The golden rays of the rising sun, once hidden on the other side of the Earth, now emerge confidently like a king awakening from a long slumber, casting warm light that envelops the world in a golden embrace, igniting new hope in the hearts of every being.
And so, the time has come; the night has faded away, leaving behind the faint remnants of the beautiful moonlight.
I lie sprawled there in the vast meadow, gazing up at the rising sun.
As I take a moment to catch my breath and dispel the lingering confusion, the sight of the morning sun unfolds before my eyes.
“Damn, why are there two suns?”
I mutter in confusion, my mind racing to comprehend this surreal sight before me. The sky, once a canvas for a single golden orb, now boasts two radiant suns, casting a shimmering light across the landscape. A bewildering warmth envelops me, and I find myself grappling with the impossible, my thoughts swirling like leaves in a tempest.
This scene before me unfolds as the strangest I have ever encountered; surely, it must be a mistake, I whisper to myself in disbelief. I strive to sit upright, yet my gaze remains entranced by the dual suns glowing in the sky. The vast expanse stretches endlessly before me, an empty canvas that seems to mock my bewilderment, teasing me with its boundless possibilities. The landscape shimmers under the embrace of their twin light, transforming the familiar into an enchanting dream, leaving me adrift in a surreal sea of uncertainty and wonder.
Even as this is the first time I witness such a phenomenon, my heart feels numb. No, it’s more than that; there’s a strange comfort in this moment. “Is this truly the end?” I whisper to myself, a sense of relief washing over me like a gentle tide. The morning breeze wraps around me like a warm embrace, soothing my restless spirit and carrying away the remnants of doubt. In this surreal stillness, I find solace amidst the uncertainty, a peaceful acceptance of whatever may come next.
I was once an assassin on this blue planet we call Earth, a specter drifting through the shadows of human existence. I have taken the lives of thousands, weaving a tapestry of death that stretches across the fabric of time. My life is a grim tale, shaped by the cold steel of my blade and the relentless pursuit of wealth. In that world, I exist as a killer, a mercenary for hire, bound by chains of obligation and desire.
Freedom eludes me like a wisp of smoke, slipping through my fingers as I follow the orders of my boss, the puppet master of my fate. Each command is a thread in the web of my existence, binding me tighter to the path I tread. I am a tool, wielded by those who seek to fulfill their darkest ambitions, and the burdens they impose upon me weigh heavily on my soul.
Each life I have extinguished whispers stories of lost dreams and unfulfilled hopes, and in the silence that follows each kill, I feel the echoes of their despair. I navigate this world of shadows, where morality blurs and the line between right and wrong becomes a distant memory. My heart, once vibrant, has grown numb, dulled by the weight of my choices and the haunting specters of the past.

Yet, as I traverse this dark path, a flicker of doubt creeps into my mind. Is there more to life than this endless cycle of violence? Can I reclaim the freedom that has been stripped away, or am I forever destined to serve the whims of others? In the stillness of night, beneath the indifferent stars, I find myself longing for a chance at redemption, a spark of hope to ignite the embers of a life I once dreamed of living.
But I decided to end my life, weary of this monotonous existence that spiraled into an endless loop of despair. I longed for liberation from the chains of my past, and so I chose to leap from the thirteenth floor of a hotel, surrendering to the abyss below.
As I plummeted into the void, a rush of adrenaline surged through me, a fleeting moment of clarity amid the chaos. But when I awoke, I found myself in a different world altogether, a realm untouched by the stains of my former life.
Here, the air was imbued with a strange vitality, vibrant and full of possibilities. The colors around me were more vivid, the landscapes sprawling with beauty I had never known. I felt a weight lift from my shoulders, as if the burdens of my past had been shed like a worn-out cloak.
I pinched myself, desperate to confirm that this wasn’t just a dream. “Aww!” I exclaimed as the sharp pain jolted through me, the sting a stark reminder of reality. “Damn it!” I cursed, regret flooding my features as I realized the weight of my past choices still lingered.
The sensation grounded me, yet I couldn’t shake the feeling of disbelief. This world felt too vivid, too surreal, as if I had been plucked from the depths of despair and placed into a vibrant tapestry of existence. I looked around, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings, a mixture of wonder and confusion swirling within me.
The pain was real, but so was this new beginning. As I stood there, face etched with remorse, I began to wonder: could this be my chance for redemption?
After I sat up, my hand instinctively moved to my side, and I felt the cold touch of something familiar and metallic.
“A gun?” I whispered in disbelief. “Why is this thing here with me?”
As I examined the object closely, recognition washed over me; it was my beloved Desert Eagle, the weapon that had claimed hundreds of lives.
“Did it really follow me to this new world?” I pondered, confusion swirling in my mind. Yet, amidst the bewilderment, a strange sense of happiness blossomed within me. This small, lethal companion felt like an old friend, a remnant of my past that had somehow persisted through the veil of death.
I reached into the depths of my surroundings and discovered several magazines tucked away nearby, each one a reminder of the life I once led, a life drenched in shadows and blood.
The familiar weight of the gun in my hand felt both comforting and unsettling, a paradox of my existence. In this strange new reality, would I wield it again, or was it time to let go of the past?
But I chose not to dwell on it—not for now.
I stood up and gazed once more at the two suns hanging in the sky.
“It’s beautiful,” I murmured, a sense of awe washing over me.
After savoring that moment of wonder, I realized I needed to uncover the secrets of this world. I had yet to lay eyes on a single human being in this strange realm, and curiosity ignited within me like a flame.
What lay beyond the horizon? What stories awaited me in this uncharted territory? I took a deep breath, feeling the warmth of the dual suns on my skin, and prepared to venture forth into the unknown, eager to discover the mysteries that awaited in this vibrant land.
