I BECAME GOD BY LEVELING UP: CHAPTER 6: INSIDE THE TOWER 2

INSIDE THE TOWER OF DESTINY.

“W–where am I? What’s this place?”

General Kim did not know how she got into the strange white room, but she did not panic because she had felt that her firearm is still strapped around her waist. She glances around and noticed that she was the only one in the room, but what she remembers, she wasn’t the only one who saw the strange window. So that meant that whoever brought her and the others here was separating them for some reason, but for what reason? She thought.

*DING*

[WELCOME PLAYER Su-Ho Kim TO THE TOWER OF DESTINY]

*WOOSH*

*CLICK*

Surprised by the mechanical voice, Su-Ho Kim immediately pulled out her gun, cocked it, and pointed it forward as she turns around searching for who spoke. But she could not see anyone, so who spoke, and if they were watching her from another room, there should be cameras and speakers.

But she could not see any in sight, so where did that voice come from? She thought.

[players chosen by the Tower are given the opportunity to climb the Tower, changing their destiny in whichever way want]

The mechanical voice spoke again, but no matter where she looked, Su-Ho Kim could not find where the sound was coming from.

[you can choose to become the powerful or the powerless the choice is left to you.

[Player Su-Ho Kim, get ready for the Tower tutorial in]

[ 05:30:20:02]

“What tutorial?”

Su-Ho Kim was confused about what something tutorial she had to do that will take five hours to prepare for, but she knows that her common sense could not be applied to this mysterious place that can move a human from one place to another in a second.

Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

“What sort of people could possess such advanced technology to do this? From the information we know, no country has developed a such advanced technology that could move an object at light speed… so, the only conclusion is that this is the work of something not human.

Could it be aliens or are the stories about earth having a hidden advanced civilization true?… No, what am I thinking aliens and advanced civilizations, those are things you see in novels… wait, novels!. That’s right, my younger brother is always talking about the fantasy novels he reads where the earth is invaded by monsters and humanity falls into destruction because humanity’s weapons are useless against the monsters and the only way for humans to fight back is when they enter a tower…

This… can’t be real, right? There is no way something that happens in fictional stories would happen in real life, right?

But what if it’s true, the strange white room, mechanical voice like a system, and the floating window I saw before I got teleported here, all seem similar to the novel…”

The more Su-Ho Kim thought of the situation she was in, the more similar it was to her brother’s rambling about those fantasy novels. But she could not just come to the conclusion because of her lack of information on the situation, but there was something her brother said all these types of stories had in common…

“It–it worked… ha-haha, it actually worked.”

Su-Ho Kim could not believe her eyes. The thing she thought was only a story turned out to be true. Floating in front of her was a blue-colored screen that looked like a video game character’s stats.

She began to doubt her eyes, so she stretched out her hands and touched it. Now the reality set in and she knew that she might have just stepped into a supernatural event.

But inside of panicking, she felt excited. This was the first time in her life since she’s seen supernatural events occur one after another. First, it was the mysterious appearance of a sinkhole, and a Tower appearing out of it, she knew that these events had to be connected, and if these events are similar to the novels are brother read she would need to look for someone who, has read similar novels, so she could use the information to predict the future events.

But there is one problem: she doesn’t know if she would meet anyone, and being separated at the start might just mean she had to climb the tower alone.

“Haahh…”

Su-Ho Kim sighed, as she glance across the status board reading her information. But as she read, she noticed an item section. She opens it and saw something surprising.

“KUSANAGI…?”
