My brother hasn't called me ever since the phone call got cut off and its already been almost half an hour.
After seeing the power of the Zombies and knowing he's in the airport which should be filled with these monsters I grow more and more worried and more and more agitated.
After my 11th call, however, someone picks up.
"BROTHER! WHY DIDN'T YOU PICK UP THE PHONE!"
"Sorry, my phone ran out of power."
"WHERE ARE YOU RIGHT NOW!"
"I just got out of the Airport and got into a car, I'll be back home by tomorrow."
"Brother."
"Yeah."
"Don't die..."
"I won't, I'll make sure to come back soon so don't worry, I'll make sure we can survive this apocalypse together and come out of it as Kings."
"I'm waiting for you at home, make sure to come back soon."
"I will."
The call then ended. I feel much more relieved with my brother out of danger. I now know he is safe and finally became relieved.
But before he comes back anything can happen so I can't be to relieved for him. But I can tell from his tone of voice that he has got the situation on his side under control and isn't in any danger so I can feel relieved for that.
Before my brother comes back I better make full use of this time.
I look at the house apartment and started searching around for all the materials which could turn out useful. I first go to the stove. I open it up and underneath the cover for the stove I see a slight flame.
I blow that out.
What I am doing is both extremely dangerous but is a last resort if I need to.
What I'm about to do is cause a stove to start leaking gas. My stove is naturally a gas stove like most stoves installed in this building. I know because a small leak may gradually build up an explosive concentration of gas. So I blew out the flame so that the flame wouldn't ignite the gas which I would turn on if it is a last resort of mine.

I take my toaster and started jamming it full of bread. Toasters that are jammed tend to catch fire after a certain amount of time. Meaning if I was to turn on the gas then the toaster. The time it takes for the gas to fill up the apartment will be almost enough time for the toaster to catch fire.
The toaster fire would ignite the leaked gas if I was to turn it on leading to an explosion.
To make sure that this fire will spread I took out all of my nail polish and started pouring it surrounding the toaster and leading to the carpet. There I poured some flour which I know is flammable as well as a can of refrigerant my brother left behind in the middle of the flour.
If the gasoline doesn't catch fire then the nail polish surely will and that will lead to the refrigerant tank which has plenty of good flammable gas stored inside.
[WARNING: DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!!! I will not be responsible! ]
But this is a last resort of mine which I hope I don't need to do. If the Zombies do however get inside of my apartment and I would need to escape then I'll set up this trap and then run from the window and shut it. By the time I'm long gone from here, the trap will go off and set the whole room ablaze.
I'm also on the 3rd floor which is the highest floor so if any survivors were to hear the explosion then they would probably try to escape before the fire spreads to the whole building. But if they don't hear it then its tough luck for them and my best regards to them.
I hopefully won't have to resort to this but if need be I'll do it. For this will kill a lot of Zombies.
I also prepared some other things which might come in handy.
I go to the small closet which my brother keeps all his supplies in and finds some interesting things inside. I found a PVC pipe some nails some bungee cord a hot glue gun some matches as well as firecrackers which were saved from last year. There were a lot more things but these are the most important which I deemed useful.
I go underneath the gas stove and reignited the flame. I did this because I have a use for the fire the stove can produce. I take the PVC pipe to stick it underneath the fire and have it burn in the middle section of the pipe for a minute. This softens the PVC pipe making it easy to bend. I take the bent PVC pipe and let it cool down.
I take the bungee cord and hang it on the ends of the PVC pipe and then taped the ends and the middle of the PVC pipe. There I have it a Bow. For the arrows, I take some wooden chopsticks which I have a lot of from all the takeouts at the ramen noodle house outside my apartment and started duct taping it together. I then used the hot glue gun to glue a nail onto one end and used duct tape to make the fletching.
There you have it my DIY Bow and arrow.
I made about 50 arrows while waiting for my brother to come back. If you think 50 is a lot then think again. I had a lot of takeout in Chinatown at the ramen place downstairs and the ramen is simply delicious. I always get a pair of chopsticks with all my orders but never used them because I have a pair of metal silver chopsticks which are my personal chopsticks.
So although I get a pair of chopsticks almost every other day I don't use them and they simply continued to increase. Before I knew it I had 5 quart ramen containers full of chopsticks.
After I finished making my 52nd chopstick however I heard the sound of sirens and though if the police were coming to us!
