Alejandro and Desiree were once again on a tree near the waterfall. The boy was learning how to swing a sword, while the girl sat beside the tree with her eyes closed and an aura surrounding her. The sky was clear, and the breeze blew easily through the air.

Although this sword isn't as heavy as I expected, it's still difficult to swing around with total control. Bavael must be on my left hand, while Khalib will be on my right.

Alejandro then took Bavael out of his pocket bag and held it in his left hand while keeping Khalib in his right. However, the boy is unsure of how to take a posture when using these two weapons.

First, he tried his traditional stance. The sword was in the front, facing an imaginary opponent, and the dagger was behind. However, Alejandro seems to be uncomfortable with this stance. He then tried another position, a normal fighting stance that fighters use when they carry a sword and a shield. Once again, the boy was bothered with this stance as to why should he use Bavael like a shield? Then he tried again, this time he raised the sword in front and he put his left arm to his right forearm.

“What?!! Desiree?! You’re inside my mind? How is that even possible?!” Alejandro was shocked, he was holding his head as he replied to the voice of Desiree.

“Alright, I’ll explain it to you, Ale. When a magic user starts to refine their magic storage, their body will remain in a sleeping posture with their eyes closed and all. They then can exit their own body, it’s like we can control our own spirit. However, in order for us to refine our magic storage, we must connect with nature itself. We must be one with nature. We must know how it is to feel like grasses, trees, leaves, sticks, clouds and even the wind itself. With enough understanding and patience, our magic storage will slowly refine itself. The difficult part is that when refining our magic storage, our spirit drains our energy quicker, that is why foods that are magic types are crucial to magic users. When one eats magic type foods, their spirit will be recovered. Allowing them to refine their magic storage again.”

“Oh, that’s actually kind of simple. I can do that!” the boy smiled and immediately put his dagger to his pocket bag and his sword in his scabbard. He then starts to carry Desiree. He carried her in his back while holding her feet in his arms.

“Good! Well, it’s time to exit your mind so that I can start connecting with nature and refine my magic storage. Remember to be quiet so that I can focus. Thank you, Ale!” Desiree’s voice then fades as she leaves Alejandro’s mind.

Well, it looks like she already left my mind. I’m still amazed that she can do that though. Only sorcerers have the ability to travel through other people’s minds, huh? She really is a special one. She said this is only the first stage, I wonder what the other stage will look like? Oh, I should also buy magic type foods so that she can refill her spirit’s energy immediately. I still have coins with me, but it is inevitable that this would be gone after days. I have to find a way to earn some coins!

Where should I even buy some foods that are magic types to begin with? I can’t risk going back to Boreal village. Desiree going alone in that nasty village would be dangerous too. Sigh, I’ll just ask old man Austin later if there are stores nearby.

Alejandro kept walking, carrying Desiree on his back. Their surroundings were serene. Only the wind can be heard. The grasses are quite clean and lively.
