His father had rented him a room near the academy for the convenience of studying, but he had wasted time and money playing computer games instead. Tragically, a disaster would strike his family less than two years later.
Plagued by tragedy, he could never forget. His mother had passed away from heart failure, and his grief-stricken father later succumbed to lung and liver cancer. Meanwhile, his younger sister constantly berated him for his obsession with computer games.
Eventually, her sister decided to sever ties with him.
After discovering his inappropriate behavior during his family's time of mourning, Rica decided to permanently end her relationship with him.
As he reminisced about the future, the sound of his doorbell interrupted his thoughts. "I'm on my way, quit it," he said.
"How many times do I have to remind you to visit Mom on the weekends?" Jane scolded.
Recalling the future events where his sister sacrificed herself to a monster to save him from death weighed heavily on his mind.
Unable to hold back, he embraced his sister tightly, weeping uncontrollably in her arms.
Confused, Jane punched him in the head, leaving a red, swelling lump.
"What was that for?" he asked his sister.
"Aren't we supposed to visit Mom today?"
As she spoke, Jane grabbed his ear and dragged him out of the apartment.
On the train,...
In the midst of arguing with his sister, Reniel accidentally said "inventory."
His sister's words faded into the background as he focused on the contents of his inventory.
Most of the items he had acquired from the future remained in his inventory, except for the armor and dual-bladed katana he had used to defeat the King of Darkness.
quip item's vanished, he realized, so he murmured "Status."

Once again, his level was 1, with very low overall stats - like trash from another trash. Even his intelligence was the worst of the worst.
He cried out, recalling how many player bullies had targeted the weak among the weakest, with only F-rank trash skills.
Observation: Level F, 10 mana cost.
Reniel: Lvl 1, Str:1, Agi:1, Int:3, Mana:10.
You can observe your surroundings using your senses/unique/growth type skill.
Average player stats: Lvl 1, Str:5, Agi:5, Int:10, Mana:20.
Even though every skill he had acquired had vanished or reset, thankfully his original unique growth type skill remained.
He was still glad he had taken the quest for the elixir for his mom and dad, after they had died, to make up for his guilty conscience.
With another blow to his head from his sister, another lump was added to the existing one. "You're not listening at all!" she scolded. "I'm listening, sister," he meekly replied. "So where was I? Huh!" she demanded, as he received yet another lump, making it four in total - a pathetic sight he's in.
Reniel was so nervous, but he ignored his nervousness when his mom opened the door. He murmured words while crying in his mother's arms, "Why's that? Did something happen, my dear?" she asked. "Nothing, mom. I just missed you," he replied.
"Aw, my son, you're so cute," she cooed. "Don't believe her, mom. He's just making excuses for his mistakes, remember two months ago when he last visited?" his sister chimed in.
Upon hearing his son had arrived, along with his daughter, Raymart, their father, approached them kindly. "Don't be like that, Jane. Your big bro is already here, so come on, the dinner's getting cold."
But everyone was shocked to see Reniel, a crybaby, even in the arms of his dad. "What's this Christmas tree lookalike on your head?" his dad asked, referring to the lump, which made them all laugh happily.
The next day, as he said goodbye to his family, Reniel decided to train his body after returning to his apartment. But first, he had to buy a lottery ticket before the deadline, as the winning numbers had been stuck in his mind since the day the game descended into reality.
While deciding how to use the money he would receive the next day, he made a short call to his mom and dad. He had actually left the elixir in the medicine cabinet, claiming it was a medicinal supplement he had bought with his own money - not entirely a lie, but he decided not to tell them where he had acquired it, as it was not for sale and not yet in this world.
The next day, after receiving the winning prize, he bought a plot of land in the countryside, which would be the starting area for new players. As the owner of the land, he could do whatever he wanted with it.
While waiting for the agent, Reniel saw his old classmate Rica from elementary school.
What a coincidence!
A sad memory washed over him, but this time he managed to control his emotions. He recalled that Rica, aka "the Battle Angel Rica" was a SSS class divine mage and his girlfriend that had died in the last stand.
Reniel used his observational skills, and it felt as if the world had slowed down for 5 seconds. Rica seemed to sense some uncertainty when she saw the pale-faced boy her age.
For the first time, Reniel forgot about the potential for mana depletion. He then passed out, but before his eyes closed, he saw the agent and Rica rushing towards him with shocked expressions.
