The boy woke up looking at a clear blue sky. He felt dusty, as if his skin was replaced with dust. The boy breathed out, getting up on his ass. ‘Why do I always wake up lying down on the ground?’
The boy looked around and found that his skin did almost look like it was replaced with dust. The boy dusted his arms off, creating several dust bunnies in the process. He got up, and dusted off his legs, looking back up and seeing a new notification

The boy was surprised. ‘When did I kill fifty-eight foes?’ The boy didn’t think on it for too long, switching to the analyzation of his situation. He was currently somewhere on a mountain, laying on a small patch of dust and crushed rock sand. The boy moved to the edge and found that he was really high up. Like, at least a thousand meters were below him.
The boy cautiously shuffled back, and turned around to find his old nemesis, the giant wolf. “YOU AGAIN!” It was smiling at him, looking like it just found the best meal of its life. It started to circle around the boy, but the boy wasn’t without action. He started circling the wolf as it circled him, and after a few moments he stopped, and so did the wolf.
The boy ran toward the wolf, but the wolf didn’t react; it stood there, its smile growing. Then, just as the boy was about punch its head, the wolf leapt backwards at Mach one into a shadow provided by the mountain. The boy ran past where the wolf just was and crashed his fist into the mountain side. He screamed out in pain and rage, but mostly rage.
The boy was fuming, looking around to for something to relive his anger on, but after finding nothing that he could relieve himself on, the boy gradually calmed down, and started to climb the mountain. ‘Why go down when you can go up...’
The boy took a few hours to climb to the top, almost falling off several times, and severely scarping his entire, naked front body. But every scratch, scrape and bruise didn’t deter him, he pushed on upwards until he got to the peak of the mountain. Looking over the world in-front of him, he saw everything, the natural wonder of it all bringing peace to his mind.
But there was a sort of strange thing down below him, he saw how the world turned black for no apparent reason. The dirt was still brown, but the tree’s and some other shapes with many appendages were black of color almost like a black hole. ‘When did that happen?’ The boy stared at the black zone, deep in thought.
Something loud woke the boy from his mind. He looked around, and saw large shadow approaching him from further down the mountain range. It looked to be giant bird of some sort, but it was hard to tell, as there were several thick clouds blocking the details of what it could be. It then made the extremely loud noise again, nearly making the boy let go of the ledge he was grabbing onto to grasp his ears.
The bird flew towards the mountain the boy was on, its wings producing large booms as it got closer. The boy, suspecting that he was the birds next meal, began scurrying down the mountain. But he was to slow in the eyes of the huge creature, who extended its claws to his last seen position.

The claws crashed through the top of the mountain, the combination of falling stones and the shaking forcing the boy to let go and fall down the mountain, him screaming “WHAT THE FUCK?!” as he fell. But the bird didn’t understand, it just turned downward at bone-evaporating speeds, extended its claws and caught the boy during his fall.
The bird flew through the sky carrying the struggling, naked boy through the sky. The boy tried punching and kneeing his way from the grip of the bird, but stopped after he realized that the drop would kill him if it let go. He allowed himself to be carried wherever the bird wanted. In his spare time before he was brought to his destination.
The boy came to the conclusion that he was carried by an abomination of a giant white-chested emerald hummingbird. This one had a few differences; in that it didn’t have a white-chest, it was dark grey like heavy rain clouds and the beak was more for ripping flesh apart. And of course, the bird didn’t hum; it produced a very deep boom sound.
The boy estimated an hour passed by before the boy noticed that the bird was lowering its altitude, as he now saw the ground and not the tops of clouds. Then, the boy looked to the direction that the boy was lowering, and saw a humongous nest with something moving in it. It was then the boy realized that he was food for the bird’s babies, and started to struggle again.
His struggle was useless though, as the bird just kept on flying downwards, unaffected. The boy struggled until the bird dropped him in the nest, returning to flight and going off towards an unknown objective. The boy sighed, before hearing footsteps behind him and turning around.
“Dear God, you’re are ugly!” The boy was looking at the supposed child of the bird, who had just started to grow out its feathers and was slowly hopping towards the boy, staring at him like a worm. ‘I guess I’m supposed to be its food, but I’m hungry myself, and I could go for some poultry...’
The bird tried to stab the boy with its beak, but he dodged, running under the bird. The boy quickly glanced around the nest, and noticed several skeletons with different weaponry and rusted armor or pierced leather. But one thing caught his attention, a whip. ‘Asphyxiated bird, anyone?’
The boy sprinted for the whip before the bird could try and stab him again, and just got away in time before the bird fell on its back, nearly crushing him. The boy, slightly stumbling, ran and took the whip, trying to crack it as he looked back to the bird, who was finishing tumbling over to stand again. The crack didn’t work, and the whip limply swung through the air. ‘So much for dramatic action...’
The boy firmly gripped the whip, staring at the chick who was staring back at him, looking at him as a threat. The boy sprinted straight at the chick, it preparing to stab him again, as it just saw a foolish, alive piece of food coming to be eaten. But just as the bird shot down its beak at maximum thrust, the boy stopped, and went around shot under it. The chick was surprised by this, and started to turn around.
It was too late for it however, as the boy was already jumping on top of it after he came out from under it. Once on top, the boy sent the whip around the frail neck of the young chick, and wrapped it several times over. The bird did try to get him off by flailing wildly, but it was too late, the boy was done wrapping the neck.
All the boy did was grab onto some feathers and pull with the other hand, and after a minute or so of struggling, the chick dropped dead.

The boy, heavily sighing and heaving, dropped down and started to ponder how exactly he would cook the chick. Unfortunately, any and all thoughts of cooking his food were interrupted, as the boy heard a deep cry coming from the sky, meaning that the mother was back. ‘Ohhhh nooo.’
