City Of Vampires (prologue)

“Carry it carefully!” “You stupid! We should deliver the guns without a single scratch on them.” “I’ll be careful sir” “You better be!” the conversation between a headman and his recruits, while they were cautiously carrying the heavy, big, wooden boxes full of guns and ammunitions from a van, to another. “I hope those bastards don’t ruin this mission. It’s one of the most important missions we’ve ever had in mafia.” The headman though. The rain, made the night feel heavy and unbreathable. No matter whether the people were recruit or masters, they must have worn an old-style black suit and a rounded-hat. That style was pretty common among mafias in the world. The smoke was also filling the air because of the recent industrial revolution. While everyone was doing what they were ordered too, a man with glasses who were checking things on a list, heard footsteps echoing in the tight alley. He quickly drew his pistol and put the papers away, “Who’s there?” he shouted at the shadow which was getting more and more close. Everyone else who just noticed the menace, pulled out their pistols and aimed at the shadow. “Hey gentlemen! What were you doing?” a high-toned voice of a woman came from the darkness. “Come any closer, and I’ll shoot you!” the headman said. “Oh! I got scared!” she said with her voice full of teasing. She continued “You’re not that good at shooting. So, I’ve got nothing to worry about.” The headman shot her, who wasn’t still spotted completely by the people there. The shooting provoked her and she moved like a flash light. Everyone was shocked by the inhumane speed of the woman. “Fucking Vampire!” the headman shouted and they all picked rifles from the van beside them and started shooting around. The woman was moving so fast that it was really hard to even catch her with eyes. She moved towards the recruits and started fighting them like it was nothing for her. She punched the first man in the face and twisted his arm and stabbed his eyes with a knife, Blood started filling the atmosphere when she pulled out the knife. She moved fast in fire of guns and stabbed the second man in his neck. She grabbed the third man as a shield and got closer to others. The man got totally ripped into pieces by the bullets and some of his organs fell on the ground. When she got closer, she stabbed her knife in the head of the man with glasses head and grabbed his gun. She spotted the headman in the car with the driver getting away. She just stood under a yellow light and watched them getting far. A devilish smile appeared on her bloody face. She seemed to be around 20-30. Her brown her was shining under the light. She licked around her red lips and tasted the blood which made her joyful faced, a bit disgusted. “Not tasty at all, but what other choices I have?! Let’s eat the meal before it gets cold and hard. She started by ripping men’s bodies and tearing their meat with her sharp teeth.

“It was a vampire boss!” “Are you sure?” “Of course, I was able to see how powerful she was, if I hadn’t run away, I would’ve been dead!” “I see.” The boss of the mafia who was wearing a black, high-class suit with shaved beard and a bit of mustache rubbed his chin “We need to stop them somehow, or else they’ll interrupt our business and might even ruin it.” Then he looked at a man standing near his chair. He seemed to be his right hand and aged. His appearance was meant to be a total soulless and knowledgeable man. “Any solution, Fred?” boss asked. Fred’s rich voice of gentleness came out of his mouth while his tongue was shaping the worlds “Sir, we might need to talk to them and see what’s their purpose. We may be able to solve their problem. No injuries this way.” Boss sighed “It’s useless Fred. They’re looking for blood at night and we’re the one who are working late.” “We can provide our team more defenders.” Fred spelled out words calmly. “It’s no use again, I mean not efficient; Our troops are not that professional to take them down with not bringing at least 5 dead bodies!” Boss said and rubbed his eyebrows to get rid of anxious and think clear. “B-Boss, there’s a rumor about an assassin around the city lately.” The headman said. Boss looked at him curiously “An assassin? What do you mean?” Headman answered “He is an assassin for vampires. He kills them.” Boss who was shocked asked “Kills? He’s a werewolf of something like that?” Headman shook his head “No boss. I mean no one at least see him as a werewolf.” Boss faced Fred “You’ve heard something about it?” “I’m afraid it’s a lie to keep people comforted.” Fred said calmly. Boss looked at headman again “Alright, we don’t rely on that for now, but if you find something about him, make sure to bring it on.” Then he got up, turned back and started walking toward the door of the room. “We’ll argue about it again tomorrow. Good night.” And he exited the big room which had a small desk and a chair behind it. Headman and Fred looked at each other and decided to go to their room as well.
