I am momentarily in a rather pathetic form.
But that wasn't always the case...
Whilst lying in a green, blooming field I can clearly remember being at the pinnacle of evolution!
Hair, Red as Blood, two mighty horns crowning my pale greyish head and my crimson eyes, which envoke fear even in the toughest opponents, the signature twin scar I got from the previous demon Lord, two meters and 30, towering above my enemies,
but that is no more...
Now at a pathetic one meters and fifty, eyes only slightly glowing and wearing a mask to protect my identity. Oh, well at least my skin kept its beautiful sickish grey and the scar.
Yes, I, the great demon lord Ignatius, was defeated.
The last thing I remember was that some adventurers used a magic Item on me, but I can't remember which one... My memory is still clouded.
Anyways, I need to get back to my castle, before my kingdom crumbles.
As I got up, I see a small village nearby the blossoming field, in which I was previously lying. Maybe I can get some information on the situation in the war?
Whilst walking towards the village, I remember, why I hate the summer. The light, so bright, hurts my eyes, the sun burns through my rotten flesh and the pollen, the worst thing the gods could have created... Can't plants fuck normally?
["ACHOOO!!"]
Hopefully, no one heard that.
As I get closer to the town, the straw roofs are more clear to notice: this is a poor farmer village, they won't know any details about the war.
Oh, before I forget, I should probably hide my sword:
["Ahh my trusted *Externish*, luckily I kept you after entering this pathetic form!"]
After hiding *Externish* within my cloak, I proceed to walk toward the direction of the village, where I come across vast fields of wheat and cabbage.
After entering the village I approach an old farmer, his strong arms emphasize how long he's been working on these fields.

["Ehem, hello, I just, Uhm..."]
Oh fuck, I forgot, that I never really spoke to people casually before.
[Farmer: "How may I help you?"]
["By any chance, can you tell what the situation in the war against the demon lord is?"]
[Farmer: "War? Oh, that war! Well, how do I say this... the last war is three years over."]
["W-WHAT?!"]
Three years over, what even is this peasant talking about?
No, no, It could only have been a few hours that passed, right?
RIGHT?
["A- Anyways, thank's for your help, I'll get going then!"]
[Farmer: "Aye, no problem!"]
Whilst venturing through the village, I observe the people closely:
They seem HAPPY? Even when they only have straw roofs the villagers seem happy.
Such poor folk seems so much happier and satisfied than the noble ladies and gentlemen I was used to torture...
But even so, as their eyes followed me, I could see uncertainty.
Just, when I was about to leave the village at the entrance on the other side of the main path, a young woman approaches me.
Roughly 1,70 in height and golden hair, falling just lower than her shoulders. Her amber eyes softly gaze in my direction.
Holding a bucket of milk tight in her hands she approaches further:
["How may I help you?"]
[Auru: "H- hello, my name is Auru, I am the daughter of the village chief, you are an adventurer, aren't you?"]
["No, why do you ask?"]
[Auru: "Oh, It's just, well, goblins have been skirmishing around here lately so Father wanted to get rid of them, but he hasn't come back yet. And because, well I kind of saw your sword poking out of your cloak "]
["Alright, Alright, I'll go get your father."]
[Auru: "Thank you kind stranger, but may I know your name?"]
["Igni, just Igni"]
You may think, "why not tell her your real name?"
DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW MANY ENEMIES I HAVE?!
[Auru: "Alright then, I'll be counting on you Igni!"]
