My head is pounding incredibly hard, and my breathing is highly irregular. I feel that my heartbeat is incredibly fast, almost as if it will jump out of my ribcage at any moment. I lie on my back on some damp hard ground feeling like I am about to die. After a while I start coughing heavily and I feel a lot better as a result. Relatively that is.
"Uhhh..." I whine as lie down on the floor. I feel that my arms and legs are spread out, but my left arm is touching something soft... Is that my favorite plushie? "Eugh, where am I?" I talk to myself and open my eyes. But I can't see anything.
Everything is pitch black. I can't see anything except for those boxes that popped up in rapid succession... Wait!? I should not had survived that spell? I then raise my left hand and I feel something fall off my wrist, and I feel how every joint and muscle start aching in my body. Dang, I feel pretty beat up.

"A fathers love, huh?" I mutter to myself as I with great effort raise my back upwards to what feels like a wall. I then use my plushie as an improvised pillow in this darkness to support my aching back. It is still dark as ever. Maybe I should try using simple magic? Some lighting is better than none.
"[Candlelight]" I chant as I snap my fingers. After a second my hand is dimly lit up and I feel drained a tiny bit. My beautiful hand is covered with scratches and bruises... I think one of my nails is broken as well. I wonder how much magic I actually used for this?
Candlelight
School\Affinity: Generalist\None
Base Cost: 1
The most simple spell which all magicians learn. An excellent aid for studying magic at night. Requires excessive amounts of magic to be poured into it in order to light up more than just the area around your hand.
Magic: 63/64
Well, look at that! These boxes are useful after all! Oh, maybe if I pour more magic into the light it will glow brighter? I heard it from my magic teacher in passing that skilled magicians learn this trick early in their career. You should not need a career in order to perform such a trick, right?
I put both my hands around the dim candlelight in front of me and then imagine myself massaging it. With each squeeze I feel myself drained a tiny bit more. But... It works! It now is bright enough to light up the immediate area, and what I can see is...
I am in a damp cave? Where and how deep!?
Query: Where am I?
Answer: Unknown.
Query: How deep down am I?
Answer: Unknown.
And here I was praising the boxes. Once again they prove themselves usel-
Magic: 48/64
Well, not entirely useless. Not really helpful though. I am hurt, I am sleepy, I am hungry, I do not know where I am and I will definitely miss my tea party tomorrow. Damn heroes, it is always the heroes! Is this some kind of divine punishment that I am not aware of, or what?
"Damn it all!" I yell in frustration and hear how my voice echoes for a long time in this cave. Alright, calm down Biali. What should I do now? For god knows what, I can either be in a cave nearby my home or in The Eleven Hells themselves. I sigh and click my tongue and gaze out into the darkness passing through my island of light.
First things first, I need to sleep. I am bloody tired after what happened. I put my plushie now on the floor so I can lie comfortably on my back. Because of the calming ambiance of warm air being blown through the tunnel I quickly fell asleep.
Health: 14/32
After a long time I woke up feeling refreshed. I still feel sore but at least I feel like I can walk now. The Candlelight I had cast earlier was now burnt all out, so I repeated how I did it yesterday and got a new fresh candle to light up the path for me. Now I got another problem; I am hungry. My stomach's rumbling reminded me of that very well when I woke up. But what is there even to eat in a cave like this? Can you even eat moss?
"What I wouldn't do for a cup of tea..." I say as I yawn while stretching my sore limbs and back. I let out a high pitched noise of enjoyment from all the stretching. I should find something I can eat, I am starving!
At least I am not freezing here, considering I am just wearing my night gown, bunny slippers and underwear after I went to bed yesterday. Something working in my favor at least.
"Now where to go?" I talk to myself while hugging my plushie. We are going to become best friends, aren't we? The smell from where the air blows in from is fresh, maybe if I follow it I will eventually find a way out?
"Screw it!" I shout and start following the direction from which the air breeze comes from. My first real adventure and I am ill prepared. All I got is what I wear and my plushie. Mystia will be the first one to face my wrath when I get out of here! I breathe in and then slowly breathe out. Calm yourself Biali, you are in no condition to fight heroes now. Yes, yes, I know. But I hate those heroes!
"Whatever... I am hungry." Feeling down I decided to just follow the warm and fresh air breeze that is hitting my face. While walking I occasionally resupplied my Candlelight with magic, and I felt I got a little better at it each time I did it.
I lost track of time completely as I walked through this long tunnel. My legs started to feel slightly worn out when I heard the sound of water dripping down from the ceiling, and drops of water hitting my head. Looks like my hair is going to become quite the mess in this cave... As I continued through this tunnel I noticed that it now started to slope upwards, and the sound of water gently flowing can be heard. Water is good, if anything I won't feel hungry if I drink enough.
As I walked I stepped down my right foot and it suddenly made a splashing sound. I look down and I see a small brook which curves diagonally into a small hole in the wall left of me. Where there is water, there is life, right? And life is food! I took a small breather before I pushed on forwards.
It did not take long until I arrived into a large cavity which is lit up by blue and green mushrooms, and in the middle of it I can see a tree which is lit up by sunlight from enormous cracks in the ceiling. The brook which I has been following is connected to a shallow lake which surrounds the tree.
"It is... Beautiful..." I gape in awe at the scene in front of me. Then a box suddenly appears...
Dungeon lake discovered.
"D- DUNGEON!? What the heck!?" I cry out in disbelief. This just keeps getting worse! What I remember from my teachers, so are dungeons incredibly dangerous. Even dungeons which are classified as easy by guilds can kill newbie adventurers and mercenaries. And I which only has got the most basic fighting and magic training is not feeling confident about this at all... Come on Biali, do not start crying now! I slap myself in my face as soon as I just started to feel sad.
"Ouch." I look at the tree in the middle of the underground lake. "I wonder if it has food? Eating the mushrooms seems risky..." I noticed that I has started talking to myself a lot while stumbling around down here in the darkness. Must be because I feel lonely.
My stomach is now reminding me again about food, I get it. That tree is as good as any place to start searching at.
