At that same time I saw a taxi speeding down the street. I ran in front of it and the taxi operator hit the brake hard so that he would not hit me. He was successful in doing so, he got out of the car and shouted at me angrily. I stepped towards him and explained the situation to him and he stated his price. I hurriedly agreed and got my mother into the taxi. I hurriedly ran into the house grabbing the bag with the money and locking the door. I ran to the taxi and entered it, closing the door whilst he drove off. In approximately thirty minutes we reached the hospital at the emergency door. There was no sense of urgency from anyone at the door. There was no one waiting to receive the patients like you would see in the movies. There was only a single security guard and he was sleeping. I ran inside and grabbed a wheelchair and carried it to the taxi. I hoisted my mother into it as the taxi operator demanded his money. I gave it to him and realized that I only have any left after. I carried my mother to the emergency room and called for help. The emergency room was packed and it took almost fifteen minutes for a nurse to attend to my mother.
