Chapter 6: The not so "Hidden" Job
Riding a van Caleb was returning to his dorm after visiting his parents, he explained that he got a job to teach high school students near his college for 3 weeks. His parents supported his decision and they showed how proud they are of having a son like him. Caleb missed his family, his brothers were extremely happy with the gifts he had given them and they never had the trouble of expressing their feelings to him. Growing up his brothers looked up to him and when he decided to go to a dorm they were the first to react about it. Smiling at the memory Caleb thought about his quest.
Remembering the past month in game, he really did a lot of grinding. He received the title "Instigator of War" because of how he made the wolves and the elks fight each other. During the course of his grinding at the clearing he was killed by the red horned elk causing him to lose a level and skill mastery to go down. Vowing for revenge he got out of his capsule and planned for his battle with the elk leader.
Remembering the battle of the wolves with the bear he decided to use them in the upcoming battle. After the 24 hour restriction ending he logged in back and went in search of wolves. After a while he found their lair, now the problem was getting them to the clearing and this many wolves would be hard to lead cause of their numbers. Carefully he laid out elk meat like a trail of bread crumbs for the wolves to follow, at first only a handful of wovles followed the trail and when they got to the clearing the elks started attacking them, only one wolf survived and as the wolf ran back home Requiem was sure the wolves would retaliate.
This continued for 2 weeks, elks along the outer area are being hunted by wolves while wolves die by his hands. The two groups are now getting ready for the battle and behind the scene a young man smiled at what will transpire in the future. He leveled steadily as he killed wolves and elks who strayed away from their territories.
Requiem made his base at the top of a huge tree where he can easily see around the area. The wolves are getting ready for war they even called for other packs to help in their upcoming battle. Requiem estimated around 200 wolves while the elks had around 250-300 in number as night came the war started.
Hiding in the shadows Requiem waited for the right time to attack. Waiting patiently for the two parties to use all there arsenals in store, he killed every mob that showed up around him. The battle was fierce and the two parties were now fatigued from battling for 8 hours. Smiling at the situation Requiem now openly killed any mob who stood in his way. He went straight for the red horned elk as it was repealing enemy attacks. Activating his skills he dashed towards the elk who was surprised by the sudden attack but all was late as the sword was a second away from connecting with its body. Requiem didnt give any openings to the elk, he used Requiem of Souls and slashed the enemy as hard and fast as he can. The onslaught of attacks broke the elks antlers, the damage it received from the wolves made its life go down in a half and with Requiems attacks the remaining hp was going down rapidly. The elk tried to escape but it signed a death sentence when it killed Requiem who just finished killing a group of 24 elks whose hp was in a critical level when the elk leader attacked him. The elk could only take the attacks as it rained down from every direction not before long the elk cried its last breath and turned to ash. Requiem took the loot which were pelts and antlers, looking at the wolves who were still there he pounced at them fighting his way to the alpha, like the bear battle the wolves tried to surround him but to no avail one by one the wolves were dying as he slashed his way to the alpha and like the elk leader the alpha also didnt stood too long. He was level 33 when the war started but now after killing the leaders and their minions he leveled 48. Requiem was fighting enemies by groups from the beginning and now with all the experience gained from fighting this kind of battles he was a force to be reckoned with. His attacks all had aoe(area of effect) shock wave damage even if he was aiming for one mob the slashes of his weapon would damage the nearby mobs as well. The battle was nearing its end as the remaining wolves and elks escaped from the bloodied man who stood in the center of the clearing, dead bodies from both parties were scattered around him.
Looking at the carnage Requiem heard a couple of sounds.

'Quality items used in crafting, not bad I can use this.' Requiem smiled at the loots he received. Looking at the loots a lot of them were material items gained from grinding mobs and the battle from pelts, meats, fangs and horns.
Thanks to his hard work a lot of his skills improved as well.
Looking at the scenic view in his side of the window Caleb was smiling silly at the things he did the past month in game . All the trouble he did just to get revenge made him smile when a sudden shutter and a flash broke his daze. Looking at where the shutter and flash came from he saw a lady grinning at him holding a dslr camera. He shyly turned his head around blushing at what happened. 'I looked like an idiot ughhhh' Caleb said to himself as he wanted to erase the the memory of what happened.
Later that day a picture of a guy captioned "A look to remember" went viral in twitter and other sites with many comments saying they want to be his beloved.
Arriving at his stop he quickly got off the van and walked hastily towards his dorm. Looking at a familiar place he entered like a ninja not wanting to be noticed by his colleagues in the dorm so that he can continue his quest. He found the area where he needed to go after a very very very long search but due to his visit home he didnt get to see what the cave had in store for him. Reaching his room he quickly went in and headed for a change of clothes before logging in.
Requiem threaded carefully as he went in the cave. The cave had many skeletons laying around which instantly made him think that something is living here. Not wanting to enter he thought of one thing he can do, smoke the enemy out. Taking firewood wood out of his inventory he placed them in the middle of the passage, lighting it up he quickly ran outside positioning his self in a good location in case something comes out. After a few minutes thick smoke came out of the cave waiting for anything that will come out Requiem readied his sword. A few minutes more a beast was roaring as it came out of the cave. Instantly Requiem dashed towards the beast hitting it with all he had but the beast fur was as thick as iron. The beast staggered back as it took the hit, regaining its composure the beast walked out of the smoke making his appearance known to whatever attacked him.

Requiem was looking at a humongous figure at first he thought it was an ogre but when the figure got out of the smoke there stood the big ass bear from before. The bear roared as it menacingly stared at Requiem but to him there was no effect because of the stat fighting spirit. Requiem knew it was a do or die moment as the bear moved closer to him not wanting the bear to take initiative and attack he dashed towards the beast hitting it as hard as he can. The beast blocked the attack and retaliated with an attack of its own but to no avail Requiem just evaded like a ninja.
"You really strong." He let out as he dashed towards the bear. The bear attacked the same time and it flung its big paws at Requiem causing him to be thrown back. Looking at his hp it dropped by 20% instantly as he stood up. The bears attacks are no joke it really hurts and if he gets hit by one solid blow he knew his hp will hit the critical level.
"Time to get serious. Sleeping Forest"
He quickly ran towards the bear causing the bear to unleash its claws but Requiem instantly dashed upwards and did a vertical hit aimed at the beasts head.
Critical Hit!
You dealt 200 damage.
The bear staggering as it tried to cover its head let its guard down.
"Now! Requiem of Souls!" Shouting Requiem unleashed his combo attacks at the enemy. The bear seemed to have activated its skill causing his fur to toughen as it took the blows. 'What the heck is wrong with this fur.'
Requiem attacked relentlessly but as his skill ended the bear was still standing tall like it wasnt fazed at all. 'Wha....' Requiem was facing against a veteran opponent who lived in a "the weak gets eaten" world. The bear rushed at him but he used his sword to shield the attack and he jumped out of the way. Requiem saw his mana depleting by the minute he needed to act fast if not he will be on a disadvantage.
Deactivating his skill he waited for his skill cooldown. He went for the hit and run tactic causing the bear to get more angry. The bears eye turned bloodshot as it rushed towards Requiem. He knows this skill "berserk" where you gain damage but lose your self to the blood lust causing you to attack anyone near the area, this was the skill he didnt want to learn or the job he didnt want to have because its not his style and having a two handed giant sword he looked like one but thanks to Sleeping Forest he gained a skill similar to berserk which was more like a frenzy of attacks. He dashed away from the beast waiting for the right moment to attack, with every attack the bear had many openings which instantly Requiem took advantage of. Hitting the blindsides of the bear it continued to attack nonetheless.
Requiem received damage over time and he was now hitting a critical level the battle needs to end or else he will fail.
Drawing the opponent to attack he waited for it to rush at him. He ninja moved away and decided to go all in. "Requiem of Souls!"
The bear tried to retaliate but its attacks were being blocked by Requiems slashes.
'Faster......faster.........faster..........faster.' Requiem said to himself as he slashed faster with every strike.
"Die already!" He shouted at the bear.
Requiem looked at bear who seemed to be not affected by his attacks. The bear was starting to piss him off and when the skills duration ended he did an unexpected thing.
He kicked the bear right on the nuts causing the bear to stand there not moving. "Are you still alive?" Asked Requiem.

'WTF!!!!!' Requiem was dumbfounded with the skill, it was an act of desperation which led him to do the deed. He didnt enjoy it or anything also. Looking dejected he looked at the loot the bear dropped.

Requiem was laughing at the bear loots he can believe what he was seeing. What a drop, if he wasnt mistaken only boss class mobs drop this kind of items which also has a 0.01% chance of dropping. Requiems laugh reverberated as he walked towards the cave. Lighting a piece of fireword he walked inside the bear cave.

Requiem continued as he smiled at message. Looking ahead he saw something like a sword as he walked deeper he was certain it was a giant sword like his weapon closing in he looked at the sword that layed in the ground.
He slowly touched the sword when a sudden flash blinded his eyes.

'Holy Sh!... ahem excuse me, a hidden class.... A HIDDEN CLASS!!!!!!' Requiem shouted in his mind. He couldn't contain his emotions he jumped and shouted at the quest reward.
"YES!!!!!" Requiem answered without an ounce of doubt.

"Warrior?! Is this even a hidden class?" He asked himself. Taking the weapon he logged out instantly as he wanted to know if his new class was rare or not.
