And there he was. After his work was over, his friends voluntarily picking him up at his workplace and somehow managed to persuade Saiko to join them. Their ride was an ordinary one, just the usual talk about a movie, gossiping about their acquaintances and about the whole strangers and vigilante incident.
One person, in particular, Lil Ty. Somehow really got into the last night incident. He even already did his own research and making a blog and forum just to talk about those kinds of thing. Hearing him talking in high spirit and sparkling eyes, Fuk could only give him a wry smile, considering Lil Ty was walking about him right now.
Over the roar of music, a distant, hazy chatter could be heard. Fuk couldn’t make out any words, but laughter rang in his ears and wouldn’t seem to stop. The song that was playing got louder, pulling him in and wouldn’t let go. He had no choice but to join the crowd, jumping in a huddled group like potato chips being shaken in their package.
And yet even though this was one of the best party he had attended, his mind was floating all over the place. At first, he did enjoy it, socializing with his best friends, laughing and dancing like the rest of the people.
But after some time, no matter how much he drunk the alcohol, he couldn't get into the mood. The alcohol resistance was now Lvl 6. Each amber coloured liquid that had gone past through his throat was nothing but like a water right now.
Feeling sad about his body condition, he took one last glass, hoping in his whole heart that this could make him drunk.
Congratulations! Poison Resistance is now level 4.
Instead what kicked in was another notification. Inwardly sighed, he took the unnecessary rest and opening the status screen, reading the message from Ellisar group, telling him that they would firstly search for the pond.
...This is what they call a double life eh? Fuk thought as his head dropped to the edge of the sofa, he could only wonder how the hell those people he saw in superhero comic book could maintain the balance on their ordinary life and their 'side activity.'
And it wasn't the physical fatigue or the amount of time that bothered him, but more like the mental dilemma. With a deep sigh, while watching the status screen he guessed that was what made him a human. No matter how much candy life gave to them, humans couldn't ever have enough of it. They would always ask for more and that was what Fuk felt right now.
At one side, he always wanted to connect with his friends, his family, having a decent amount of money, and live an ordinary life.
But on the other side, he wanted to always explore the dungeon, living every teenager dream to live in the fantasy world, and enjoyed an adventurous life.
And yet right now, he didn't feel that much fun. He wanted to sneak away and go to the dungeon. Finishing the quest and finding another mysterious thing. Though, once he entered the dungeon, he always wondered about his favourite tv shows, the comic that he still wanted to read, many different kinds of food he wanted to eat.
As he stared at the rainbow-coloured lights flickered on and off, following the music rhythm, a figure suddenly walked to him, covering Fuk's face with her shadow.

"Something matter?" Asked Fuk as he changed his lazy posture, slightly moving a little bit to the side, giving some space for Saiko to sit in.
Without saying a single word, she sat and started opening her status screen.
"So... what are you planning to get next?" Fuk asked with a bored looking stare at his eyes.
"....Novice maybe.. the bonus isn't that bad. What do you think?" Said Saiko before she put the glass of orange juice into her pink lips.
"Eh, well, considering it doesn't take that much of PP to spend I guess that fine."
"...I see." Hearing Fuk's word, without hesitation she spent 20 points and went straight to the Super Novice. Maybe because she couldn't contain the excitement or what, Saiko smiled and seemed to really enjoyed herself.
Somehow seeing her making Fuk wanted to chuckle, though trying at his best to hold it back, he could only think about the weird kind of people he met in the dungeon. As for example Saiko, Fuk thought she seemed like the serious type loner at a first glance... and he still did think that right now. But much to his surprise, she seemed to really enjoy the whole System and Candidate things. Not to mention she clearly didn't give the vibe of Martial Artist or the reason why she chose Martial Artist was a big question for him.
Then again, shrugging his shoulder he couldn't think that. It was better to have a clear goal in someone mind, rather than just plainfully allocating your point into some random things.
"....Stop your creepy grin." Said Saiko, slightly moving away from Fuk as she noticed his grin.
"Geez, don't need to be so harsh. Anyway, are you free tomorrow?"
"....No, I'm not interested with a date."
"How do you come into that conclusion?!"
"....It's our day off, moreover, that question is like the most cliche question, ever."
"Well, I'm not asking for a date though. It just I wanted to spend the next two days in the dungeon, you know, sightseeing, eating some food, or -"
Sighed, Saiko only looked at Fuk while holding her forehead. "...That's a date."
"Eh, whatever. I prefer the term hang out, so how about it? interested?"
And once again she sighed, turning her head and ignoring Fuk question. And as they spent the next 5 minutes, then twenty, forty minutes and an hour in total silence, "....Fine, I'll go."
"Eh, what's up with the change of heart?" Fuk titled his head as he asked that.
"....Said the one that did silent treatment." Said Saiko as she looked slightly annoyed.
Though by the time Fuk listened to her words, a big question mark appeared on his head, "Ah." He said as he felt an apple just feel right into his head. "Don't tell me you thought I was mad and giving you a silent treatment?! Geez, what do you think I am? A grade schooler? moody teenager?" Said Fuk.
Hearing this, the young girl turned her face around, her shoulders hunched together like she was trying to disappear inside of herself. Even her dark eyes seemed to be attempting to retreat inside his head. As she let her face fell followed the gravity, her ears turned bright red as someone was pinched it really hard. "....Shut up or I'll change my mind."
"Geez, fine, fine. So... how about 12 o'clock? I'll wait in-"
But before Fuk was able to finish his word, three people, first was Methany jumped right on his back. "What's up with 12 o'clock?! So~ what happened? Did I miss something?"
"So~ you two are making a plan without us? *Ahem* Then Fuk, do you want to borrow my car?" Said Junior, with the smell of alcohol permeated from his body.
"....Ah, I hope there's a storm tomorrow." Said Lil Ty, with both of his eyes already blankly gazing at the ceiling.
...Somehow, when Fuk was seeing them acted like this, he wondered how could he thought that adventurous life in the dungeon had the same quality as his own life. Eh, It's fun but somehow this three are more fun than that.
At the end of the night, with being the only one that still sober, considering the monstrous amount of police that were patrolling tonight, Fuk was the one that drove each one of them back to their house. Earning him Riding Lvl 3.
