Chapter 7 - Training

After everyone had a breakfast, the two decided to keep the secret regarding Asterl’s mana. Hina decided to move to her destination as she said that she can’t stay for too long since she has a business with the Human’s adventurer guild at the capital appointed by the Beastmen’s guild. Asterl’s father gave Hina a ride with the peddler since he too has some paper works regarding the trade at the other capital.

“We’ll be parting ways now Asterl. Don’t do anything reckless again, okay? If fate allows us to meet, then we will meet.”

“Okay, Hina. Take care. You too, father.”

The two set off waving their hands as they move at the bumpy road. Asterl then, began to move to the house along with Lyralei.

“Lyra, I have something to ask.”

“What is it?”

“Would you like to accompany me training with magic?”

“What? Young master already regained his mana?”

“Yes, now I would like to train with you since father secretly told me that you know magic and is of high grade.”

Lyralei hesistated at first but after he saw his young master’s cute looking face, she gave up and decided to teach him some basic skills and set some rules before she teaches her magic skills. The rules were easy, it’s just not to go overboard at the training and if Asterl’s feeling tired, he should rest for some time and continue training again.

“Not like that! Your chant should be calm and firm like this.”

Lyralei casted a basic skill Wind gush and demonstrated the chants to Asterl. Of course, there are times that Asterl practice secretly and noticed that the skill Lyralei taught to him are low at mana consumption.

They trained every day till they pass out from exhaustion.

“Getting skills are rather hard. I need to train harder in order to make use of this cheat mana.” said to himself.

Asterl trained and trained and trained and asked Lyralei for more skills to teach.
