It’s been 6 days since I got transferred into this world. adapting to this world has been my routine now. My diet consist of eating banana and mango, of course its this world’s fruit. The only monster I have encounters so far is slime and I don’t think I can eat them.
In these couple days, I have learned a lot about my occupation and skills. So far, I understand that I can Conquer monsters and make them into my pet. I can summon them by shouting “SUMMON”, and they have their own stat and growth.
I didn't conquer any monsters after my encounter with Kiyo and Waggle. I try to learn as much as I can about the nature of monsters before I conquer another one.
First, they act like pet. They need attention from me, especially Kiyo. They need food, which I already know which food they like. I try once to not give them anything, and they revert back to card. I feel bad for them, so I summon them back, but apparently revert back to card to restore their hunger. So I think it's better to keep them as cards until I need them.
Second, their skills. After I conquered them I got [Roar] and [Harden]. When I checked them, it showed this information.

150 times my STR? My STR is 47 right now. So I will dealt damage around 7000+. its almost double my HP. Even though I am level 1 right now, but if I get hit by this skill from another source, I will be surely dead. I also found out that Conquer monsters don’t raise your level. Because after catching these 2, my level is still 1. Maybe I need to kill them to gain levels ?
Upgrade? So I can make the skill stronger ? Because it’s said “Not Available”, I look at another skill I have.
[Harden (Lvl 3)]
-Cover your body with magical properties to increase its strength-
> Increase your body defense 10% for 10 minutes
> Level Cap = 3/10
> Upgrade (Available)
YES! There is a skill that I can upgrade, but I cannot see the upgrade. Maybe I need a certain requirement to upgrade it? At least, I know I can make my skills more powerful by upgrading. Maybe I need to level up first so I can see how to upgrade.
After I checked both of these skills, I looked at my occupation skill, [Conquer]. and it shocked me.

My [Conquer] skill is now level 3. that means i can catch monster between 20 to 30. but right now, what i have is monster level 10 and 6. i don't think i can catch monster with that level.
Third, How to use the monsters. Next day after I caught them, I try to learn how to fight with them. First thing I noticed is there are some stat that is not showing in the card, such as HP and MP. These stats show up after I summoned them. Its like hologram board that attached to them. Its appear when I look at them or I shout “Monster Status”. I remember [Roar] using Caster’s STR, so I am trying to use skill on my monsters.
When I shout the skill name, something strange happen. I am in slow mode, everything around me move so slowly, but myself is normal. Another prompt open in front of me.

“So it give me option who is going to use it?”

Based on this information, I know that there will be skills that better use on monster, insted of myself. I need to check my monster's status more often.
Today I am planning to catch a monster that I can use to level up both me and my monsters. I have been scouting the area and what I found so far is only slime. I do have a theory that I need to kill these monsters to be able gain experience for me to level up. but, i am still nervous about this decision.
“Will I be able to take the life of other monsters for my own gain?”
This sentence keeps repeating inside of my head. Even though I think I already accepted the fact that I got sent to another world, my human side still can't fully understand this new environment.
I used my method of exploring and tried to explore further from my base. On 3rd day I found a river and I am planning to follow that river and hope that I can find a human or civilization. The river is west of my base, around 500m from the outer pond area.
I pack some mango and banana in my [Item Board] and go to the river. I look around the area and make sure that I don't miss anything that I can bring to fight. I scan a bunch of plants around me to get any food. but so far, only Rangoo and Moonlamp.
I reach the river and it is so beautiful. The water is so clean that you can see the bottom. Bunch of plants with exotic smell grow on the riverbank. I see some insect looking creatures flying around it. They have bright colors and whenever they fly, they leave trails.
Even though I have scouted this place before, I never get close to it. I am so excited when I see a river, but it’s already night. I almost get lost when I try to come back to base.
“Can I conquer those?” I mumbled.
There are a bunch of insects, one of which has a really unique wings pattern. Another one has a weird horn. The scenery looks exotic yet scary.
I approach one insect that looks like Stag Beetle but have 4 horns. His height is almost same as me. It’s color is blue and have distinct pattern on it’s back like Mayan Rune. It’s deliciously munching plant that looks like a square cabbage.

For the first time, I see plants that don’t have any effect. I will bring a lot of these cabbage to base after I done exploring. But, right now my focus is this huge insect.

I am so surprised seeing that this Beetle is level 22. Twice of Kiyo’s Level. At least he is already charmed by the cabbage so I can just Conquer it right away.
“YES”
A bright magic circle is appear below him. He just standing on it and not moving a muscle. I stand behind him and waiting for process to finish. And…… its still going, and keep going. I think its already past 3 minutes since the process start, and the monster still not turn into card.
“What is happening? Why the process still not finish?”
I stand there confusingly watching scene that looks like when you pause a video. When I first Conquer the Slimes, I don’t think it took this long. Maybe because of its high level ?
After 5 minutes, the process is finished. The card is drop to the grass. A shiny-prismatic looking card with Tempest Beetle picture on it is laying on there.

A sword ? as an Effect ? I don’t understand. My first high level monster give me weird effect.
“SUMMON”
A huge beetle standing in front of me, looking at me and suddenly smile. He run toward me and…. hug me?
“BEEE”
“Why are you hug me ?!”
“BEEEEE ?”
With his confusing face, he remind me of my dog. He always use that face if I suddenly raised my voice. I feel bad for him now.
“Okay, you can hug me now”
“BEEEEEEEEEEEE”
This creature act exactly like pet after you conquer them. Those menacing aura that you saw from earlier is gone and change into warm and friendly presence.
“Now I need to identify you first”
So, I check my [Skill Board] and see something that blow my mind.

My Occupation Skill’s Level is raised to Level 5. Now I can catch monster with Level 50 ?
But what make me more surprised is the next skill I get.

“A SWORD?!!”
So, basically this monster can turn into sword? And I have option to fight with him as a monster and a sword. This is basically cheating.
I look at him and shout “STUROM SWORD”. My hand feel the surge of magic power, Sturom Beetle is surrounded by light and suddenly, I hold a sword. A beautiful sword with blue tint and unique runes engraved on it. Huge blade with gap in the middle of it give it mystic feels.
There are no Stat bonus that come with the sword, but I feel more stronger and more safe since I have weapon to rely on. Now I think I can take on more harder challenge going forward.
“Please take care of me, Sturom”
After catching Sturom, I sit down and rest a little bit. I pull out Jam that I created back in the base. Its Rangoo Banana and Moonlamp Mango Jam. I remember how to make jam from Home Economy Class. It’s really simple.
I cut the fruit into even pieces. Then I mashed both fruits together. I don’t have sugar so I rely on sweetness that I get from these fruits. After that I boiled the fruits over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Big, juicy bubbles will start forming, when these bubbles start getting smaller, it indicating that the jam is almost done.
Taste of the jam is delicious. Sweetness from Rangoo Banana and little bit of Sour from Moonlamp Mango is created harmony in my mouth.
“I wish I have bread right now.” I mumbled.
So far my diet in this world only consist on these fruit. Kinda get tired of the sweetness. I want to taste savory food again, like Curry or Yakiniku. Those taste always my preference when it comes to food.
After 15 minutes break, I picked up myself and decided to go back to base, when suddenly I hear bird start flying in panic. Its around 100 meter down road on the river. I hear ruckus like someone deforesting the area.
“Must be big monster that create this ruckus. Should I check it out ?”
My curiosity lead me to that place. The scene when I arrived is horrible. Many trees have destroyed, bunch of monsters dead, body torn into pieces. Fire that burn so flamboyant yet emits evil power scatter around the area. I walk slowly because I don’t know what is cause this situation, then suddenly I hear footsteps behind me.
I look behind me and I stun. I cant believe what I see. Its huge wolf that almost twice of my height. Body is engulfed in fire that cover this disastrous area. 2 little horns spring out of his head like those devils that you see in cartoon. Stood menacingly and his red eyes emits no friendly aura at all. My body feel so heavy and weak.
