Adam was walking out of the building when someone called out to him. "Adam wait up a bit," Said someone behind him, Adam turned around and found Claire, she seemed to be blushing. "A-Adam I was wondering if you wanted to hang out later today, me and a few friends wanted to get to know you better," Adam picked up instantly what Claire was trying to say. "Oh you want to 'hang out'," Adam said in a teasing tone as he leaned down closer to her face. This in turn made Claire blush even more before she turned around and walked away. (I'll have to reward her) Adam thought as he watched Claire walked away while swaying her hips.
Adam left the school remembering what he set out to do, his classmates still needed some clothes to replace their tattered school uniforms. And Adam had to get some more stuff as well. So this time he also had Claire give out food and other goods so that he wouldn't have to since he would be gone for a long time. The place he planned on getting this from was a mall that was about 2 hours away. It would take Adam a while to get there since he would also have to clear the way there. Honestly, this was a huge risk, but Adam didn't feel very threatened by any of the monsters or zombies here. Especially since his status had risen immensely from everything that he had killed. The monopoly that he had over all of the monsters in the area would disappear when the rest of the group starts killing creatures as well.
"This is the place," Adam said as he smashed in the head of a zombie with his foot. "There are a lot of zombies there, great yet more people that I have to take care of." Said Adam as he slaughtered the undead that was banging on a reinforced door that leads to a room behind the store in the mall. After killing them he knocked on the door. "Anyone alive isn't there? I cleared out all of the zombies so it's safe now," The door opened and a milf came out and hugged Adam. "Thank you so much," she said while hugging Adam tightly. "I-I thought that I was going to die from starvation or a zombie eating Mr. Alive!" Said the woman as she held him even tighter.
All Adam did was watch as she balled out to him about the experiences that she had gone through as she was stuck in that room. "Well, your safe now don't worry I'll bring you back to a base that I made. Here are some food and water you must have been starving," Adam said as he grabbed her some stuff from his inventory. "T-Thank you so much," Said the woman as she sat on the bench outside of the shop. She was also wearing the shirt that Adam was wearing since her clothes... weren't covering much since they had been ripped. Thank goodness she wasn't scratched since that would have turned her into a zombie.
"Thank you once again for saving me, my name is Lisa," "Now the problem, Also my name is Adam. I came here to get clothing and some necessities for a group that I'm currently with. I can take you back with me if you want, but I need to get some of the stuff here first. Do you think that you can wait a bit," Adam asked. "I-I can wait, but please hurry," After Lisa said that Adam quickly made his way to the other floors and got all of the clothes and food that he could find. As he made his way back to Lisa he saw a group of zombies in the food court. Of course, he had seen them there before, but now they seemed to be trying to reach something.
"Did someone have the same idea as me?" Said Adam as he jumped down and grabbed the ledge of a wall and tried to get a better look at what s going on. It seemed that they were aiming for a restaurant that was boarded up, but it didn't seem as if anyone had broken into it recently. The store looked as if someone had tried to escape. Especially since the door that leads to the outside of the mall had most of the glass on the outside.
Stolen story; please report.
Adam got closer and heard people fending off the zombies and trying their best to keep them at bay. "Fuck chad used us as a distraction," Said a girl as she cried while stabbing a zombie in the head with a sharpened broom. (Why are they all women?) Adam thought as he looked at them. (The only guy there looked like he had been killed by whoever had left the mall.)
"Hold on, I'll get you guys out of this," Adam said as he jumped down from his position and got between the zombies and the humans that were behind the barricade that was about to break. [fire] Adam said a chant and let loose a turn of flames from his hands that took out about half of the zombies that were there. He made sure not to set flames to any of the walls of the mall. Adam then got to work killing the rest of the zombies and making sure that he didn't let any of them die.
"Did any of you get bitten or have any serious injuries?" Adam said as he got closer to their barricades. "Not another step said one of the girls," as she pointed a makeshift weapon at him. Adam kept his hand up as he continued to walk forward. "I mean you guys no harm," Adam said in a clear voice as he looked into her eyes. "Cathy put down your weapon, we couldn't hurt him even if we tried. What do you want from us... we have nothing of value except for our bodies, and even then most of us aren't that willing to give that up." Said a woman that seemed to be battle-hardened and had scars on her arms and neck. There were none on her face, and her beauty was way above average and she had a nice figure.
"I'm not here to trade, all I want is to save as many people as I can... if it is within my power." Adam said as he walked into the opening of their barricade and looked around. There was only one corpse and one of the younger girls looked as if she was about to change into a zombie. There was a huge bite mark on her shoulder and it was bleeding green and puss. Adam reached into his inventory and grabbed a vial that had a deep red color to it. "Here give it to her, this should cure the zombie desires that are currently plaguing her. Though the pain will render her unconscious for the rest of the day," Adam said as he held out the via.
The scarred woman looked conflicted as she stared at the vial with doubt. In the end, she took the vial and poured into her mouth, and kissed the girl that was infected. Instantly she screamed and convulsed on the ground from pain and agony before passing out. The scarred woman then picked her up and walked towards Adam and bowed her head. "P-Please protect me and my daughter, I'll so anything," Adam nodded his head as he brought them out and towards Lisa.
It would appear that Lisa had fallen asleep while Adam was saving the women in the cafeteria. He picked her up and started the walk home. "Why are you protecting us?" Asked one of the girls. "Because of my dad, he always said take care of those that can't. At least until they can do it on their own, so I will be here until I teach you guys how to survive in their new world." Adam said as he continued to look at his surroundings and making sure that there were no threats. "But why do you need to leave," Said a girl with a pretentious look on her face. "My dad is still out there, and soon he will die. I want to be with him in the end to at least show gratitude for how much he helped me grow, even though he adopted me I still feel that connection."
"Thank you for saving us, my name is Maranda." Said the women with scarres. "I was part of the army and had retired a few months before all of this happened. Not going to lie I thought that my final moments would have been in that cafeteria being eaten alive by those undead bastards... Thank you," She said again while tearing up. It must have torn her apart reliving that horrible moment, especially since her daughter was bitten and nearly turned into a zombie herself.
In total there were 8 girls in this group and all of them seemed to hang their heads down and just look depressed. Though Maranda was the only exception as she continued to stare at Adams back while crying a bit. "Oh yeah, I was also curious about the person in your group that had left you guys to die," Adam said hoping that they would be able to give him some info on the person that did this, but they were adamant about not saying anything as it seemed to be a big wound that hasn't yet healed.
