alright so what world was I transported in anyways?"

".."

-"What?"

"..I kind of maybe.. accidentally swapped your soul into a random novel.."

-".."

This shit doesn't happen to manwha protagonists.

I let out a sigh, sure I was pissed but generally speaking being mad at them wouldn't solve anything.

I needed to work on the case at hand and at that fast.

First things first,it's obvious that I'm just a side character.

My hair is ordinary, clothes are around middle class.

Unless I'm used as a pity warp hole to show how kind some protagonist is I doubt I'd get involved with any of the leads.

But really it's not that hard to spot them even if I've never met them before.

The isekai/manwha case file is the best thing to go off of.

For starters,I look like I'm in some glorification of the medival world, the type that you'd see in vilaness manwha.

So that immediately rounds down to a few protagonist and antagonist options.

For starters,

Main Charachters/Iseakied individuals usally go on to:

Isekai into the past antagonist of the story's body (usually female)

panic about the doom they're about to meet, completely change their personality from how they were seen before and then go to brake off their assigned marriage of doom.

So for the main character, they'II be easy to spot.Usually going hand in hand with the antagonist ( aka - the fiance they want to get rid of ) and usally have a very honest or calculating personality often something more "down to earth" which I would disagree with since their choices are a lot more than just a bit questionable and not what I'd say is down to earth reasoning.

Almost always they end up falling for either a side character not well known to the story,or the antagonist they were trying to avoid ( though the ladder is rarely seen ) though this would depend on a few things, mostly if the female lead before them is the end antagonist or not.

"Well in any case.. I have to go now so.."

Wait is that the sound of a carriage?

I looked around at the other citizens as they all turned their heads and bowed.

Well I guess it's time to be a side character.

"Hey what are you doing? How come your getting on the ground?"

You,isekaier also have the same awareness level of a naive female lead.Looking out of place in this kind of group is a major no-no.

On the not so off chance that the carriage sees me not being "respectful" they'II stop and call me out, usually this would be the guards or even the real antagonist, and I would be stopped when the protagonist comes to show "pity" to me and let's me go with a pat on the head or some "kind words of advice".

This would erase my role as a side character, since I would then be used as a showcase to help both the audience and the other characters "realize" the sudden change of behavior to change if not just meld their perception of her.

The more it looks like she made an impact on me,the more likely the chance I'II return as a witness to her kindness, usually a defending role against someone claiming she's a bad person (a vague term in my opinion but it usally means something specific in these types of stories),or just when she's in danger in general.

But anyways I digress.

"Hey I think she's going over to some kid that fell"

Oh so it already happened, and also weren't you going to leave?

Anyways,looking at the situation now.

My role as a side character is a lot less likely to get damaged.

It'd be best not to turn my head to look over since that would most likely draw some kind of attention to myself.

"Oh it looks like she talked to him,and now she's leaving"

Just on cue,I should also lift my head right about now since the carriage is about to leave.

Once a slight THUNK was head I raised my head to look around.
